Unsolicited subscription

I placed an order on 9 April 2026 , which is currently in transit. But got a shock when today Presto wrote: "Your free trial expires this week - I hope you have enjoyed the first few weeks of your free Presto Music streaming trial.". I do not recall having agreed to any free trial far less to an ongoing subscription. First few weeks should have read first few hours!
Fortunately it was possible to cancel before I was charged. But it leaves a bad taste, and in future I shall order with Presto only if the product I am looking for is not available elsewhere.

Reliable, friendly service, highly recommended

Over the past 10 years, I have ordered a couple of CD box sets and six music scores from Presto, and every single time they have been reliable, responsive and helpful in all respects. Some of the items were on back order from their suppliers, and if there was ever a delay, Presto would email me to let me know. I always got what I ordered and I would recommend them highly.

Presto has the worst download function…

Presto has the worst download function you could imagine. Every single time I download a purchased album, using their Download Manager app, the drill changes. Album does NOT go to a Presto downloads folder in my music folder, the option I selected. Albums sometimes show up in a "see in folder" option and can be moved into my Music folder, sometimes not. Usually disappear. Have to be downloaded multiple times. A HUGE headache.

Trustworthy. Great experience

Ordered a contemporary jazz music CD. The price was cheaper than amazon. Arrived in CANADA within predicted times, even though I used a no-tracking delivery system.

Perchased Trevor James Saxophone.
The Saxophone was on BStock (light inperfections). Due to this it was discounted and when I signed up for newsletter dicounted again.
Very happy shopper, the saxophone is brand new at second hand price.

Best product; BEST Customer Service EVER

I had difficulties with my order. At first I thought it was misdelivered, but it seems it was nicked from my parcelbox. It was a large order; I’m semi-retired & on a budget; I couldn’t afford to order it again. I was very upset.

After some time, Presto worked to make this good for me. Throughout the process, including the bit in which I was very upset & cross, Tracy & Clare were professional, thorough & very kind.

I cannot thank them enough. At a time when everything is virtual, bot-driven & exploitative, Presto offers both superb product & the most human, professional & kind customer service I’ve had in my 70yrs.

Great service

I put the right address but the wrong postcode on my order and didn't notice till the day before delivery was due. I rang Presto and without any fuss they recalled the order and then sent it on to me - and without charging me for the postage for the second delivery - great service! I have ordered several CDs from them and they have always arrived safely and in excellent condition.

A valuable retailer

I have bought music from Presto for several years.Orders are dealt with promptly and goods dispatched with alacrity. On the very rare occasion that something has gone amiss the issue has been addressed and resolved with the utmost speed. Presto fail to deliver ...

Presto music accepted an order for 14 copies of a publication - and their website indicated delivery within a week. On chasing after 2 weeks, only 9 of the 14 were delivered - and they are now saying they cannot get the remaining 5 from their source and won't give a delivery timescale. It has now been nearly 6 weeks. Despite this - their website still shows despatch of the item would be 5-7 days. Don't trust the website at all - it clearly does not give the genuine picture.

Sometimes we do experience a delay if an item is out of stock at the supplier but we do continue to try and obtain the out of stock item on your behalf to fulfil your order.
Many apologies for the obvious disappointment and inconvenience caused.

Failed to fulfil order and not communicating

We ordered a music book with CDs in November. When it arrived, there were no CDs. We informed Presto immediately and their first reaction was a more polite version of "Tough - it's not available". We did not accept this and they did eventually agree to get hold of the CDs (which are available separately). But three months and many emails later, no CDs, no refund and they have stopped replying to emails. Next step is trading standards and the credit card provider to get our money back. It is easy for a company to appear to have good customer service but it is when something goes wrong that you really find out what they are like.

High disappointment

In November I ordered the piano score for one of my favourite musicals for a friend of mine for a Xmas present, knowing he'd absolutely love it! But first Presto told me that it would only get to me a few days before Xmas, so they said they'd deliver it straight to my friend (wouldn't be wrapped then of course, but I agreed, knowing it would still be a fantastic pressie) but then they told me it wouldn't be delivered to him in time for Xmas and then, in January, they told me that they didn't have it at all. It was ordered from another source and they never got it so I didn't ever get it, nor did my friend. Very disappointing service from this company.

Whatever Classical or Jazz Music, you name the Genre they can usual supply it.

Allround availability of CDs, DVDs, Blurays, Sheet Music, Books, Downloads, online streaming and Inhouse sponsored Live music. Reasonable pricing, and extra label discounts launched throughout the year. Quick turnaround of orders, and updates on delayed orders. FIRST CLASS SERVICE not available through the majority of other suppliers.

I placed an order last Friday at 6.00am…

I placed an order last Friday at 6.00am and paid for tracked 24hrs. I would have hoped that it would have been sent that days it was in stock. Instead it was not processed until today, Monday. I have spent well over £350 with you since I first started shopping with you earlier this year.
