Charged for item I never received; customer service appalling

Playmobil charged me for an item that they didn’t ship, although it is indicated on the packing list. I ordered hundreds of dollars from them so I have no reason to be lying about not receiving one relatively small item that only goes with other things I bought. When I called, I was told that only a supervisor could help me with this issue and that it would be several days before one was in the office again (?!). I sent an email and received (after 2 days) a rude, dismissive email claiming that their failure to pack the item in the box was my fault because it was “outside their return window.” They did not care about the extenuating circumstances which I clearly explained to them as the reason I did not unpack the whole box immediately. I say charging someone for an item that you don’t provide is theft and fraud.

Huge mistake!

I was very disappointed in the quality and the fact that they require almost 100% assembly. Unfortunately, I bought 5 items and for Christmas and still haven't had time to put them together. Even the instructions are crap. They aren't made well at all - I expect them to be broken soon after assembly.

Do NOT order from Playmobil USA

Do NOT order from Playmobil USA! I have been trying for a month to get a refund for an order that they double charged me for. They are impossible to get a hold of by phone and incompetent by email. I finally had to file a dispute with my credit card. The items I ordered that were carded arrived unglued and they would not make that right. Terrible customer service. I will never order from them again. Buyer beware!

TERRIBLE customer service

I had an extreamly bad experience with Playmobil. I ordered a large amount of merchandise from Playmobil online. When I got my order, I decided it wasn’t what I wanted so I wanted to return it. I called customer service who told me (very rudely) that they would send me a return authorization through my email. They then told me that if my order did not get to them by the end of the month that I would not be refunded until the end of the following month( 6 weeks away).
It took 6 DAYS for them to email me the return authorization papers. I was told to take my product to the local UPS store to be shipped back. I went in only to find out returnshipping was $54.00!!!! WHAT?!?!?! So I called Playmobil and they again very rudely told me that I was basically out of luck. I am very frustrated that I had to spend more than half of what I paid for my merchandise to have it returned. This is very poor customer service by the company. I will NEVER shop with Playmobil again!!!!!

Bad Customer Service, No communication

I have to say that even if I am a big fan of Playmobil, the customer care has been very bad and I don’t believe I will be ordering directly from their website ever again. They charge the full amount upon ordering the items (which makes sense) but if something is missing when you receive your order, you are in for a ride.
1. Upon receiving my order I had called them to let them know one item was missing. The person checked with the warehouse and told me “Yeah we are out of stock”... We only refund on fridays so you should get it within 1 or 2 weeks. Here I have to say that it was a very bad communication. They never informed me one item was missing, and I had to pro-actively contact them to request a refund.
2. A month later, I had not received any news so I emailed them and they told me that I would receive it within 1 or 2 weeks
3. I escalated a claim via Paypal as they still have not been able to process my refund, apologize for the poor experience or do anything at all.
If they are not capable of doing direct business, just sell via resellers...

I must say that EVERYTIME I call to make an order, your Sales Associate HEATHER is absolutely delightful to order from. She is always polite and helpful. Her customer service is OUTSTANDING❣️
