Worse company I have ever dealt with!

Do NOT order from this company. They will fail to deliver, lie to you, ignore you for weeks, and refuse to refund you in a timely manner (if at all). I have never come across such a hideous company before. AVOID!

BEWARE: IF YOU ORDER REGULARLY WITH PIXMANIA(-PRO), YOU ARE PLAYING 'RUSSIAN ROULETTE'!

I have been ordering infrequently with Pixmania-Pro since 2010 even though I have been aware of their terrible customer service record. Because nothing goes wrong with your orders, you think it is not going to happen to you. But then it does.

I ordered 4 items back in October (shown in stock at the time). One item was finally dispatched on 4th November, but no update at all from Pixmania-Pro about when the other items would be delivered. After contacting their support I was assured that the items would come back into stock in '8-10 days' (so, middle of November by the latest).
When no dispatch confirmations had been received several weeks later, I again contacted their support in the last week of November this time asking for a refund for the 3 items never dispatched, but up to now have still received no reply. When their support department stopped communicating with me I opened a PayPal dispute, but when I again received no reply to the dispute from anyone at Pixmania, I escalated the dispute to a claim. Pixmania has to this date not even bothered to reply to me or to PayPal, so I await PayPal's ruling in a few days’ time.

Even after the acquisition of Pixmania by Mutares, it looks like the same complaints that have appeared across internet are ongoing. Because once Pixmaina has your money they really couldn't give a damn. Do not think that it will never happen to you, because like me, your luck will eventually run out. Your item/s will not be delivered and you will have to fight for several months to try and get your money back (in my case near EUR 350). A good company would send updates on order progress, a good company would admit that they cannot source stock, a good company would contact its customers to ask whether they would like a credit or refund. Maybe Pixmania believes that the customer will just wait patiently months on end for their order to arrive. Yet it seems at Pixmania that when the customer actually does ask for a refund, Pixmania conveniently ignores that as well.

I would also like to add that I am also extremely glad that I never took them up on their drop-shipping service either, because my customer service feedback would now be ruined as well!

So, remember, just because an item shows ‘in stock’ does not mean that you will be receiving it any time soon. Ordering with Pixmania-(Pro) is pure 'Russian Roulette'...

Criminals – Don't Use PixMania!

I am a criminal based overseas trying to use a stolen UK card to buy items off PixMania. I am pretending to be a reseller and made my first orders over 2 weeks ago.

My first orders were cancelled within 2 days, even after sending some fraudulent documents to try and validate my account. After 5 people, 48 emails, 2 faxes, over 70 minutes to Customer Services at 8p/min, and a couple of calls direct to Paris that went unanswered, PixMania STILL will not validate my account OR refund my stolen card with the purchase amounts.

FINALLY, over 2 weeks later, I am given some choices:

1. Sell products at a loss, paying with international bank transfers costing £20 each
2. Do not sell any PixMania products
3. Organise your own refunds through your card company

There are NO flies on PixMania. As a criminal you will NOT catch them out. DON'T waste your time. Move on to less security conscious companies like Amazon, Ebay etc.

HANG ON! (Needle scraping across an LP record sound) Just remembered – I'm not actually a criminal at all. I'm a sole trader with 100% positive feedback on Ebay since 2006.

Disorganised pan-European company. In stock when you buy, but then your item never arrives. Worst company ever. Call Trading Standards!

Pixmania Pro is shocking! They advertise goods they don't have in stock. This seems to be the same story again and again in the reviews. I ordered a £500 projector online from them. They then insisted I send them my passport and proof that I ran a company. I did so. Five days later they welcomed me as a reseller, but then emailed me; addressing me as Herr instead of Mr. Explaining that my order was delayed. The estimated date of delivery was N/A. I tried to call the phone number they gave - but the touch tone options would not work, from my mobile, home number or any phones. 15 days passed with no contact but they had taken payment from my Amex card - which I thank god for! I rang Amex and explained, and they refunded my money immediately. I never realised how good Amex was! I'm really shocked that a company like this can be allowed to operate in the uk, and am in the process of submitting reviews widely, and in notifying the UK authorities of this company.

Pix Mania Pro - Only if You Like Stress!

Made a purchase and it was out of stock. Requested refund and it was confirmed. Phones up 10 days later, still no refund and no money back on card. And their support staff are extremely obnoxious.

My Advice ... Use at Your Own Risk!

Never use again

Had to use this company to drop ship some items to our customers, as we sold out, as did our usual supplier.

Got email from customer saying its not UK version, although this was not stated on their website.

Customer service line closed @ 11.30am on a Thursday!!!

Why can I not give a 0 Star rating?

Ordered a backlit LCD 55" TV in advance of VAT increase in UK and an all-in-one remote control. Both items in stock, payment taken in full.
Remote control arrived within a week - hooray! A month later no sign of the television, and although the Pixmania web site continues to show available stock, my order keeps getting bumped.
Horrendous company to deal with...

BAD SERVICE

No UK contacts, bad returns policy and they add a warranty by default to your order which you have to opt out of otherwise you often do not realise as it usually costs a similar amount to VAT (it is added on in a very sly way towards the end of the order process). Not recommended at all. There are cheaper places if you use google shopping also and items do not always arrive with a UK plug.

No Returns

I ordered a 26" TV by mistake when I wanted a 32". Box and packaging have not been touched. I would be happy to pay shipping but they will not accept the return unless it is faulty. This should be covered by the distance selling regulations but as they technically are not a UK conmpany, I think they can get away with it. Very disappointing
