police Heerlen Limburg

I have to wait 2 weeks before I can file a report for leaving the scene of an accident, and they do everything they can to prevent this report from being accepted; they tell lie after lie and act surprised that people resolve things themselves, with all the consequences that entails.

Nothing but a gang of incompetents

Just like the rest of the comments here suggest, the Dutch police are nothing but a gang of lazy incompetents with flashy uniforms. They are not interested in protecting it's citizens and in my two experiences of dealing with them regarding two separate incidents where I was the victim they don't give a crap about protecting people.

A fart in a space suit has more use than this useless gang!

Useless

Twice i reported assault (physical and sexual) with all the personal info about who did it, they did absolutely nothing.
Once i called them after the physical assault, they came to the address and advised me not to press charges against the man. When i went into the station to report him for damages, they closed the case after doing absolutely nothing (they had the name, address, photo evidence). They said i dont have enough evidence because i should have recorded it happening. The fact that this man also illegally sublets two properties was also ignored.

When i reported a guy sexually assaulting me, they told me "i cannot report someone just because they hurt my feelings." I had the name, address, number, iban, they said they cannot do anything.

But of course if you dare to cross the road not on zebra, or don't throw the trash properly they will be the first there to punish this unacceptable behaviour.

Ineffective

They said that they would not investigate my case I filed (theft and vandalism) because they considered it a low priority. I am very upset at how ineffective they are.

They come to judge a neighbour from hvo…

They come to judge a neighbour from hvo querido and every time, without giving me any feedback or response, began to get friends with him. The neighbour i talk about is an open loud mouth, screaming, bringing many men and women inside secretly and then gets high on weed and is talking until 4 am in the morning in a house which is completely wooden. Their work: just patrol outside. Inside, whatever noise he makes, they don't care. I think the neighbour must have given them a very good quantity of weed.

Lost trust in your justice system!

What is the police even doing?

Another day, another crime. Here we are again, with another unjustified assault in Amsterdam, which the Police seem to ignore and do nothing about.

This city has become the laughingstock of the world. Once considered a progressive, safe, and reliable city, Amsterdam has now become worse than New York in the late 1980s!

This is not the first time this has happened to me or my partner. First of all, reporting a crime, which is a basic human right, has become so difficult to do that the first available appointment with the Police is in one month... really? One month to report a crime?
Secondly, the Police won't do anything about it. NOTHING. Reports and incidents go unheard and uninvestigated, allowing criminals to get away with their actions. It's a vicious cycle where criminals can continue committing crimes because they won't be prosecuted...

Where is all our tax money going?

I'm not surprised at all that people are starting to carry around self-defense weapons.

Good luck, everyone.

The worst police in the world

The worst police in the world! I wanted to report a theft, they just don't care. If you are not a Dutch - you are not a person who has to be protected for them. These people are without brains, who can do NOTHING!

I wrote that they have to check the video surveillance cameras on the train station where a theft happened - IN FRONT of the camera - they just don't care. "Lack of information" - that's all they can say.

"foreigner"

In 15 years, every time I meet Nederlands Police. They help me. Every single time. once for example, because I take brother Honda 1991
not tank any gasoline. and next to central station... at 17:00
car stop. Police came in 2 min. ask me do the wheels spinning. then push me out of road. Tell me it was stupid of me. and drove away...

Other time crazy guy attack me because of road rage. Police at horses help me. and there was so many other, times

But why i'm writing this:

today I felt sad and angry for self. went out to seat
next to canal at ex favorite bench. When I saw them coming. I felt is last what I needed now.
but they.
instead be annoying.
Ask em I ok?
And they make me laugh by demanding to smile
I felt better and after while
went home

who train them for that?

Ps: next person willing to make bad comment about Police in this country. Please visit Poland.
And let Polish Police to stop for "controle".
You. the "foreigner"

Is Netherlands police corrupted? You judge! When I was passing Gemente of Haarlem…

When I was passing Gemente of Haarlem with my bicycle on bicycle path on Sunday afternoon, I noticed many broken beer bottle glasses pieces on the path. I drove around it and pulled over. I walked back and started collecting the dangerous sharp broken glasses and setting aside. All of a sudden, I heard yelling in Dutch language and a Dutch drunk guy (maybe homeless) kicked those pieces back on the bicycle path and sidewalk. I continued removing them, but this time, he crossed the social distance and started cursing in English: Get the f.. out of my country. I yelled back: Get the hell out of my face you piece of sh…. He stepped back by kicking my bicycle. I was going to leave, he splashed beer on my Face and got to the position to throw the bottle to my face. I immediately got off of my bicycle and walked toward him and yelled at him from top of lungs: put the f… it down you punk. He smashed it on the ground and became disarmed. He started cursing again.at this time 2 restautant security people arrived and removed him from bicycle path. Then I left. Netherlands police is not capable or doesn’t want to even clean its front yard which is Gemente. Therefore the definitely are unable to provide safety to residential area anywhere in this country for some reasons. I pay tax for what?? Haa? You, police can’t do your basic task in the daytime, it will be horrible when it gets dark. What happens if one of these punks attack an 18 years old beautiful girl and trying to rape her at nighttime? Will be any police to protect her? I don’t think so.
This punk was very confident that cops can’t/ don’t touch him and he can harass people however he wants to at anytime. It is obvious that police of Netherlands has nobody behind its wheel or something. But For getting money from car drivers, they are everywhere. For safety and protection, they are nowhere.

We were a victim of racist attack Police refused to write report.

We were a victim of racist attack my wife got injuries on neck, hand and shoulder, we couldnt note down the racist scooter guy's number plate who deliberately drove into my wife and pushed her from the bike.
Police refused to register Angifte (report) and do anything. Really a disgrace to society where vulnerable people specially women who are victim of racists attack are not protected.

I called the police in Amsterdam…

I called the police in Amsterdam because my neighbors were having a massive party. At 00.00 they told me they were gonna send someone to help us. Nobody showed up. I called again at 00:40 to see if they were around. They told me “we are on our way”. 1:30 police still not here. They never came at the end. Extremely dissapointing.
