Their service is basically not …

Their service is basically not existing. They have a lot of downtimes, bad hardware and often the connection is so bad that you loose connection for multiple secconds every minute or so. Overall probably the worst internet provider I ever came in contact with. Will cancel the contract.

Awful quality cable modems!

I just moved to Berlin; coming from a country that is no. 1 when it comes to IT, it was like the dark ages in Berlin - I was quite surprised.

Luckily I moved into an apartment that could support internet through the antenna cable and I was promised speeds of 60mbit. I was used to cable internet already, for many many years, so I knew it's capabilities and stability, so I was quite happy to know that Primacom was the primary provider on my address.

Ever since I started my subscription with Primacom, it has been a bumpy journey! The speed of the internet varies insanely.. Sometimes only 1-2mbit and then suddenly it spikes to (promised) 58-60mbit (with ethernet cable) and the WiFi is a joke. Most nights I can't even stream from Apple TV or my iPad cause the WiFi connection is so poor. When it works, it is superfast, but most of the time it's laggy and very inconsistent; that is NOT how cable internet should be!

When I complain to Primacom they just shrug and tell me that my connection is fine and that it works as it should - Which is true, about 30% of the time - That isn't something they write, that you're going to have an inconsistent and laggy connection over half the time.

Then I started researching and discovered that the Chinese made cable modem they throw at you for €30 is the absolutely worst quality you can imagine! I would rather pay premium € and get a better quality modem - But they don't even offer that.

Stay away from Primacom! It's expensive and slow and they send you really cheap modems, that creates lag and hours of headache!
