We booked our family holiday to Portugal early in January to secure good flights and accommodation. My daughter in law needed a visa and that was when the hassle commenced. Endless hours of logging on to book an appointment with VFS with either no appointments or the web site down. This went on for months with our trip in jeopardy. I contacted this service on 24th March feeling really anxious, my travel date was end of April and I wasn’t sure there’d be enough time to sort everything. They were incredibly reassuring from the start, confidently letting me know they could secure a VFS appointment before mid-April, which would give me sufficient time to receive my visa before I travelled.
