Plantation Shutters provided and installed shutters and blinds at my property.
I received quotes from three companies and Plantation Shutters offered the best value for money and good quality products.
The representative who attended my address on two occasions, was helpful, polite, professional and knowledgeable.
The gentleman who installed the shutters was also very professional and polite. He worked quickly and was very tidy leaving no mess or debris.
The admin team were also delightful to deal with.
I am very happy with the installation of both the blinds and the shutters. I would highly recommend Plantation Shutters.

Extremely disappointing experience.
I purchased shutters from this company approximately one year ago. A hinge failed and caused damage to the panel despite the shutters being lightly used in a property that is only occupied on a limited basis.
My initial impression was that the company was willing to investigate the issue, but once I raised concerns and provided photographs and video evidence, the position changed completely. I was simply told that the damage must have been caused by “excessive force” and that neither the company nor the manufacturer considered it to be a defect.
What I find most concerning is that, despite relying on the manufacturer’s opinion, no copy of the manufacturer’s report, assessment, or correspondence has been provided. Instead, I have been asked to accept their conclusion without seeing any supporting evidence.
As a customer, I expected a company selling a premium product to stand behind its workmanship and investigate failures properly. Instead, I have been left with a damaged product, no meaningful explanation, and no resolution.
I am now pursuing the matter formally. Based on my experience, I would be cautious about relying on this company’s after-sales service and warranty support.

When you first contacted us, we approached your concern exactly as we do with any potential warranty issue. We carefully reviewed the photographs and video you provided, and we also sought an independent assessment from the manufacturer. Their feedback aligned with our own professional judgement. With over 40 years of experience in this industry, we are confident in saying that a hinge of this construction does not fracture in this way without the application of significant force.
While we appreciate your request for the manufacturer’s internal report, the comments we shared with you reflect their findings based on the evidence supplied. This is the same process followed for all warranty evaluations, and we apply it consistently to ensure fairness.
We always aim to resolve matters as helpfully and transparently as possible, and we stand behind the quality of our products. As offered, we remain available and happy to fix your shutters, however in this case, both our assessment and the manufacturers indicate that the damage is not consistent with a manufacturing defect, therefore meaning it doesn’t come under warranty.
We apologise that this is not the outcome you were hoping for and we are sorry for the frustration caused. We respect your right to pursue any independent process available to you and we will fully cooperate with any external review.
