The angle is uncomfortable. My natural angle is about 45 degrees, the default wrist angle is too steep,

Not a fan. Being a vertical mouse does provide some relief due to the positioning of the wrist, but at the expense of being able to use the mouse with any precision. By being vertical instead of pressing the mouse button downwards you're pressing them sideways. This inevitably leads to the mouse slipping sideways resulting in mis-clicks. I feel this is made worse by the large size of the mouse with three full-size buttons (left, middle and right - in addition to scroll click). If the mouse was slightly smaller, without the large centre button I think it would be easier to control.

Too many buttons, in difficult places. The position of the right click means I often right click accidentally. Would rather have the middle button as the right click.
