I ordered afternoon tea for my dad’s birthday. Unfortunately the delivery company let me & Piglets Pantry down & didn’t deliver when they were meant to, meaning the tea was spoiled.
However, the wonderful Georgina very promptly arranged for another to be sent out which was thoroughly enjoyed by my parents.
I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful tea (which looked very tasty) and the great help and assistance they provided. I will definitely order from them again.

Used a buy a gift, voucher on the afternoon tea delivery.
So pleased with it. Every item was very tasty and expertly packed. Best sausage rolls and scones i have tasted. Well recommended

We ordered this for my auntie Margaret .I ordered it for the 24th of October instead of the 24 th of September.
Lady on phone very understanding and sent it as soon as possible to the 24th of September
Auntie Margaret loved it and said it was fantastic quality! She doesn't get out very often so was very pleased with it!

Ordered online a pie and beer box to be sent to my Grandson who had just started at Exeter University
Got a call today to say that they cannot deliver to Exeter University as have been unable to deliver orders there in the past and informed it would have 75% chance of being a failed delivery. Would not refund the cost of the box - only the cost of the gift card to accompany it. However they did agree to send the Pies to me at a date of our choosing provided it was reasonably soon as they had already ordered the ingredients. Just want everyone to be aware of this inability to deliver to the University as your money will not be refunded

The giftee loved their afternoon tea box. Excellent delivery, excellent packaging, brilliant quality, and really lovely team. One thing I’d have liked is delivery available within two days of wanting to order, rather than 3-4. The website interface was hard to use on mobile- which I’d say majority people order via phones. My dad would have struggled to use the site. Thank you team! Will definitely order again soon x

Packaging damaged, the ice bags were defrosted so had been in the box a long time, the post on the box said 1 day only but arrived a day later, scone was hard and stale, the veggie savouries were dry and all the same flavour, carrot cake was lovely and moist. As this was a gift I had to lie to my friends and tell them it was delicious, not worth the money, you need to give what you advertise, it’s called customer care

My daughter bought me a gift of classic afternoon tea from piglets pantry. All of the ingredients supplied was amazing and very well packaged. Would definitely use them again and try out other products.

Having had deliveries from Worthing previously, to see you had opened the store at Brighton station was great news…. Until….I found out it was card only after placing my order. I only had cash on me but thankfully you have 2 super heroes working in the store, one of which was Katelyn (I think) who offered to use her card for me and I gave her the cash. Thankyou Katelyn and thankyou both for first class customer service.

Have you any plans to accept cash? Whilst I accept the security around it, I hope it doesn’t put potential customers off.

Excellent vegan afternoon tea
Bought as birthday gift for daughter, she loved it. Food delicious, beautifully packaged, instructions very clear and very generous portion sizes.

You can tell they use really good quality ingredients, lots of care and attention has been taken to make them, beautifully packaged, arrived on time, brilliant customer service and the portion sizes are soooo good 😊
I got the Laura Ashley afternoon tea for my parents as a gift they said everything was YUM!! Delicious, tasty and the nicest cakes an bakes they have had. (You know things are really good when no words are spoken when eating them your just taking in all the delicious flavours 🤣)

I ordered a cream tea for two having sent them as gifts in the past and hearing how good they were. I was not disappointed. What a fabulous treat. A sturdy box with ice packs arrived on time and the presentation inside was brilliant. The savouries were gorgeous as were the scones and cakes. Very generous portions too. I will definitely be coming back for more. If I could give more than five stars I would!

Perfection delivered to my door!!! 1st class afternoon tea. I had the vegetarian, my friends had the traditional. We took our afternoon teas to the beach for my birthday, followed by a spot of seaglass hunting. Personally I favoured Piglets Pantry over a popular chain of afternoon tea. I will be ordering again!

I received the afternoon tea box as a birthday gift,it arrived when stated so excellent delivery. The box was lovely and packed perfectly,everything looked just like the photos,ice packs at the bottom kept the food fresh.The food was exceptional quality,everything was tasty and top quality.
I would highly recommend this company for a treat or a gift.

The vegetarian afternoon tea I ordered for my sister-in-law’s birthday treat was wonderful. Your service was excellent, delivery date was spot on, and the tea hamper’s contents were exquisite.

Was very much looking forward to my afternoon tea for 1. Firstly my chosen date wasn't achieved, which I know isn't guaranteed but still not a great start. Then the delivery person decided to leave safe in my "porch" but I don't have a porch, just a small overhang above the door. As the weather was dreadful if was effectively left outside. Also didn't follow "this way up" instructions so the box was left on it's side. This meant the cool packs didn't sit under the food for quite some time before I returned home. The food inside was nice but feel it would've been better if it had stay on the cool packs not slumped on it's side. I had no option to advise of a safe place like I do with other couriers. Let down by delivery courier! Wouldn't use again on this basis.

We have no idea whether the food was good or not because the delivery didn't happen. First there must have been problems with the website as some of the information put in went missing and they had to ring me to find out which delivery day I wanted. DHL had the address but not the individual flat number even though I had put that in. They had our email address and telephone number, but no one bothered to make any effort to deliver. We asked for it to be redelivered, and they put it in the system for Monday. Didn't arrive. Then Tuesday. Still didn't arrive. They have now said Thursday, but the food would be completely spoiled by then. Probably eaten by the DHL people by now.
I thought it would be a good idea to alert Piglet's Pantry but as others have said, they were very condescending and unhelpful. Originally I thought I won't be using them again if they are using DHL, but their attitude after contacting them has put me off ever using them again, which is a shame as we had previously had a good service from Piglet's Pantry.
