Love this place
Love the small little chocolate cake, their croissant always fresh, and their food is yummy. I would have given them 5 stars if their food wasnt pricey.

I had been a longtime regular at the local Pret, coming for breakfast 4-5 days a week and sometimes for lunch.
The food is good and the prices are a bit much, but with the drink subscription plan it's not that bad.
The problem is that they allow customers to bring dogs into the store's dining area. They claim that they only allow service dogs and have no way of knowing which are or are not legitimately so.
Hint: when the dog owner lets the store staff and strangers pet the dog, it's not a service animal. Service animals don't stick their faces into the packaged foods on lower shelves and do not eat garbage on the floor.
Even when one pet owner goes out of her way to try to trigger an allergic reaction in someone with severe allergies, they won't do anything other than suggest you try another of their stores.
I enjoyed my coffee with a friend there. Was an interesting dining concept. Will go back again next time I am in NYC
Terrible work place. I worked only few weeks but left. Managment is terrible, discriminate when you don't work fast and are not from same country. No training but expected to know everything fast. Worst company with lot of lies.
I have received many wrong coffees and some mixed up items with wrong labels but have been very forgiving until the recent discoveries.
In light of the recent customer deaths and how badly Pret dealt with it until it became public, as well as the news reports including a Sunday Mirror undercover investigation into horrific work conditions, I will not only boycott, but avoid Pret. It doesn't seem what it is on the outside. It is better to return and support small businesses.
Decent selection of ingredients but clearly overpriced.
On May 15th I was passing through Heathrow airport, London, en route from Denmark to the USA. Before leaving Denmark I purchased a £20 note so that I could buy something to eat at Heathrow. I purchased a sandwich and a bottle of water from Pret a Manger and paid with my £20 note. The change i got back was one, rather old and soiled, £10 note and some coins.
Returning 2 weeks later I again went to Pret a manger, ordered food and tried to pay with my £10 note. A woman, whom I took to be the manager, refused to take my £10 note. She said that it wasn't legal any longer. I explained that It was them who gave me the note 2 weeks before and I thought that it was reasonable that they should take it back.
The woman refused so I didn't get anything to eat and was stuck with a worthless £10 note. I think that this was really shabby treatment and i don't see the point of them sticking me with the note. My understanding is that the notes can be exchanged at any British bank. What advantage have they in passing this , to me, worthless note?
Great option for a quick bite or tasty treats. Very consistant products!
The food here is actually ok but the prices are nothing short of extortionate, the quality is nowhere near the price. Then you get to the counter and they charge you extra to sit in, no other sandwich bar does this and it's not like these shops are that nice. Hard seats and a table with a lack of space.
I'd avoid and go elsewhere
I've only ever ordered in their stores (not sure if you can order onlin?)... but everything I've tried has been delicious! Probably my favorite sandwich shop.
Just had a "Avocado & Chipotle Chicken Flatbread" at Pret (Stansted) and there was literally no chicken in it whatsoever! Yeap, the salad/avacado were lovely etc...but Chicken is pretty important too!
I'd complain, but I'm the other side of the gate now and boarding in a moment, but let this be a lesson! Check Pret sandwiches are what they say on the tin - this would not pass the Ronseal test!
