I used Poll-Maker.com and was lured in…

I used Poll-Maker.com and was lured in by their “free trial” offer. They never sent any warnings or reminders that the service was renewing, so I completely forgot the service was active. I had not used it in over a year and had zero correspondence with them in that time. Then I got hit with a $400 + charge on my credit card, even though I never used the site beyond trying the trial.

When I asked for a refund, they stopped communicating. It feels like a bait-and-switch: free trial → out of sight → surprise charge → no refund. If you try this service, keep CLOSE tabs on your payment info and calendar reminders—there’s little to zero transparency about when you’ll actually be billed.
