The third time our robot vacuum cleaner burned out (first and second time we received a new) customer service keep looking for an adult to take responsibility for the case and product. After two months+ and numerous e-mails we still don’t have an answer to whether we’ll get our money back or a new product. They keep coming up with apologies of the right people how needs to take care of the case and we need to follow up on almost every e-mail.
When we had a functional machine, we sometimes asked; do we actually need this robot? But having been without for months we really see our money well spend (next time it will however not be a Philips).
Typical Philips experience in DK. Late product delivery, absolutely no communication or customer service. No explanations and zero help for any mistakes by them. If they had any competition, they would cease to exist. They never take responsibility for any mistake. Their site is a continuous loop of frustration. The site supposedly offers you the option of chat, email, or phone. Any selection loops you back to FAQ or phone only. They ensure no negative feedback about service can be left on their site, only specific product reviews. They are more focused on moderating their reviews than correcting mistakes. They were contacted by the shipper that they needed to contact them for a correction of the address. I was notified by the shipper at the same time. I left a review on Philips.dk page shortly thereafter. They spent their daily effort to moderate my review, delete and notify me about it, and then neglected to contact the shipper. I know this becuase the shipper notified me again 2 days later about the same issue. I can understand if it were basic normal human error on this debacle. But, the package left from them with no house number on the label. That means no one inspected the package or the label before it was picked up by the courier. A person can over look a wrong number. But, no number would catch a normal persons attention at a glance. It's pure neglegence with zero communication or excuse from them. If you have no other option but to deal with them, just know they will never act as a responsible retailer. They well know that someone who provides the only option for some necessary products allows them to be as incompitent as they please and you have no recourse or ability to hold them responsibe. If you have any other choice, buy elsewhere and hold them accountable via loss of business. It's our only recourse to stand up to them. You'll be happier in the long run. just to let you know. I left a review without any negative remrks on their page with a referal to Trust Pilot. I'm willing to bet money that they will delete the review in order to deter anyone from reading honest and clear reviews of them.
Bought an oled tv last year and now it got broken and they told me i will get a new one!
The problem is i am waiting for delivery since over 2 and a half week to come from Holland to Denmark!
When i call them they cant even track it or do much to help! Now that Christmas is coming i dont have any hope on geting it!
When i asked them if i can have my money back as they past their delivery date they sayd no they cant and neither they can offer a compensation as a voucher or what ever!
I hate it wish i never got a Phillips Tv!
Bought a Philips TV a few years ago and it packed in after 6 months. It was taken back for repairs and after another month came back only to break down again after a few weeks. A "Philishave" shaver I bought wouldn't work after only a few months also!
Totally unacceptable products. Swore I'll never ever again buy anything made by this Company
