Cage is long and accommodates all wiring. I have my extension lead in the basket also so there is only one electric cable showing below my desk. Very sturdy. accommodates wires and adapters for a laptop, two screens, my lamp and USB junction box thing :-) . If you want to avoid multiple trailing wires, the basket is a must.
