Be very careful before using this website.
At first glance, it looks like a normal mobile top-up service. The page mainly asks for your mobile number and how much credit you want to buy, so it's easy to assume you're making a one-off purchase.
What I didn't realise was that I had apparently signed up for a £49 per month subscription. The information about the membership is displayed in much smaller text and is easy to miss, especially if you're using the site quickly on a phone.
Even the confirmation emails didn't make it obvious that I had subscribed to a recurring monthly membership, so I only discovered it after seeing the charge.
In my opinion, the website's design is misleading and could easily cause customers to believe they are simply purchasing a mobile top-up rather than enrolling in an ongoing subscription.
My advice is to read every page very carefully before entering your payment details. If you're only looking to top up your mobile, make sure you understand exactly what you're agreeing to before completing the purchase.
Update 10/08/2026
They have charged another £49 today, it is showing as pending.
If first payment they took was an autorised subscription what is the justification for today.
They have kept my bank details and charging it as they please.

I paid £15 on Saturday to topup my new EE simcard this is for a month. On Tuesday another £49 was taken from my account. I phoned and a foreign woman spoke very calmly its in the t&c’s you will get nothing back. I will talk to Argos and EE but I am sure they already know . I will now be careful where I shop .

I topped up my 86 year old aunty's very basic phone for 10 euros when I visited her in Ireland. 2 days later hit with a charge for £45.85. My bank text me to say probable fraud. Stopped payment then cancelled my card. Few days later another charge for £45.85 'appears on my card.raised issue with bank.
Contacted customer services by email told this was a subscription charge which I know I never knowingly signed up for.
Emailed to dispute told can cancel subscription but not issue refund as outside of 3 day trial.this company is stealing off people who just want to top up a phone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE THIEVES.

Scam company, avoid at all costs. They take money without consent. They don’t even give you the credit to tip up.

Avoid like the Plague! They are Fraudulent and will scam you once they have your banking details.
I Bought some EE credit for my UK Number believing that they were a reputable company with all the logos on the front page. They claim to have a score of 4.3 on Trustpilot but there is no link - and its actually 3.5.
I did indeed get a voucher for the EE credit which I then activated but whilst on my banking App I noted the payment for the credit had been taken plus there was a pending payment of £19 from the same company.
After investigation i discovered that This company hides a “fake subscription” by making you agree to the conditions in the payment for the EE Credit top up.
I cancelled the subscription on their website 3 days after I bought the credit and they confirmed that no further payments would be taken.
They then took the additional £19 payment and I complained. They said I cannot have my money back because It was after the “three day trial” period. This is a simple case of fraud.
They initially offer you 20% back. If you keep complaining and get the bank involved they then offer to refund 50% of the payment. Of course if you accept this then the banks will not intervene.
I told them I would not accept it and that I have given them ample information showing they never fulfilled any of the guidelines that they need to follow as a reputable company.
I now intend to inform my Bank and make contact with their fraud department (as a payment was taken without any consent) and additionally they confirmed in writing that my subscription had been cancelled and no further payments would be taken.
If Prepaid Mobile Recharge Agent reads this - I still require my £19 to be refunded. Please do not respond with your normal rubbish like "We deeply regret that our service did not meet your expectations". The only regret you have is the people have spotted the scam.

This website is a scam.
They signed me up for a membership without me realising it. I noticed that they took £50 from my bank account one day that that happened.
So I sent an email asking for a full refund and they said they can only refund 20% as I was out of the 3 days trial period, which is another lie as I cancelled my membership after 1 day. Thieves

Fraudsters - DO NOT USE.
When topping up a prepaid sim with 5 euro they enter a monthly subscription of 49 euro in the background without your approval

Do not use!
Bought some credit for my elderly father for £20 and ended up having £49 taken from my account which would have been a monthly “subscription” had I not checked once seeing the money removed.
This was NOT what I signed up for.
The company hides their “joke of a subscription” under making you agree to pay for the top up.
I have complained and have been told I cannot have my money back because It was a “three day trial” which is ridiculous and unreasonable!
All they would offer me is 20% back. Do not use!!
