We believe cruising should be about far more than simply moving from one port to another. Kasey was excellent in helping make all the arrangements as well as keeping in touch to ensure everything was ok. The app used by Polar Routes was also extremely professional and useful.
I can highly recommend both Polar Routes and Kasey and certainly intend to use them for future expeditions.

Lucy at Polar Routes organised our trip with Aurora Expeditions to Antarctica with a stop off in Buenos Aires for a few days beforehand. From our initial phone call until our return Lucy was so knowledgeable and able to help us make informed decisions in choosing our tour operator and itinerary.
The app was full of easy to access information both directly relating to our trip and background information on Antarctica - our grandson really appreciated the section on Antarctic wildlife!
One of our flights was delayed on our return resulting in a missed connection and we received a text from Polar Routes before we had left the airport offering support and help.
We cannot praise Lucy and Polar Routes highly enough and will certainly use them again when we head to the Arctic! Thank you!

I took my husband on a special trip to the arctic circle to celebrate a ‘big’ birthday. It was brilliant! We joined the Swan Hellenic expedition ship SH Vega at Longyearbyen in Svalbard and took the ‘Exploring Svalbard’ cruise around the Svalbard archipelago. We saw polar bears, walruses, arctic foxes, herds of reindeer( including babies) and lots of birds. We did some great walks , accompanied by knowledgeable guides ( carrying rifles in case of bears). We also took zodiac cruises on zodiac power boats as used by the military and saw icebergs and glaciers . The scenery was wonderful. I want to give a special shout out to Lucy Yeoman at Polar Routes who put the trip together for us. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I have used Latin Routes , Polar Routes’ sister company, for several trips to South America. Judging by our marvellous trip to Svalbard, Polar Routes are every bit as good.

We used Polar Routes for the second time to book a Hurtigruten Cruise to the Arctic. The team, in particular Kasey Green were extremely good in helping with bookings and advice. The App is good for keeping track of everything. We would highly recommend them.

We approached Polar Routes by chance via an Internet search. Their Elite Travel Specialist Kasey got in touch straight away and discussed with us all sorts of options and costings for a trip across The North West Passage, over several weeks.
Kasey was very knowledgeable, patient and listened to our possible plans and ideas making suggestions and advising us every step of planning the trip. The trip eventually evolved after many changes and alterations depending on costings and time away from home.
She advised us on insurance products, what clothes would be needed, choices of cabin etc. Her decisions on all aspects of the planning were “spot on.” Including accommodation before the trip.
If Kasey could not answer a question she emailed the travel company and got back to us very quickly with the answer.
We did not fully appreciate Kasey's expertise, care and attention to detail till we were on board the ship and hearing some horror stories of travellers who had used other Travel Agents. We were so lucky to have worked with Kasey to make our bucket list trip become a reality. I would not hesitate to recommend Polar Routes and especially Kasey to help plan a very special trip.
Thank you Polar Routes and especially Kasey, you made a dream come true.

Having just returned from the most amazing trip around Svalbard on board swan Hellenic's SH Vega, I want to say how amazing my holiday advisor and planner, Kasey at Polar Routes was. A true professional. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she came up with the most memorable trip to celebrate my special birthday. everything from the flights to the hotels to the ship was perfect.
On board the staff and crew and the expedition staff were amazing, we even got to see a polar bear who swam up to the ship and put on a show. Wow-Wow-wow.
The trips to shore were well organised, the food on board was brilliant with a great choice each day, the cabins were clean and the bed amazingly comfortable.
Everything had been thought of including binoculars, backpack, water-bottles and a fabulous coat which you got to keep.
All in all I would recommend this trip, with this company, organised through Polar routes to anyone wishing to see Svalbard. Fabulous.

I recently booked a trip to the High Arctic with Polar Routes. I was assigned my own travel specialist, Kasry Green.
The p,anni g of the trip was not initially straight forward as I wanted to change my pre cruise arrival date and the flight times were tricky to allow me to fly home to Manchester. I was travelling solo for the first time so I was a little apprehensive.
I need not have worried.
Kasey planned and booked everything for me. My trip was uneventful in every way.
I had the most amazing holiday.
Polar Routes send out a .I know to their app which I have to say was absolutely brilliant. The information within the app included all my travel documents and vouchers, day to day itinery, up to date flight and weather information and points of interest.
Everything in one place.
Thanks a million to Kasey Green and Polar Routes

I recently had a wonderful expedition to Svalbard with Polar Routes, and our experience was made truly memorable thanks to our travel specialist Kasey Green. Everything went well, and I truly appreciate the patience and assistance provided in addressing our unpredictable needs.
Due to my sister´s inability to travel (her son fell ill), we had to change our travel plans very close to the trip—less than two months out. Despite the challenges, the travel agent was incredibly helpful. They managed last-minute changes, including the names of the travelers, with remarkable diligence and kindness.
The agent's support and flexibility ensured that everything was handled smoothly, and we could enjoy our trip without any additional stress. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and empathetic travel specialist.

Picking a trip online was a daunting experience. Once I found Polar Routes and Kasey Green, it was a snap. I sent Kasey a long list of "wants" for my perfect trip, and she found the one that met all of my needs. After booking, she and the team stayed in contact and answered all of my MANY questions, right up to when I left. This was my first expedition trip, and it was a bit overwhelming, but the Polar Routes team made sure everything was taken care of it and the trip went off without a hitch!

I have just returned from an Iceland and Arctic cruise with Aurora that was arranged for me by Lucy Yeoman of Polar Routes. Her help, support, patience and indeed massive knowledge and experience were both crucial and superb with the consequence that I had a really superb adventure with all aspects of the journey - that took some tiime to arrange owing the complexity of it - went without a hitch and just as Lucy had arranged.
The expedition cruise was also superb - only slight downer was horrendous weather in the Straights of Denmark (cannot blame anyone for that!!) but even so the crew on the Sylvia Earle were excellent and looked after our every need.
I shall certainly use Polar Routes again and have no hesitation in recommending them to future Polar passengers.

Our trip to Antarctica was a once in a lifetime experience so having the right advice and guidance from Kasey Green at Polar Routes made for an excellent trip. Where we were affected by an airline strike in Argentina, Kasey managed the itinerary which gave us an extra day to explore Patagonia National Park. It’s so important when you embark on a trip like this that you have an agent to manage those stressful moments. Well done Kasey, a job well done. Thank you.

The Intrepid team was awesome, in particular Stephi Walker. Beautiful icebergs, whales, penguins and seals kept a permanent grin on all our faces. Not to mention the mind blowing polar plunge and a barbeque while going through the lemaire channel at sunset. Each day was filled with optional scientific lectures (still can't believe how many amazing experts for each topic were part of the crew). There was even a special wale biopsy program by the WWF. Watching the captain and team navigate through ice with a front row seat on the bridge was simply joy. They food, OMG, the food...apparently the weight at the start of the ship was rightly moved from canteen to tummy. Finally, the people ...200 passengers and a crew of over 100 together for 10days on a lovely ship. This was all made possible by Lucy at Polar routes. BIG THANK YOU!

I lived my dream of going to Antarctica, but was surprised in the variety of monocromal colours and the the lack of silence with the carving of the glaciers, moving of the ice and the communication of the whales.
The Greg Mortimer was stable and quiet.
The organisation by Polar Routes and Aurora Expeditions was brilliant. Keeping us updated all the way. Getting us there, moving the guests around the boat to be able to get into the zodiacs and to land , changing route to accommodate the change in the polar climate and all staff on the ship being helpful , friendly and welcoming . I had a wonderful experience of seeing pods of orca, colonies of penguins, many humpback whales , fur seals and of course my close encounter with a red eyed leopard seal while paddling in an inflatable kayak

We had a fantastic trip to Antarctic between Feb 16-March 2nd this year. The trip was organised by Polar Routes. The team of Polar Routes handled the booking very precisely and professionally. Their partner in Argentina acted very swiftly and effectively once our return flight from Ushuaia to Buenos Aries was cancelled due to airline strike. They quickly rebooked our flights and related hotels over night for 6 of us. Recommended to anyone who is thinking to book your once in a life time trip to Antarctic. Thanks James for his professionalism and his knowledge for such expedition trip.

From our very first contact Lucy was extremely helpful in providing all of the details that we required to undertake what was for us a probable once in a lifetime trip to Antarctica. We spoke with several providers and we felt that she had a genuine interst in us getting the right trip for us. She was always available to answer our sometimes tiny questions with great knowledge of Swan Hellenic and the expedition cruise that we took (in Shackletons footsteps). She was also very helpful in booking hotels and transfers pre and post journey. We would not hesitate to highly recommend Polar Routes in general, and Lucy in particular to anyone considering an Anatarctic journey.
