I have an education so please excuse me but their place from Brean Sand is just a dumphole. Poop on the windows, dirt everywhere, small, noisy, everything you can imagine in a very bad way. I paid for 4 nights and stay only 2 and run from that place. No sheets for the beds, pillows or blankets and if you are more than 2 people you have to sleep on a very hard sofa, you will break your back. You also have to pay for electricity separate, they don't tell you that. The beach is not a proper beach, is just mud for 0.3-4 miles from the sand until you rich the water. No access to the beach for disabled people in that area, nowhere there actually. In the games area, all claw machines are rigged, you cannot win, no matter how hard you try. All games are designed to lose. I end up buying an among us plush for my son because it was impossible to win one. Dumphole in any possible way!

Family of 4. We arrived on site at Pontins southport at 4:45 went to reception to retrieve bedding for our chalet. Parked the car up and walked towards the chalet to be greeted by rotting windows and a big hole in the front door. Opened the door to be hit with the potent smell of cannabis. I felt sick! The floor was as sticky as a night clubs dance floor when drinks been spilt everywhere. The bedroom door had another hole in it. Clearly been hit by something. The bathroom was manky and the chalet was utterly disgusting putting it politely. I turned to my partner and said we are leaving. I parked the car up at reception at 5:05 it was closed. I was advised to go speak to the manger at the front gate. I walked towards him and before I had even reached him he said " your not happy are you?" I advised him we were leaving and would like a refund. He advised me he wasn't authorised to do this and gave me an email address. I emailed them straight away. I received an automated reply asking for booking details. I have sent all the details to them but had no correspondence since this. We had to pay for another hotel as there was no way we as a family were stopping here. We left site at 5:15. 30 minutes was enough. Do yourself a favour and stay clear of this place I wouldn't even give it 1 star!

Absolute filthy hole. Don’t waste your money. Stinking filthy accommodation dirty linen and mattresses. If you complain they just tell you they are fully booked and cannot give alternative accommodation.
Food is diabolical. Out of a 3 night stay we came home 250 miles after 2 days.
Oh and by the way !! If you call them they have the cheek to charge 13p a minute while you hang on the phone.
To sum up .. if you enjoy the smell of mould,stained mattresses, dirty broken furniture and awful food ? This is the place for you.

A utter disgrace!!! Vile dirty and should be pulled down!!
On arrival to our apartment we were greeted with a smashed door.. Once inside it smelt horrendous.. Sofa bed smashed wall floors doors windows disgusting absolutely filthy.. Also bathroom and toliet and kitchen were the same.. Complained sent cleaners up to recleaned.. . It was joke still had to clean up after them.. Lasted 2days before I couldn't take anymore of foul mouthed neighbours fighting and letting there kids run about in early hrs of morning.. Should be ashamed to even advertise this place! After being in a pandemic the first thing you would expect from a place like this is hygiene and cleanliness.. No you won't get that here.. Question for Pontins!!! Would you let your family and friends stay in this hell hole???
No I don't think so.. Never ever will I set foot in this place or any other pontins again.

Check in a lot quicker than last year.

Booked 2 chalets in the Club Accommodation. Nothing to complain about in both.

Pool water was a bit cool. With the changeing rooms out of order it was a bit embarrassing having to get dressed at the side of the pool.

Will be booking for a future holiday.

I wish I could give negative stars for pakefield-holiday-village. The place is terrible. Rooms are filthy with outdated broken furnishings, also I had no bedding and towels on checking inn. My bathroom was in terrible state when I checked in...hair everywhere. And on the 2nd day my shower lost pressure and flush. Paper thin walls with noisy neighbours.

Pakefield is a joke my autistic son refused to stay there and was panicking to get out and go home so we left just past midnight as he was in a state the duty manager told me to leave the key in the room and we should contact reception the next day so I did and now they are saying we cannot get a refund because we didn't fill out a form wich I was not told about so I will be taking this further AVOID the place its so dirty and the rooms are terrible

Camber sands pontins doesn’t even deserve 1 star. The place is a total disgrace. Chalets awful and no way cleaned properly and beds uncomfortable..broken glass outside our chalet and even tho reported on our 1st night took 3 days to clear. Hardly any stock in onsite shop..no ice or drink trays loos smelly and unclean…we was due to stay a week but left after 3 as so bad…so just DON’T DON’T

Think 1950’s council estate, minus the graffiti! Queued over 45 minutes to book in. The 1 bed apartment was, in one word, filthy. Shoes stuck to floor, place not even vacuumed since previous occupants. 1 duvet between 3 of us. 2 mugs, not enough cutlery. Bathroom adequate but dirty. Had to buy own bed linen as no one had told us to bring our own. Non closing windows, non closing doors.
However, entertainment was very good and the swimming pool is fabulous. Location to beach is also fab.

if i could leave no stars i would. went to brean sands, were were told 4pm check in but received an email saying our new arrival time is 12pm.... got there for around 1 and still couldnt collect keys til 4pm. the queue took 2hrs to go down so went food shopping first. got into the apartment at 5.30pm and we were absolutely disgusted. the first thing to hit us was the dank musty smell and overbearing heat in there which made if worse, the thick curtains had to be drawn to get any kind of privacy which made it worse, very claustrophobic, especially since myself an my mom suffer asthma. the living area was tiny nowhere near adequate for 5 people, one small lumpy sofabed to sit on. the kitchen appliances looked ready for scrapheap, stains all down oven door and in fridge, fridge was warm inside too and tiny, no good for the weeks worth of food we'd just bought. lino flooring disgusting and bubbled all along hallway. the double bed was so disgusting lumpy and springy , hard and stained!! we literally got in there and got straight back out an in the car home it was that bad! dirty,unhygenic like a prison cell! my kids were disappoined but no way could have slept in that bed for 1 night let alone 7 nights being 4mth preg with a toddler and my mom who suffers arthritis. currently awaiting to hear from customer complaints about a refund for over £350..... i would never step foot in any pontins ever again!!!
an update on 18th of aug: Pontins have refused to refund me ANYTHING because we handed the keys in and went home. They say we didnt give a chance for them to rectify it.... there was no way they could rectify anything, all "apartments" are exactly the same, run down, dirty, disgusting, unhygenic, falling apart hellholes.

Get what you paid for.

Pros, staff are friendly, few attractions on site, decent parks to visit drive, cheap holiday for term time.

Cons, dirty with old toast and crisps, doors banging in with or getting stuck shut. Noisy people of swearing, shouting, arguing (like worse part of your city/town).

Having just returned from Pontins Brean Sands. The chalet was adequate for what I paid. Must be one of the only holiday camps that does not charge a deposit or an overrated price. People complain of dirty and scruffy chalets this is only what other people leave if everybody just took a little time to clean the chalets as they left. We could all be enjoying affordable holidays.

I’m even sad I had to rate it one star, it’s below 0 stars. We went to Cambersands and it’s the most disgusting place on earth. This holiday park should be shut down with immediate effect. Our room looked like an underground prison cell from 1929. For the fact that these are designed for families with kids it should close down. A child can be sick and die from entering this park in the state that we saw it when we visited. We booked for 5 days and we left the following morning, it was my hubby that begged me to spend the night as it was too late for us to drive 3 hours back, we all slept in our clothes we couldn’t even change to night wear, we didn’t even brush the next morning and left at 7am!!! We dropped the keys back and complained the manager couldn’t do anything else other than saying sorry. The fridge in our room didn’t work, we called the maintenance and they said they will come when they can we waited till 1am no one came, all my cooked meals spoilt overnight we had nothing to eat. The curtain and window was broken and we were exposed to cold all night again no one came to fix this. There were cobwebs everywhere slim and dirty and smell all around. I waisted £150 and I am more than angry about this. I won’t even wish my enemy to sleep there. Please shut down the park immediately. Save lives please!!!! Especially for the little ones. The bacteria and germs are too much and will cause families to be sick and may even die!!!!

Went on holiday to pontins in camber sands Rye disgusting exsperiance , This has a no star rateing I'm so Disgusted how we got treated Travelled here on 6/08/21 with my daughter & three kids & eight month old baby the chalet was disgusting, dirty,diabolical & stunk of sick ,wasnt fit to stay in do not recommended this place to anyone went to reception to ask to change room told us no they don't have any more rooms,was going to call security on my daughter because she asked to see manager they sent security guard to move her from reception,my grandaughter & niece were there with her and they said it seemed like racist behaviour towards them this has been the worst exsperiance ever spoiling our kids holiday please none should go there there bloody disgusting ,told us we won't get another chalet they send a cleaner will come which is disgusting with all covid is going about , all we wanted was a refund & told us for us to get a refund we have to leave same night ,it was eleven o'clock at night & had to travell back home that late with kids who was so upset with disgusting exsperiance management & customer service was diabolical no people skills please none visit this disgusting place traumatising for all the kids spoiled there holiday bloody disgusting exsperiace ever🤮🤢😠

Me and my wife went to pontins sand bay loverly stay room clean tidy.entertainment good .food good choice for everyone maybe a few bowels of fresh fruit be nice.bar don't sell Carling that's a shame as we don't like carlsburg.nice views be Western super mare local on the open top bus .over all loverly break it's a shame that other pontins get bad reviews this place was pleasantly supprising x

I stayed between 23rd September to 04th October 2016, we had abuse from the neighbors, they smoked cannibis , tried to hit me and I'm disabled, banged on the walls all day and night , there was mould , dents , floors were filthy, utensils were discusting and we haven't been back since . Don't waste your time.

Not a shock me and my family booked we went three weeks back. On arrival we were made to line up outside in the car park for well over an hour to book in in 30 degree heat no shade , whilst staff stood under gazebo and had big fans to keep them cool no precaution taken for the welfare of there customers with out us they would t have a job , the to only find that one room was a three bedroom and one room was a one bed when we paid the extra to upgrade so again went to customer services and was told nothing we can do we are fully booked still to this day have not been given the refund for the upgrade inlaid to have a three bedroom , couldn’t be bothered to argue anymore as you get no help from the desk and there excuse is she is only 17 and dosent no the robes then they should have more exsperienced staff on the customer service desk this was only the start of are visit , continued to are rooms one was ok obvs needed a clean as you get what you pay for , but the three bedroom wow just wow hadn’t even been cleaned bins still full etc had to clean the whole room are selfs no plates cutlery etc still on day three no stuff was delivered to rooms we bought all paper stuff anyway ,
Are nightmare didn’t end my sister in law and her son woke up every morning itching didn’t no what it was thought could be heat then day three we noticed bugs on her little black things this was just after she woke on investigating further her room the bed was filled with black bugs mattress duvet etc to only find they were bed bugs you never normally see these things so must of been bad we went straight across to get someone not one person. Came to have look so me and my daughter decided to remove the mattress and bedding and with in seconds my 12 year old had bugs all on her we have plenty of video eveidence of this. Yet the manger of the resort failed in every way wouldn’t come and look as he said he didn’t want them on him and we were then told he would move room this was at 10.30 in the morning we were told to wait out side don’t return to the room as it need to be quarried to get pest control in he told us to go to the shop and buy are self a drink and wait in the benches outside we waited hours spoke to numerous staff and told nothing they can do as need to clean room it wasn’t till 4.30pm that afternoon they got another room lost a whole day of are holiday we were told to check are room make sure nothing left inside and do you no what the infested bedding was still on the balcony hours and hours later and still had bugs on that is how bad the infestation must of been my room was just over the way from in-laws room when they moved them with in moment staff moved the infested mattress back into the room and bedding with out doing anything have videos of them doing it and the pontins did not even get anyone in to clean this room or destroy the mattress after seeing the bug on video I know a budget holiday but come on they took my in laws clothes to wash as we said they could be infested and would be all in new rooM hour later they return the clothes saying they had been washed but they weren’t as some item had tags on and the tags were perfectly intact if they been washed no tag would be perfect clothes were missing , weeks on still have not had a resolution from pontins still no refund that I paid for upgrade yes cheap budget last min holiday but honestly never been treated so poorly , and the worst was seeing a little 6 year old boy nearly drown in there pool with the life guard. Didn’t no what to do another visitor had to save him parent we’re shouting a the young girl who was suppose to be a life guard but take it previous day she was on reception and behind the bar on the evening , she said I’m not trained in this area we are just rotated round to different jobs the lifeguard burst in to tears the poor girl what a responsibility to have that a hound boy nearly drowned and would have if it wasn’t for another parent you think your safe in a holiday resort pool when you see someone wearing a lifeguard uniform you believe your kids will be safe but not never exsperienced this I thought by law a pool in a resort had to have a qualified lifeguard I could go on , not to have a reply weeks on don’t no weather we ever will but someone need to do something for the safety of all the holidays makers going to pontins brean sands

Im recently registered as disabled with a rare condition that medics and i am still not fully understanding of. Which amongst other stuff causes alot of confusion and memory problems . I had paid for my accommodation but got a phone call two days before saying i needed to pay extra charges. Told me its not their job to chase the extra payments and they can just cancel the holiday with out letting me know. I paid for accommodation 90.80 including service charge and the call was to say i needed to pay an extra £42 services for challet charge and the rest on food amounting to £154 The staff in head office where rude and have no patience. There was no understanding. Its sad to think the fact i need a career but i booked children they couldnt see this confusion. I WOULDNT GO HERE ON THE BASIS OF THE HEAD OFFICE SO ILL TRAINED. I appreciate my illness has played a massive part in misunderstanding but the way i was spoken to i felt was unneeded. Holidays have been moved via sun bookings and i appreciate its down to the parks discretion pontins wasnt happy to do so and said if i dont pay the rest of the money today they are keeping the paid and the holiday will be cancelled. To be fair they need the money to put back into the head offices training. They had no patience no interest they chase pennies with this attitude.

The room was absolutely filthy. Cigarette ends on floor. Dirty foot prints in bath had to wipe your feet on way out stinking. Dirty hovel. Everything about it was a let down. Complained and the offered a half price break would not go there again if the paid me. Worst and dirtiest place ever stayed in. Never ever again.

We have just got back from here. We witnessed the cleaners walk into empty rooms that had just been vacated. The cleaners walked in was in there for 5 minutes and that's it! The holiday was cheap and for what you got was amazing. The only let down was the cleanliness of the rooms, public toilets all grass areas.

Also, we will be looking into sueing. It was raining and my daughter 3years was asleep in jer pushchair, we was on the top floor so my partner and I carried the pushchair down the METAL, WET SLIPPERY STAIRS, unfortunately my partner slipped at the top and him and my daughter went flipping down the whole of the stairs! My daughter is bruised and my partner hasn't gone I to work today as a result of his injuries!!

It is impractical for families as there is no buggy parks, no grips on the stairs it's just a mess
