Whole process took about 8 weeks from when I just started thinking about it to flying home from Prague glasses-free.
Praga Medica appointed Kate Hrnčířová as my English-speaking ‘guide’ who took me through the whole process from start to finish.
Kate was brilliant and no issue was too small or too great and I can’t thank her enough.
Staff at the clinic were professional, kind and courteous at all times.
The process was completed in three visits:-
Day 1 - Pre-checks
Day 2 - Procedure
Day 3 - Check up

Prague cosmetica were excellent, their communication was really good, they let me know what was happening every step of the way including organising taxis there and back to the surgery and airport pick up and drop off. My operation was explained carefully and was exactly as they said it would be.
Lovely people nothing was a problem everything was perfect.

Absolutely fantastic work ethic

I have just checked out of my hotel (the Panorama) and felt that I need to make a record for others of my experience as an Irish person coming to Prague for lens replacement surgery

First of all it’s a very daunting decision to take and one that I have thought about for a while (had no need to be worried)

From first contact with Jana the process was professional and extremely efficient. All the information required to make a decision was furnished to me from the outset. This included the background to the company, the explicit details of the surgery and the price lists for the various procedures

After taking the decision to go ahead with the surgery and paying the deposit- Jana kicked into top gear and provided a full itinerary and timings for the initial consultation, the procedures and the post operative check up. She sourced a hotel within 500m of the clinic and organised taxis to pick me up and drop me back to the airport. She also organised a taxi to bring me to the clinic from the hotel on the first day (reassuring)

The clinic itself was immaculate with an endless supply of nursing, optometrists and doctors taking very good care of me.

On arrival at the Clinic I was met by Klara who was my right hand throughout the pre operative journey. Excellent and so efficient. The day of the surgery (I got both eyes done on the same day) Thomas - a multi lingual gentleman was there for all the patients talking us through the steps and what to expect post surgery. He was brilliant

The actual surgery was pretty straightforward and the surgeon had perfect English. It lasted less than 20 minutes in total. Wasn’t sore but was a weird sensation.

The day after I met the optometrist for final check off and was reassured prior to leaving.

My sight is better than what is was with glasses now and I am still trying to adjust phantom glasses on my nose

If anyone is thinking about the surgery be reassured there is no negatives from my visit and the team you will meet are 100%

I can not rate this company enough I would give it 10 stars if I could. From my first enquiry right through to recovery they have been fantastic, they arranged all my surgery, they handled everything for me, from pre-ops, consultations, hotels etc and despite a hiccup during my first visit they managed to fix everything and rearranged my surgery for another date. I had a FDL tummy tuck with Dr Kubik at the Esthe clinic. I am amazed as how neat and tidy my tummy tuck is and what great results I’m seeing just 2 days post surgery. The clinic was so clean, modern and the staff were all fantastic. This cost me a quarter of what I was quoted in the UK so the travel was absolutely worth it, plus Prague is a beautiful city to visit. Marketa was like my personal PA through the whole journey and I can’t thank her enough. I hope to have her again on my next surgery! Honestly if your thinking of surgery abroad Prague is all EU registered and all surgeons are experienced and board certified it’s very safe, plus Praga medica will do all the hard work for you!!

I went to Prague for implants and crowns arranged through Praga Medica, and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. Lucie, their Treatment Abroad Lead Consultant was brilliant from start to finish — she gave me great advice, kept in touch throughout, and made sure everything ran smoothly. My dentist, Dr. Teleshman, and his team of technicians were amazing. They were professional, careful, and clearly very skilled. I felt completely at ease the whole time, and the results are even better than I expected. Travelling abroad for dental work can feel like a big step, but Praga Medica made it simple and stress-free. I’m so glad I chose them — top-quality care and a fantastic experience all round.

Sandra was informative prior to arriving and put my mind at ease. Everyone at the Neovise clinic were lovely. It’s a very busy place so there’s a bit of waiting on your first visit. The pre assessment I felt was quite basic in relation to the one I had in the UK and the rooms where equipment was in had a constant traffic and doors opening,people rushing past, whilst you were being tested on machines that needed a dark room, Like I say, busy. The assessment I had originally in the UK had around 13 machines and this experience was more like a standard eye test at Specsavers. I felt confident though due to the results being the same outcome so I’m glad I’d explored RLE before I went to Prague or I think I’d have worried it was basic for a pre op. I felt a little bit intimidated at the consultation part as I had a few questions and the consultant laughed a few times after my questions and spoke animatedly to my interpreter in Czech which made me feel really uncomfortable. It may have been nothing but felt that my questions were daft or something so it made me reluctant to ask anymore to her. I covered them off afterwards. The end of assessment and decision time, I felt under pressure and made me anxious. I wanted to explore the laser incision a little more but I felt a bit rushed to sign up and pay. Lucas was standing over me as I was in a room with a lady typing up contracts and taking payment, but I guess the clinic is so busy, they are trying to navigate the next person. The operation day, again, you feel like you’re on a wheel as so many people are sitting waiting for their op and getting eye drops in a cycle together but in some ways, I felt it desensitised the situation and I didn’t feel as nervous talking to people waiting for the same thing. Thomas was lovely and kept popping back to talk things through to prepare us. I asked him a lot of questions and he was calm and happy to reassure even though it was so busy. Operating team were fab and my surgeon spoke English which really helped. Procedure in both eyes at the same time was quick and the theatre was high tech and spotless. After the procedure you just basically get dressed and you go. I think I would have preferred for my one taxi they provide to be after the procedure as I felt a bit all over the place and overwhelmed and couldn’t see properly which was a bit unnerving. No one offered to call a taxi which was a similar experience after the assessment, the after the appointment/op part could do with a little bit more aftercare. I returned early morning the next day which was only 18 hours after the op and the consultant was lovely. She seemed to be happy with my eyes - didn’t give much away. She was less concerned about being as careful as I was told to be and said that I could go back the gym after a week or so, but I had been told by someone else to leave it until my 4 week eye testing so a bit disjointed in that sense which left me confused. Was there for 10 mins and that was it, done. All pretty straight forward. I am almost 4 weeks after the procedure now and my eyesight has significantly improved. It’s still blurry and find myself squinting a lot, light sensitivity is still an issue and halos haven’t reduced at all so driving as when cloudy and cars have headlights on it in the dark isn’t an option yet. I have my eye test in the UK in a few days and I’m keen for someone to look at my eyes. Since my follow up at the clinic I’ve had no communication with Praga Medica until today apart from when I contacted them as was a bit worried at 2 weeks as didn’t know what to expect. The fantastic aftercare that I read about in reviews has been none existent until today, 4 weeks later, asking me for a review. This was my concern about going overseas but I’ve got in with it as it was my choice. Overall the experience was good. Just a little fine tuning and some thought into aftercare.

We traveled from Canada to Prague for treatment and it was truly a better experience than we could have imagined. We found Fertility Port/Praga Medica through a web search and the reviews are what convinced us to try. The potential language barrier was a huge concern for us but our coordinators were very helpful and spoke perfect english, helping us every step of the way. We visited Prague twice, and both times we were well taken care of, all of our questions were answered, and we are now parents to a happy and healthy baby girl :) I recommend Fertility Port/Praga Medica to every single one of my friends interested in pursuing treatment as it's been the decision.

from start to finish the experience with this company was special. from original booking of the the treatment to meet and greet at the airport to clinic visits and guidance to care of patients and clinical procedures to cost. Pragamedica was a real privilege to deal with and anyone thinking of going for RLE these are definitely worth 1st choice.

Praga Medica were absolutely fabulous. The premises are out of this world. The staff are amazing. Everything was explained to me. Everything was done to the upmost top of perfection I cannot recommend Prada medical more highly amazing extremely reasonable prices saved thousands from what I was quoted in England for the same work and I had to have far more detailed procedures to get my implants done so relaxed in the chair whilst treatment was being carried out, I even fell asleep thank you, so proud of Praga medical amazing

What a fantastic experience , was worried especially about going to a different country but everything was very professional and the procedure was soo well explained and not painful at all. Delighted already and only after the OP two days ago.

I would never have considered travelling abroad for breast reduction surgery if my friend hadn’t been before and spoke very highly of PRAGA MEDICA. Luckily we both went together for op and what an experience- from start to finish. I did an online consultation first and a full medical questionnaire and sent photos and received a written quote detailing full package with no hidden costs and details of everything that was included which in itself was pretty impressive from courier to and from airport to pre op and health check and mammogram before op. Every step of the way we were looked after superbly. The team at praga medica were so lovely and met with us for appointments. The op itself was faultless and the results - just wow!!
So so happy and cannot recommend it enough. Never been to Prague before and what a beautiful country - wish we had more time there as so much to see. We stayed for a week in total and flew home. Every person that looked after us were so kind and caring. Excellent service. Cannot speak highly enough !! My surgeon was Dr Polak - his work is faultless ❤️ He listened to what I wanted and gave advice on best results for me and what to expect.

From the moment I made my initial web enquiry to sitting here in the hotel foyer writing this review (without needing my glasses!) before I leave for home, I simply must say the entire experience with Praga Medica has been absolutely fantastic, faultless.

Every member of staff, from the brilliant Martina and Thomaz to the wider clinical and support team, has been professional, caring, and incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. Their guidance and reassurance made everything so smooth and stress-free.

The level of care and attention they provide to patients’ needs — is phenomenal. I honestly cannot recommend Praga Medica highly enough.

We travelled for a breast uplift. The treatment you receive is faultless. Thorough tests before during and after the operation. Modern clinic. We had Dr Polka who was very informative and made time to properly discuss what we wanted. He came in and checked up on us in the evening and the following morning. Results are beyond our expectations.

Excellent experience cannot fault anything from start to finish.Somebody is always there to help.Already recommend to 2 people.
