For a start, I don't take kindly to being repeatedly nagged by a company to review them or a product of theirs, whether on TP or anyone else, and Posturite has been doing that to me. Doing that is inclined to skew the overall rating of the company, and normally I disregard such requests. However, let's start with obvious plus point (about the company, not the roll) — they dealt speedily with my order, and the roll arrived within a very few days. I've always had doubts about lumbar rolls, having had experience in the early 1990s of another brand, before I took on the Alexander Technique (late 1992), which latter made any sort of 'support' redundant for me, and saved me from potentialy crippling spinal issues for many years. In more recent years, despite the AT and my best efforts, a complex spinal curvature has crept up on me (I'm 84 now), which is nowadays wearing me out, and no doubt much brought-on by my long hours of sitting at my desktop PC. Unfortunately my pioneering beneficial life works are very computer-centred, so, apart from getting out for walks (much limited now by the effects of that curvature), I'm largely stuck with that, and so I started looking to see if I could ameliorate this situation. I tried a kneeling-type chair, and found that unsuitable in two major ways, so thought just maybe a D-shaped roll on my current office chair could help — not expecting anything of the sort to be a magic bullet, but at least maybe could be helpful. In the event, whatever the validity of the principle of using a lumbar roll, the big problem I find with it is that the elastic strap, however tightly done-up, cannot prevent the roll from riding too high or too low within minutes of my sitting down on the chair or my readjusting it. Also, for my purpose it needed to be rather firmer. Overall, therefore, it's of little use. However, this hasn't been an altogether negative experience, for it got me more focused on improving my seating somehow. I therefore searched around online for an office chair that would be more effective for me, and found that there was now a range of chairs that look to be much more effective for maintaining better alignment, the like of which apparently just didn't exist at a manageable price the last time I was looking around for a new chair. I how have one of those on order, and hopefully would have no cause for using any add-on on that. The roll may have the odd limited use, so I'm not returning it, but at least I've done my best to objectively report my own experience.

Good Morning,
Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear the lumbar roll was not as expected. We will ensure this information is passed to our Product Development Group for consideration moving forward, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We would also like to apologise for
the continuous review invitations you have received. I will speak with the relevant team to see if these can be reduced, as we understand how repeatedly receiving these invitations may be frustrating. Thank you again for your feedback. Kind regards, Samuel

Disappointing. Stitching was puckered at the side and it was much harder/firmer than the other 3 Posturite lumbar rolls I already own

Loops nicely over back of car seat and can be manoeuvred into position to make lower back more comfortable whilst driving.

I find it ideal in the car as I can set it where I need it, not where the car manufacturers set their lumber support
