I first used this service last year for a stay in Turkey. Since it was my first time booking with them, I was a little nervous, but they sent me several follow-up emails before my trip, which made me feel very reassured.
During my stay at The Peninsula, my room was upgraded to a suite, and they also arranged transportation to the cruise port after check-out. It turned out to be a truly wonderful stay.
Because of that positive experience, I have also started using them for my domestic trips this year. In the past, I would usually have booked through other hotel booking websites, but now I choose to book through them instead.
What I really appreciate is that the booking process is as easy and convenient as booking online, while still offering personal support. A dedicated travel advisor always contacts me after each booking, which makes it very easy to communicate any requests.
I will definitely continue using their service in the future.

Private Upgrades (PU) are a great, new discovery for me. Their prices are always competitive and generally include a 50 or 100US$ credit to the room, meaning the beat even the hotel prices when booking directly with the chosen establishment. Most importantly though there are real people behind PU, and this makes a real difference as they are helpful, polite and always quick at responding, getting in touch with the hotels booked on your behalf to obtain information and often and other perks like early check in or late check out. They also went over and above for me to avoid a charge I would have paid due to a late cancellation resulting from the impact of the conflict in the ME. I have no reservation in recommending Private Upgrades.

My stay at the InterContinental Sukhumvit
My stay at the InterContinental Sukhumvit in Bangkok was truly outstanding. From arrival to departure the experience reflected the high standards one expects from the InterContinental brand.
I would especially like to recognize PrivateUpgrades Luxury Travel Agency who arranged my reservation and took care of everything before my arrival. Their professionalism and attention to detail ensured that the entire stay was perfectly organized and completely seamless.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed, modern and very elegant. My room was spacious, extremely comfortable and thoughtfully appointed offering a relaxing retreat after a day exploring Bangkok. The quality of the bedding, amenities and overall attention to detail was excellent.
What truly stood out was the level of service. The staff were consistently warm, professional and attentive at all times making the stay feel both welcoming and personalized.
The location in the Thonglor area is also ideal, with convenient access to the BTS Skytrain and many excellent restaurants and cafés nearby.
Overall, a superb luxury experience. I look forward to returning in the future and would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting Bangkok.
My sincere thanks to the entire team for making this stay so memorable — I hope to return again soon.

I stayed three nights at Sofitel…
I stayed three nights at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, and it was a wonderful experience. This booking was made through Private Upgrade, and we had an excellent experience at a great price.
The view from the room was stunning, and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Since it was Lunar New Year, the tteokguk (rice cake soup) was especially memorable. The grilled pork belly was unique and flavorful, and the lounge happy hour was generous and enjoyable, leaving us with many happy memories.
We also used the $100 credit at Latitude 32 Lounge for both dining and the bakery, which allowed us to enjoy a variety of experiences.
From our Lake View Room, we could see the Luminaria Festival of Lights and also watch the sunset, which was absolutely breathtaking.

We love the Bairro Alto hotel!
We love the Bairro Alto hotel, but we always have difficulty getting an upgrade! I don't understand the hotel's dynamics; if they have better rooms, why don't they satisfy the guests? The reception staff should be more friendly and kind. Unfortunately, due to the rain, the balcony of the BAHR restaurant was closed. We always choose the hotel because of the wonderful view! I asked the private upgrade attendant to include our photos because we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, but unfortunately they didn't include them or even mention it! I always recommend the private upgrade to friends and patients!

Then told no bookings available - which wasn't true.
After booking, told no upgrade was available. Also not true.
I needed to follow up every stage - wasted so much time on circular conversations and AI bot email replies.
As with the reply below, they act as though nothing was amiss. But 5 emails & 4 phone calls to bring about an outcome- is not customer service. It is a disservice.

The hotel room furnishing is luxurious and spacious. The amenities are of top luxury brands. The Food & beverage in this hotel is far superior than those of Mandarin Oriental Pudong and Alila Shanghai on this trip. We dined in three different restaurants. They were all fabulous. The hotel pool and gym are clean and well appointed.
