Polar Blast were recommended to us by another satisfied customer, and we are so glad to have followed this suggestion. Our roof was absolutely covered in closed cell spray foam insulation - it must have been there for at least 15 years, installed by the previous owner. We had a few roofers coming in, all advising that the only option was a new roof (!) When we arranged an inspection with Lucas from Polar Blast, he was very helpful, offered friendly, professional advice and showed us examples of previous work so we arranged the removal. A few weeks later and all of the foam has been cleared; the team were on time, the work was carried out extremely efficiently within a day and although the only roof access was through our bedroom, all furniture was secured and once works were finished they have cleaned up all the dust and debris so well, you would never know they were there! Brilliant service from start to finish, i cannot recommend enough!

The company was a pleasure to deal with in removing foam insulation from our loft space (which I would, of course, happily have done without). Polar blast removed the spray foam from our loft, Lucas came to look at the job and was very respectful and honest about what needed to be done, he sent 2 men (part of the team) to remove spray foam and I can't recommend these two enough they worked none stop from 8am and finished at 8pm, they were very professional and respectful, Thank you both you really do deserve a bonus.

Live a couple of doors away from where this company were doing work, had no pre warning from neighbour or company that work would be carried out. On a very hot day during a heatwave, had windows open as i have a very small baby, the noise level was atrocious, and due to the no pre warning, we had dust covered all over our car parked at the front, and dust coming through into the house, it resulted it me having to close all my windows, and leave my house with my baby as it was not safe for him. These workers wearing masks and ear defenders, clearly not a safe environment to be working in but happy to not inform us of this, putting us at risk. Walked past neighbours house yesterday and front window is smashed, word on the street is this company crashed the machine into the window 😱. Husband was shocked as ice blasting is meant to cause no mess, it’s meant to freeze and break off? crazy.

No consideration for neighbouring property the noise is deafening they wear ear protection we don’t they have oxygen masks for the dust we don’t they may do a good job but they need to consider protection for neighbouring property and people

From the first contact with the director, our dealings with Polarblast have been first class. On initial enquiry for removal of spray foam, he visited to inspect and gave us an appraisal and initial costing. He subsequently sent a written quote that we found very acceptable compared to other quotes that we had received.
His team arrived promptly at the time and date arranged and completed the work expertly and pleasantly, including complete removal and disposal of the foam. In addition this involved efficient tidying up on the landing and stairs.

Like so many others have found we too discovered the spray foam roof insulation used in our late uncle's property meant was it unmortgageable.
After getting several quotes we settled on the one from Lucas at Polarblast.
Why did we choose him over the others? well for several reasons , firstly he didn't scare us into thinking it was going to cost us thousands and some parts of the roof may need replacing due to the damage caused by the foam.
He assured us there was no upfront payments , in other words we paid after the job was complete and we were happy with the work.
We advised Lucas we didn't live nearby and he arranged everything so we didn't need to travel back & forward to the property till all work was completed.
His team came in and the work was complete after 2 days.
These guys must have worked like trojans , when we returned to the property it had been left clean and tidy .
Lucas went over and above by helping us sort out some other issues we asked for his help with, which I must note were not really in his remit, however being
the the kind and helpful soul Lucas is, he sorted it out for which we are so grateful.
Lucas is brilliant at keeping in touch and sent updates & photos of the work.
If you want a trustworthy reliable and hardworking company then we would not hesitate in highly recommending Lucas and his team to anyone who needs spray foam loft insulation removed at a reasonable cost and minimum disruption.

We had a house sale fall though due to loft foam insulation, which was a major blow and a source of significant anxiety. We were given Lucas's details as a recommendation, and from the initial contact he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. After inspecting our lofts he detailed how his company could safely remove the foam. The 2 guys who removed the foam turned up on time (8am!) and worked through each day until very late. Saying they were hard working really does not do justice to their work ethic. They were also extremely helpful and polite. They were a pleasure to have in our home. They did an excellent job in removing the foam and then laying extra knauf roll insulation to ensure our home is still well insulated. If you are reading this and have loft foam insulation, I strongly recommend the services of Polarblast.

Brilliant company making what was potentially a worrying experience, getting spray foam removed in order to sell our property. Lucas is such a nice, friendly man who got back to me straight away then came out to do a survey where he explained the procedure and gave a very competitive quote.

Marc) arrived at the specified time after a long journey and got straight on with the job, worked hard and finished the job sooner than expected, leaving everything clean and tidy.

Can't recommend enough! Removed spray foam from our loft. The two employees worked so hard from 8 am until about 6 pm over three days. They then installed Kauf loft insulation (a bit like rockwool). Not a mark found on our newly decorated hall stairs and landing as they were so careful and respectful. I'd have no hesitation in passing their name on to others.

From start to finish this company were helpful, informative and very friendly. The work done was carried out professionally to a high standard and I was kept up to date with the process. I would highly recommend them.
