Ordered early yesterday and selected the next day service but 24 hours later my order is still "processing" and has not been despatched.

They say their deadline is 7pm for next day delivery and yet I ordered before 1pm and still they didn't manage to get the order out. I only saved around £10 on a £200 order

Update - I contacted Customer services by email and eventually later that day they acknowledged and i received and shipping notice from DPD - but they did need to be prompted.

It needs to be more bothered about the fact that it got the delivery wrong - the customer shouldn't have to chase to correct a situation that is has no control over.

Found the Trend router I required at the right price on this website. Placed order and the item was delivered next working day as stated. Never used power tool world before but will definitely use them again.

Wera screwdriver and 30 bit set. £80 but quality tools. Didn't want to carry loads of screwdrivers so this particulr model was the ultimate choice. Ratchet, reversable, locked, internal bit storage, extendable and removable magnetic locking bit holder. If you value quality tools like me. This is worth having.

Ordered a makita saw bench. Arrived in a plain cardboard box upon opening found item not to be in a makita box and badly packed in dirty polystyrene. Upon inspection no assembly bolts , tools or instructions
Rang to ask for bolts to be sent. Told I need to send back everything. Needed this bench quickly for a job I was doing so I ordered from another supplier . I’ve now been informed that because I paid on my business card that the order is classed as a trade sale and the terms and conditions state that i can only have a credit not a payment refund even though it arrived with parts missing
Imagine if you paid a grand for a tool that arrived faulty and u had to quickly get one from another supplier and you could only get a credit for that amount. I’m proceeding with a charge back from my bank. Don’t order from Powertool World you’ve been warned. !!
