Decent food but damn the price is a bit…

Decent food but damn the price is a bit insane for the amount of food you get, I went to the Detroit location for a quick bite while visiting the area. It is something pretty insane like 15$ per pound of food, and they also include the container weight which easily adds another 0.1 pounds to the weight.

The food is definitely home cooked quality and pretty decent, but the pricing is a bit of a scam.

High priced flavorless pie

Bought one of their over priced pies by Achatz, now none as the pie collective, and I thought it was blueberry but it was actually the no flavor gel pie. Even the crust was tasteless. So much for rebranding. Would not buy desert there because of excessive mark-up

People ask for your receipt!!

I went to plum market on maple rd and lasher.
First I didn't have my receipt, so the RUDE employee said she'd pull my account by my phone number. After she looked it over, she told me I bought the plant ($19.99) from Orchard Lake store and said I paid $9.99 for it. I told her no I bought it here. She should have called me a liar because that the look her and three other employees gave me. I spend a lot of money at your store. I used to buy sashimi, crab claws ($54.99 a pound) I used to shop every other day sometimes everyday for sashimi. If you check your records you'll see you used to sale a lot but now, I will take my business to local grocery stores. Busch market, Heartland, and eastern market.. So people make sure you get a receipt!!

Time to take a break from the Plum

Meh. I go here because I can get things I can’t get at Whole Foods, my regular supermarket, or Trader Joe’s. They are extremely overpriced. Even more than Whole Foods. I have to make sure I check expiration dates because I have gotten expired meat, cheese, and even stuff in the frozen section. Most of the time the staff is friendly and helpful, and other times (like today) certain employees seem annoyed that you are asking for help. It’s just so inconsistent. I am aware that some of the shoppers can be entitled and unaware of life outside their bubble. Believe me, I’ve encountered them as I shop at this particular Plum. I think that’s what makes some of the folks who work at Plum bitter towards everyone who shops there. I may have to take a break from Plum Market for awhile.
