I agreed with other tenants reviews on this unprofessional and appallingly run ‘business’. I have never experienced such terrible and insulting service and was made to feel like an inconvenience for the duration of the six month tenancy. None of the faults were ever attended to in the six months and when viewings were being arranged for new tenants the email correspondence was threatening and rude and simply unreasonable. No one ever called back and hid behind email replies and over the six months the experience had a very negative effect on myself and my partner. I would recommend that no one uses this company, they don’t deserve to have decent tenants the way they treat people.

they took care of every detail for us and whenever we had any questions they were always ready to help us, I recommend them to anyone.

Lovely customer service when I was looking to rent a property through their agency they provided me with all the details I needed before moving in so I knew all the fees I would have to pay before moving into the property.

Terrible unproffesional company. I used these people as a landlord and through their incompetence and bad practice ended up in court as they didn't put the tenants deposit into a registered account. They then dodged the fine payment leaving me with the bill.
They are totally unscrupulous.

PLATINUM ESTATES DERBY - Didn't even waste my time to a viewing with these in the end for a property they have listed for rent - before I could get any questions across they wanted to make a point of what their charges are, 1st month rent, holding fee and deposit total was more than £2300 for a (Overprised) property that was only £850. Per month - their holding deposit was DOUBLE any other agency charged AND was non refundable which was expected BUT when they say even if we aren't accepted by the landlord, we still went ahead and booked a viewing, only to be called the day before that they didn't want to be in the property all afternoon so wanted an OPEN GROUP VIEWING with others that were interested - JOKE COMPANY In for the money and nothing else, STAY CLEAR

This company are a joke !!! Arranged a viewing for an property no issue as you’d expect, also was made aware that to let this property you’d need to be in full time work and earning 25k plus a year, again no problem as I tick both boxes, turned up to the viewing to a man in his “basically” PJs which instantly told me what I was about to experience... anyway as we enter and stand waiting 3/6 flats are playing extremely loud music, and clearly as it’s a Monday midday the chances of them being employed as requested was very low, RED FLAGS for me here, we enter the property to a tenet washing his pots and going about his day. Again this is shocking and doesn’t allow viewers the peace and space they need to view as they feel uncomfortable, the flat was also disgusting, he was unemployed and clearly not earning the required 25k, when asked if the property would be renovated or at min fully decorated and re carpet we was told probably not lol

Taking a viewing to a property while the renting was home was a big mistake for them and also the property manager dressed like he was at home on a Sunday after noon was a no go for me

I would personally stay away from this company it screams red flags and poor service once in the property

I have been a landlord with Platinum Estates for over 10 years. They have managed a mixture of properties for me including apartments and houses to a brilliant standard. They only deal with professional and reliable tenants so none of my properties have ever suffered any damage, late rent etc.
Keep up the good work guys! X

If I could give this review a star lower than 0 I would. Do not chose platinum estates unless you would like to be completely ripped off, treated like the faeces on their shoe, ignored to high heavens and have your money with held. They don’t respond to any concerns, to any emails, they never ring you back when you need to report something or have something fixed. Instead they completely rip you off and threaten you. They allowed new tenants to move into our property (which is fine of course because we were vacating) they took the new tenants deposit and rent and still charged us a full months rent. So we basically paid for other people to live in the house we were still legally renting. We still haven’t had a refund yet of the week that new tenants moved in. Avoid avoid avoid avoid. I mean this very sincerely, as the stress of dealing with these completely ignorant people has been overwhelming. I can’t wait to be done with them once we receive our refund. If we ever do. If you don’t believe anything you read online, please believe me when I say, be careful if you have to chose this agency but if you have a choice, avoid avoid avoid!!

The worst estate we never phase in UK so far they do everything online. But they never respond to emails which we expected and threaten customers.

We live abroad and, during our absence, have had our property in Mickleover managed by Platinum Estates for the last four years. They rent quickly and efficiently and our overall experience with them has been very positive. They take care of us on a friendly, personal basis, and we are very pleased with their service. We would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a professional service at competitive rates
