Antarctic Cruise Dec 2021
My wife and I went on an Antarctic Cruise in MS Seaventure as a big birthday present to each other.
The experience exceeded our expectations at every turn.The ship is well designed and maintained. The number of staff was about the same as the passengers. The cabin was very comfortable with views to stunning scenery. The hotel staff were cheerful and very helpful. The food was superb and abundant with 5 star restaurant service. The expedition team gave knowledgeable talks on a variety of relevant topics. We were taken off the ship at every oportunity to visit magnificent penguin rookeries, or simply potter about in beatiful sheltered bays where we saw whales seals and many birds. The citizen science programme was undertaken with great enthusiasm and made fun. We felt safe and cared for throughout especially dealing with the covid 19 threat.One of the best holidays of our lifetime
