Scammers
Scammers! Where is my refund? I have knowledge from the government REGISTERED site you are not legitimately chipping my pet! DUSGUSTING COMPANY I WANT MY REFUND
Fraudulent Company
My kitten went in for castration and I was told he wasn't registered. I paid the fee on the link provided in my booklet and received an email from the pet database to advise me that this company is fraudulent. I have applied for a refund and have had to go through measures to try and register him properly which is now a legal requirement. How awful to steal money from innocent owners. Disgusting.
Paid£21 to register my puppy with you
Paid£21 to register my puppy with you
The website I used was actually on the leaflet containing the puppy microchip number so assumed it was fine.
Now I find it’s not on uk database at all
Therefore have had to pay a further £24 to register the micro chip again .
Had she gone missing there were no details on uk database
Absolutely disgusting! You deserve to be taken down.
People adore their pets and you do this!
Hope one day you’ll get bad bad karma back
Scam Website
Thought I was on one of the 15 legitimate uk government websites but somehow ended up gifting £27 to these scammers. Go nowhere near these "oursouls" and check that you are paying a company listed as legitimate on ukgov site. If caught like me contact your bank and action fraud. These clowns have been on Google for too long and their sites need to be taken down.
I fell for this SCAM AS WELL!!!
I fell for this SCAM AS WELL!!!
I had just lost my gorgeous Lola a 4 year old miniature dachshund with kidney failure & was lucky enough to get my puppy. To find out I’ve been SCAMMED when going through such heartbreak & expensive vet bills is the last thing I needed! Now I’m TERRIFIED these Scammers have my bank details on top of everything else!
DO NOT USE THIS WEB SITE IT IS A SCAM
This site should be blocked. I tried to change the registration of my puppy to me via the site the vets gave me via Google and paid £21.00 only to find that he is not registered for his microchip and this company are scammers. No phone number and they do not reply to emails. Unable to give a lower star than one.
THEY SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN. I have registered it with my bank who are now dealing with it.
This site just preys on the vulnerable.
This site just preys on the vulnerable.
I work at a veterinary clinic and one of our clients has just fallen victim to this nonsense. Pets Microchips are non-defra-compliant and should be closed down. It's a shame the microchip database environment isn't better regulated.
SCAM. AVOID
THIS IS A SCAM. AVOID. I can’t believe there are no warnings about this online. I just got an official email from someone else that my pet was not registered even though I paid…
How is this website still active
How is this website still active? The details my vets gave me, once googled it took me to this site. I registered and paid only to get an email a few weeks later saying that this site is a scam and she was never registered!
Report!!
SCAM AVOID SHOULD BE ASHAMED DOING THIS TO PEOPLE
I too fell for this I genuinely believed I had registed my new pup and even got the confirmation email. Until Petsdatabase then contacted me saying I had paid a fraudulent company. How can these people live with themselves stealing from people. I hope one day this happens to you, scum of the earth please avoid people don't fall for it. I should have been more aware go onto the gov website and register your dog with one of the websites listed there.
Full on scam!!!
Full on scam!!!! Lost £21 to this company, they do not change your pets my bank has fraud onto these, please avoid
Scam company
Scam company. I am getting costs refunded by my bank ... Pets Microchip tried to reregister the microchip with multiple other authentic databases thankfully a real database (where I have my other dog registered) went about and beyond and registered it without the process being initiated by Pets Microchip. The clue I should have spotted was no phone number in support/contact me.
Didn’t even wanna give it 1 star how…
Didn’t even wanna give it 1 star how the hell people can scam you out of your own money that I have worked in a proper job for I haven’t robed people for that money it’s disgusting!
1 star or 2?
I toyed between giving a 1 star or a 2 star rating. Yes, it’s a scam, but I should have been more attentive. And, to be fair, they refunded my money within 48 hours of my contacting them. So I’ve gone for 2 stars.
Not a government site. A scam.
I fell for this and lost £21. I believed I had changed the details of the ownership of my puppy. It is not appearing as registered on the government website. I have contacted this company by email but I believe the whole site is false. No reply from them. No refund from them. I am claiming my money back from my bank.
AVOID this false company.
This site is not UK Government…
This site is not UK Government recognised, therefore untrustworthy. It refunded me the £21 immediately on request, however.
Fraudulent website
Fraudulent website, had to pay again with a proper microchip company to register my pup! Reported to my bank as fraud and to ico for GDPR as anyone can see the details
Fell for this one like everyone else
Fell for this one like everyone else, put Petlog into Google and this site came up, so conned out of £27. Would give no stars if I could. Had to pay another fee to the real Petlog. Contacted fraud team at my bank and they are looking into this scam operation.
Scam
Scam - be aware! A scam site that gets you to pay for the privilege of harvesting your data. Reported to Google, who really should be doing a better job of preventing sites like this getting to the top of their searches. Lesson learned.
I foolishly created an account with this company…
I created an account with this company by accident. I put Petlog into google search and Petsmicrochips opened first, fooling me into thinking they were the same organisation. So, £21 later, I have a new puppy who is theoretically registered on a database my vet doesn’t recognise. Petlog will now not register her on their database until Petsmicrochips remove her from theirs. But, as others here have mentioned, there is no telephone number, both email addresses are cancelled, so no way to contact them, if indeed, they actually exist! Only alternative now is to have her re-chipped and register the new number with Petlog.
I have to conclude that Petsmicrochips is a scam. Up to you but I would advise to steer well clear of them.
