The service Praga Medica provided was absolutely perfect. They organized everything : meet me at the airport, accommodated in a very nice hotel, supported
me at every step. I came by myself but had a feeling that I was not alone, but pampered by the close friends. :-)) Doctor Lukas Magera did a great surgery and Jana (Treatment Abroad Consultant) took care of me every minute. I definitely can recommend them.

My experience was positive from beginning to end. Communication was efficient, clear and helpful. Replies to questions dealt with very quickly. We arrived at the airport and was picked up and taken to the Hotel. The following morning I was taken to the clinic. Everyone really friendly. Thomas my assigned interpretor was lovely. Three hours of thorough testing then surgery and date discussed for my lens replacement in both eyes. Arrived for surgery. Beginning to end you're at the clinic for about 2 hours. Within half an hour of my procedure I was walking back to the hotel. Clean, efficient, safe. Would recommend.

I would highly recommend Praga Medica! When I first contacted them it was Jana who put in place the dates , clinic and surgeon for my upper blepharoplasty procedure.

Jana was fantastic throughout my experience , I was met outside my apartment on the day of the operation taken to the clinic where the day was explained to me. Dagmar left at 8am then Jana took her place, helped with forms, spoke to the staff and was very efficient and nothing was too much trouble for her, truly a valuable person for Praga Medica. After the procedure Jana took me safely back to my apartment and checked in with me during my time in Prague to make sure everything was OK. On returning home again more correspondence to ask about healing/ how I'm doing.

I'd have to hesitation in recommending Praga Medica to anyone based on my own experience. Special mention to Jana who was there from the beginning of my journey and was always super quick to answer any queries.

I visited Dr.Pete Polák in February and from the very start I felt very comfortable with him I had a breast lift and implants I am absolutely over the moon with the results he had made me feel so much more better in my self I also had eye upper Blepharoplasty and I am over the moon with this too thank you so much I would also like the thank the receptionist she was brilliant and also both the nurse who looked after me who was amazing and thank to Hdriena my interpreter she was lovely and also to Caroline our consultant who helped us all the was though it overall absolutely brilliant would 💯 recommend Dr.Petr Polàk and this clinic

Upper eyelid surgery..

I am so impressed ! I am 7 weeks post surgery and I am virtually healed . The scar is tiny and very neat which is sitting nicely in the crease of my eye lid. (Thanks Dr Tesani)

The overseas patient coordinator Jana is amazing she supported me with everything I needed to know prior to surgery and also checking in on me post surgery which I thought is very reassuring.(Thankyou Jana). I also had an interpreter Michalea who met me at our hotel reception to take me to the clinic . She was such a lovely kind hearted young lady and fantastic throughout. The staff, the nurses, the clinic are all amazing . Another thing I found, this clinic is not heavily promoted on social media so is actually a hidden gem. The standard of care is high and of course the cost is a fraction of the cost of the UK .

I travelled to Prague with my husband on 19th January and we had a lovely few days exploring the beautiful city and I had the procedure on 22nd, flying home the next morning . My surgeon was fantastic , Dr Tesani . I couldn’t be happier with my treatment and i will definitely be back at some point for my lower eyelid surgery ! The confidence I now feel …..it was worth every single penny and absolutely pain free. A great big Thank-you to Prague Medica!

Great experience from start to finish! From my first enquiry, Praga Medica were incredibly responsive, informative and reassuring. The whole process was very well organised and I always felt supported and fully informed about each step.

Travelling to Prague for the surgery was seamless as everything was arranged for me, including transfers and appointments. The clinic itself was extremely modern, spotless and very professional, and all of the staff were friendly, welcoming and clearly very experienced. Any nerves I had quickly disappeared because the team took the time to explain everything and made me feel completely at ease.

The surgery itself was quick and completely painless, and the care I received both before and after the procedure was excellent. I had trifocal lens replacement and the results have been amazing. My vision is already incredibly clear and my near vision is perfect, which has made such a difference to everyday life.

I’m only in the early stages of healing but so far the experience has exceeded my expectations. If anyone is considering lens replacement surgery, I would absolutely recommend Praga Medica. The professionalism, organisation and level of care were outstanding.

The whole process was made easy. From start to finish I was totally supported by this company. My contact consultant 'Daniela', always kept me updated and answered any questions. I was collected as promised from the airport and my chosen accomodation. Clinic staff were always polite and friendly. I met several other English people having treatment which made it more comfortable. Surgeons and all staff gave exceptional service and all was very quick. I knew what was happening all the time. A big thank you to the guides...Jakub and Jurga ( not sure if that's the lady's name) they basically hold your hand while you are in the clinic. Happily rearranging transportation when I changed my mind. All in all they were all brilliant....I would recommend 100%>

My partner and I decided to have lens replacement so we contacted two private clinics in the UK but were put off by the cost. Our friend who lives in Germany recommended Praga Medica as he had had laser surgery with them 10 years before. Our contact throughout the process was Kate who explained everything very clearly, organised our accommodation and was very patient in answering all of my searching questions.

I have to say it's a pretty slick operation, they are very well organised, from the first moment at the clinic we were assigned an English speaking employee who basically held our hands throughout the first day there. Don't expect luxurious surroundings, the clinic is one business in a large serviced building, it's very functional. When you first enter you'll be forgiven for thinking it's a rather small place but you will soon see it's a bit of a rabbit warren, corridors, waiting areas and lots of rooms.

A lot of people may be nervous going to Prague for such an operation, I have to admit I was a little but there's no need to be, they know what they're doing, they're all highly trained and highly skilled.

We went into the theatre not being able to read without glasses, half an hour later we walked out of surgery having had both eyes painlessly operated on. After our eyes had stopped stinging and watering (don't worry it doesn't last for long) we could read everything on our phones for the first time in years!

A couple of things to remember
No.1, they will tell you this at the clinic when you first arrive but I think it bears repeating. Don't be afraid to ask questions at any point. They may not seem to be forthcoming with a lot of information but I think that may be because they're not overly confident speaking our language, (and who can blame them, we knew precisely none of theirs) but they will answer any questions you have.
No.2, they will tell you this after your surgery but again I think it bears repeating, be patient with your new eyes. The op may only take half an hour but it's still a very invasive procedure. You will get some side effects but they will fade as time goes by. Don't panic if they're still there after a month or two, your brain has to get used to your new lenses.

I can't recommend Praga Medica highly enough, if you're thinking of lens replacement, get quotes from UK clinics, then get a quote from Praga Medica, book 5 days in Prague, see a beautiful European city, get your eyes fixed & save yourself a bunch of money.

I contacted Pragamedica to ask if they could arrange blepharoplasty surgery. They were extremely efficient with great communication. I dealt with Marketa who arranged everything for me with the surgeon at “Perfect Clinic”. I am extremely pleased with the results so far ( 1 week post surgery).

I've just returned to Wales after having an eye lens replacement arranged through praga. All the arrangements were great, taxis bang on time, all appointments as scheduled. The operation was fine and the people at the clinic are great. But the best result is my eye. Had a bifocal lens instead of the tri but intermediate and far vision is perfect and close vision is great, can use phone etc without glasses no problem. My contact at Praga was Kate, all arrangements, payment etc were faultless. Would recommend their services without hesitation.

I had my eye surgery with Neovise clinic and had Femtolasik HD surgery provided by Praga Medica recently, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very start, Kate guided me through everything with patience and care, Kristof was always there to help, and Dr. Jana’s expertise and kindness made me feel completely at ease.

This is the second time I have used Praga Medica. On both occasions I have experienced a first class service from the initial enquiry to the consultation, procedure and post op care. Karolina was amazing supporting me through the whole process from the initial enquiry to picking me up after the procedure. Karolina meet me on arrival at the clinic and helped to ensure all the preliminary tests were completed before seeing the consultant. The clinic was elegant, professional and clinical where the majority of the staff spoke English. Everybody involved in my care was extremely approachable, professional and reassuring.

Great correspondence from the start, questions answered quickly and everything explained fully. The travel arrangements and help with booking accommodation was much appreciated. The initial consultation and then the procedure was explained. I felt relaxed and in safe hands. The results have been fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Very good communication and organisation. Flying solo to a different country for an eye operation does feel daunting but the company guide you through the process and help is available at any time. The clinical staff are very efficient and well practiced in what they do. Would certainly recommend.

From start to finish my experience with Praga Medica has been great. The communications were great before booking and once booked any questions I had were answered promptly.
When I arrived in Prague I was contacted to let me know that Dagmar would meet me at the clinic the following morning and Dagmar also whats apped to introduce herself. Dagmar was lovely and she came into the meeting with the consultant in case of any communication issues. There was not as he spoke very good english but it was reassuring just in case. The clinic was very clean, the staff friendly and all spoke excellent English. The surgery was very straightforward and excellent post op info about how to take care of the wound. I was supplied with a cooling eye mask as well as pain relief and scar cream.

I couldn’t fault the experience from the very first time I made contact with Marketa she guided me through the process and everything I should know ,it all planned out for you they will even book hotel for you , Dr zeniskova and the nurses were so reassuring and informed you step-by-step what was happening ,they were all so kind I couldn’t find a fault with anything, they looked after you amazingly 💕
