I think it was really impressive experience that you can play poker in play money. In a real money game play, the interface is clean and simple, sometimes it is too fast because it’s online poker game, it is alright to be play in high pressure. So thrilling experience on Zoom (NLHE) (PLO) & loved tournament games. Inspired gambling experience. Unexpected delight. Surly play again! Recommend!

I have been with PokerStars for years without trouble until a couple of weeks ago when I actually won a large sum on one of the fruit machines.
I tried to withdraw my winnings which are £10000 and only £470 came out. When I looked the rest is showing as pending. I contacted customer service and was told that my account needed to be verified by showing then proof of address and photo identification. I had lost my id so I applied for a replacement and waited for it to arrive. I was already annoyed that they are happy to take my money when I lose but now need id when I win but I went along with it.
Yesterday my id arrived so straight away i went on and went it over. Was informed that my id name didn’t match what was on my account and my address was wrong. I used a shortened version of my name which I explained and I had forgotten to change my address but was told that after a brief look at it by security that they where happy with my explanation and my account was verified. Still no money arrived. I contacted them and was told that my bank statement thag had been sent had flagged as altered and could I send another. I did that and it was accepted. Still no money. Contacted then again and they said there was a security issue and they can’t tell me what it is. This went on for a while but again I had to wait. Next thing I get an email saying my account is restricted because of my bank balanace on my proof of address being low. I didn’t send it for them to look through it was for proof of address so was annoyed tha it had been used in that way. Told them that once my funds have been paid to me they can close my account anyway so there should be no issue with welfare. They still would not pay but was told that the case should be over soon and money paid. I went to bed unhappy but hopeful thag money would be in my account when I woke up. I awake this morning and my account is closed and there is no money and it is being investigated for fraud. Now I can’t even see my account.

I have used the same bank since I had the account and won and lost with no problems although never had a massive win like this. Now they are doing everything they can to stop me getting my winnings. I was under the impression that once I had my id they would pay me straight away and have let my bills slide and bought some things that I wouldn’t normally buy without thw knowledge that this money is coming. It has left me stressed beyond belief and now I cannot even easily contact them because my account is closed. I am at my wits end. I question how legal it is what they are doing and don’t know how to escalate this.

Avoid them at all costs. I still don’t know if I will even get my money but even if I do what should be a happy occasion with more money tha I have ever had at once has been spoiled. I’ll keep you posted on whether I ever manage to get this money.

I have been on poker stars for over 10 years now...whenever I have an issue it gets taken care of quickly and im always quite happy with the outcome ..no im not a bot and i understand some people have issues regularly that dont get rectified but i cant complain..thank you poker stars!

Not letting me withdraw my money

I am having trouble with the account verification process. I have provided the necessary government-issued documents, but the process is taking longer than expected without any clear status updates.
