They are white collar scam

They are white collar scam. They miss use of the information available publicly, such as Business lease registration database. They try on all new business owners and get successful to trap first time business owner as they do not know their data is available publicly. They tell you that they are your current supplier and they been given all information by previous owner so they just need to confirm some information and transfer will be done. First time business owner gets convinced that they have all of their information and they must be right. then they get done contract over the phone which does not even have 14 day cooling off period. they claim that they giving best rates available in the market.
They done all this to me too. I done contract over the phone with them thinking that i would cancel contract with in 14 days if i find better energy rates around. Contract gets filled once call ends, that what they told me and when i asked them if there was 14 day cooling off period they said business contracts do not have cooling of period. That was when i asked them not to go ahead with contract as i need look around in market to make sure these are better rates. otherwise i would get stuck with 4 years contract. they agreed and call was ended. week later i found out that my energy contract was transferred to OPUS energy from Npower. i followed complaint to both OPUS and lowerproject but i was been told they have contract copy and that recording being checked and nothing wrong with it. it's legal contract. after chasing them i was told that they just have 10 mints call recording which is only contact bit and rest of call recording they are not legally obliged to keep it. so they had selective call recording which proves them right but they deleted parts of recording where they lied.
There is a manger name Paul in Lowerproject, omg! he just talk and talk and loves to gives silly examples as if he's very smart.

According to them, they tried to help me as i would have been charged 35% extra on energy bills without contract. Guess what i got one moth bill from Npower without contract for around £500. then i got one month energy bill with contract from OPUS energy around £900. it was suppose to be 35% cheaper and so called best rates available in market. just wondering i had not had their best rates this bill would have been £2000 lol.
hopefully my experience will help new business owners to avoid such scam.

Stay far from them

99% of the company are good companies, unfortunately this one is in the 1% side. If you have any issue with them they will be just talking and talking without getting anywhere. After wasting my time just reported them to the authorities. If you have or had any deal from them be assured that their offer is the worst that you can get, as they get paid on the cut that they do on the tariffs .

Deliberately misleading Spam email

I got an email with this header (I've edited my company name)
"re: energy price enquiry for C****** & V*****"
I have never emailed you and this email is not a reply... it is an attempted deception to mislead me into opening your spam. If you had done your research you would know we are in serviced offices and do not need your energy saving services. If you want to get a bad reputation then start your emails with "Re:"

Very annoying.
