I was so happy with my products at first. I used the beautiful purple backpack as my primary purse. One day one of the buckles just fell off, oddly while I was using the small handle to pick it up. I emailed the customer service number that had been sent with the purse originally multiple times and have still never gotten a response.

First of all my order was processed and shipped in a timely manner. When I received the item I purchased it was packaged carefully and the handbag I purchased is quality leather. My handbag was not only made well but the leather is top notch leather. I will use them in the future for sure for any leather goods I need to purchase. I DEFINITELY recommend this store for all your leather needs.

Poor customer service and return policy. They sent me a damaged purse and are charging me $25 to return it ($10 shipping &$15 return fee).

I like my Naomi bag however the terrible smell from it has permeated my house. Portland Leather suggested buying cedar sachets to get rid of the awful odor. And I am following their suggestion. If this does not alleviate the terrible smell I will sadly have to return the handbag. I hope it does not take forever to have my credit card charge back in my account.

I purchased multiple items online from Portland Leather Goods in the hope of replacing old pieces from Derek Alexander and Coach. The leather is overly thick for purses or handbags--it might be well suited to saddle bags. The workmanship is low quality. Returns are expensive and difficult. They do not have a customer service phone number. They have an inviting and well-deisigned website for awkward, heavy, shoddy products.

I’ve had two packages marked as delivered that were gone within seconds of checking. A quick search shows this is a widespread issue with OnTrac—tons of customers report the same thing.

Until Portland Leather switches to a reliable carrier, I won’t be placing another order. It’s disappointing to lose trust in a brand I really liked.

This shopping experience has been disappointing. I've been looking forward to the wallet that I purchased 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately I have yet to receive the product, I've submitted 2 complaints to the company and haven't heard back, there is no contact phone number to call and speak to someone. I can't even return the product until I receive it, overall a bad experience for a wallet I was excited to have.

Rigid return policy. Bought my wife a bag for her birthday a few weeks ago. I gave it to her this morning and her reaction was "this is the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my life". I tried to return it, but was 3 days past the return date. Company would not work with me. Actually suggested I give it to a family member or donate it. Resisted the urge to tell them where they can stick it and just decided instead that this was a $75 lesson: This brand is garbage, customer service is lousy, and the owner seems like a real prick, based on his self-adsorbed-ego-boosting social media posts.

I’ve been a long time customer and the quality has gone down in the past few years. I’ve had bags with bad stitching, corrosion on the hardware that stained the leather, dye that bled and stained numerous things including my car front passenger seat. One bag got water splashed on it and the dye completely bleached out. When you contact customer service it’s a headache and they usually don’t make it right. To return an item you have to pay return shipping so you lose money. They like to play the FOMO game to get people to buy their products. They also have a perpetual sell to make people think the bags are on sale when thats really just their regular price. They are decent bags for the price, but if you want a well made whole grain leather bag that will last years, I would go somewhere else. These bags are fast fashion, cheaply made, and have weird dimensions.

Bought a beautiful purse in May. It went great. This time I ordered 2 more purses as gifts, but never received a purchase confirmation or order number. After a few nervous emails, they contacted with all the info and now I can see the order online and track the shipment. They were very pleasant and I look forward to a buying from them again.

Updated: Portland Leather refunded my shipping fee and finally sent the item. It is of nice quality and I will try more things from them. Unfortunately, the product never arrived. At my first inquiry they said they'd look for it and get back with me. They never did. So I asked for a refund and they have ghosted me, not responded at all. $100 down the drain. Will report to my bank and see if I can get help. Wish I would have used PayPal cause I'd definitely get my money back. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Can I give this company a zero? No delivery, they promised to deliver again (they lied) and multiple emails to say I would get a refund. Do not order from this scam company. Pretty sure they load their reviews using AI.

While I do love the product they have a practice that I totally disagree with and have never seen any other company do.

I ordered a purse using my rewards + extra $$. When received it really wasn’t what I wanted. I returned the item and they credited my account the extra $$, but not the reward dollars. The was $70 in rewards. I have searched their website and could not find anywhere that it says this. I called and they just responded that rewards are not refunded. I earned those from all the purchases I have made.

I sent back the merchandise and they gave me a partial refund and the rest store credit which was for most of the amount. The amount of the order would have allowed for me to receive a full cash refund. The man I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and gaslighting me acting as if cash refunds dont exist and felt like abuse towards the customer. Don't trust this company when your sending back a refund, the item was brand new never used so no reason to deny my full cash refund. When I submit to receive a refund it stated I would get USD back not store credit.

The very first time I ordered from PLG, I was not thrilled with the color of the purse but I planned on keeping it, thinking that it was mostly my fault for not realizing how it would translate from the screen to in person, but I did email them to let them know I thought the color was different. To my surprise, they immediately offered me a replacement or a refund! I accepted the replacement & it was gorgeous! I have been hooked on the company & their products ever since. Their products are so well made, hold up well to my rough use, and they are beautiful! I am so glad I gave them a try after seeing them on Facebook!

Beautiful products, great company and community!

The first bag purchased from here was amazing. I expected the round cross body bag to be of equal quality. It was not. Wasted $20 on shipping and return shipping. Do not buy the circle crossbody. Leather is inferior and warped. Strap is placed in awkward position.

I bought a leather purse on December 4, 2020 and it is still in the best shape! It is durable, the leather hasn’t faded, and the zipper is indestructible! I have stuffed everything in this bag and it will be with me until the day I die :-)
