Theft practices

When I picked up the car, they asked me to sign some papers and pay without any further explanation. Later, I realized I had already paid through the booking platform and asked for a refund. It turns out that, without asking or explaining, they had sold me additional insurance that costs three euros more than the rental itself. These are particularly underhanded and reprehensible practices.

Damage scams.

As per previous reviews, scammed for damage I think was already there. They said they would email a receipt that never arrived. The customer service email addresses are not real. Avoid.

Scammers please avoid

Absolute scammers picked vehicle up in the dark and unable to see a crack in the front bumper as it had been filled with glue which in daylight could see close up glue hanging out of the crack. Charged €701 which they will never fix.
Staff were rude, ignorant and arrogant.
Thrifty and Hertz should take franchise away.

Shambolic

As mentioned previously this a company behind Hertz/Thrifty/Dollar and maybe others in the Canaries They are incompetent crooks. Attempted to upsell us insurance despite already having full comprehensive cover via DiscoverCars, accused us of not dropping the car back on time, charged us for damage to the car which was already present and recorded in the checkout document when we first received the car. Absolutely shambolic. Avoid. Companies like this are a scourge on the islands. Look at AutoReisen, Cicar, Cabrera Medina companies instead. These companies are completely upfront with all costs and far more reputable. See TrustPilot for reviews.
