Auto 2000 - Porsche Specialist Bedford Reviews 

I phoned Auto 2000 and asked if they could find a gearbox for my 944S2 they said yes and quoted a very fair price so I booked it in. When the job was done and I'd paid we went for a quick test drive and all seemed well. It was a couple of days before I was able to go for a proper run and discovered that the replacement box whined really badly above 5000 revs. I complained to Richard and he said to take it back in and leave it with them. They found another box and replaced the whining one and thoroughly checked it then informed me that the job was done. I went in, asked what I owed and was told nothing and indeed got an apology for earlier returning the car to me with a defect. Great service and a pleasure to deal with.

A recent problem with my 987 soft top took me to a local “dealer” who wanted £150 to diagnose the problem and indicated the repair could cost £800 to £4000. I contacted the guys at Auto 2000 who diagnosed the possible problem over the phone. After a 30 minute visit and £60 the repair was completed. Great service from experts! I would thoroughly recommend Auto 2000 and I will certainly continue to use them in the future.

Not only a fantastic Porsche technician and a very straight forward guy, Nick also services other cars. Auto 2000 sorted out a problem for me on a 928 many years ago after the main dealers wanted a fortune and talked to me like I was a rich fool (I am neither) and when I needed my other half's '89 205 GTI servicing I took it along to see Nick who didn't mind me watching him like a hawk. He did a fantastic job, was obviously passionate about cars other than Porsche and pointed out a couple of things that I had failed to notice. Highly recommend Nick and Auto 2000 for a great job at a price that is more than reasonable.

I have been using Auto2000 since 2012. Nick and his team are absolutely amazing, always had perfect service and quick solutions to any problems. Nick was instrumental in a project built, with amazing attention to detail. I would recommend this is the place to have your Porsche serviced and maintained from old to new models.

If Carlsberg owned a fleet of Porsche's they would use Auto 2000 to look after them. Great service, knowledge and understanding of everything automotive, they have looked after, serviced and repaired all of my cars since 2005 highly recommend.

Had my Boxster maintained by Nick at Auto 2000 for many years until I moved our of the area and I really miss him.
He knew his stuff but always talked me through the various options and what would be the best value, even alerting me to times when I could get parts cheaper myself (via Design911) and supply them for him to fit. And on top of all this service and advice, there was always the quirky little courtesy car 🚗!

Top rate work from the lads at Auto 2000, they were trusted with the restoration of my car and i cant be happier. Managed the job from start to finish, organising everything, including sourcing of some of the rarer parts.

Nick was very helpful and professional in everything he did I dropped the car off and then received a phone call when it was ready to be picked up.

The team looked after both my Porsche Boxsters when they came out of warranty and I found them courteous, thorough, fair and good value. One one occasion my soft top wasn’t working and I took it to the Porsche main dealer who wanted a fortune for supplying and fitting a whole new mechanism. The Auto 2000 replace a £1 spring in the button and it worked fine without any problems. This is what I mean about fair.

I got a recommendation from a friend to these guys after a terrible experience with a dealer in Towcester. Long story short I had issues with the roof on my 2005 Boxster closing correctly after paying £1081 to get it fixed at the Towcester centre.

I was told it’s an old car and really needs major components replacing within the roof as they had done the best they could do.

At this Porsche workshop, I had massive saving over main dealer prices with no compromise over level of expertise, minus of the snobbery from the Towcester centre service advisor.

Highly recommended.

A fair and helpful business,I have a Porsche Boxster 2.7 and find Nick very knowledgeable whenever I have any concerns.
We need these small independent service centres not just because they offer good value , much more than that you can actually speak to someone who knows how to help and no fancy service jargon or service plans to confuse things.
