Never received my certificate

Took my test in October, certificate was never mailed out. They claimed it was email out two days later. First time I called after a month of my test exam, they said it will get to your house and it’s probably late. Called now in May because my job had asked for the certificate and I told them I thought they had it because it was never mailed to me directly. The lady on the phone asked why did you call after 7 months and I had told her I called a month after my exam, she said there’s no note that was left that you called. Okay? Whose fault is that? Obviously prometrics employee who didn’t do their job right. First time I called, I got an attitude saying it will arrive soon. How soon I asked and she said soon with an attitude. So I called to get my certificate today and she said that she has to ask her supervisor to approve sending a duplicate and that I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN. How is it that you sent a certificate that was never arrived to my house? Not like anyone stoled it out of my mailbox with the cameras I have installed. I will not be paying to get my certificate when first employee couldn’t do her job right. Not only was it me, EVERYONE in my group who took the test with me LITERALLY had to call them a month or two after because they never received their certificate. The problem is obviously them. At this point I should get a lawyer involved. If they “claim” to leave a note and send the certificates right after the exam then none of my other classmates should have called as well just to receive it. Few still don’t even have it till now because they are tireddddd of speaking to these people

Scammed

I took a whole 3 semester course and spent upwards of $2k to be able to qualify to take an exam through Prometric. I paid the application fee only for them to tell me there are no available spots left for testing. They scammed me out of money. I spent 2 hours on the phone only for them to tell me there's nothing they can do. Customer service was rude right off the bat even though I tried to be nice right away to have an easier time navigating (attracting more with honey and all that). They make it hard to contact them intentionally because they know they're ripping people off.

Bad experience with inconsiderate staff with attitude; supervisor even less helpful and with worse attitude

Staff with attitude started bad experience ; provided my drivers license for ID ;
Staff didn't except written certification of completion of training as prerequisite for testing ; Oakstone representative provided certificate of training but unacceptable by staff !
Finally allowed to take exam
Passed exam but staff member lost my drivers license , needless to say they say exam maybe invalid due to lack of ID

Last night I tried to sit for an exam

Last night I tried to sit for an exam. I went through the check in process at least four time due to the exam just disappearing or not starting. After speaking with tech support, they told me to disable my antivirus and I did. After just a few more questions, same issue. Customer services said I needed a ticket number to reschedule the exam which I was never given. I was told I could not take the exam due to having to restart the process too many time. I wish I could give no stars. I have had to talk to multiple people and still no answer as to if I will have to pay to retake the exam due to no fault of my own. This is my first and last time using this proctor. Pearson would never put people through this mess.

Rediculous !!!!!

Rediculous !!!!!
I worked for 2 years as CNA !! Now they saying you have to find the job in 4 days who is willing in to renew certificate ( by the way certificate expires in 4 days ) the facility who is obligated by law renew do not care either …
So sad that upon a time I deceided to pay 850$ for school150$ for test and no one carrying 🙄

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage, just reading their brochure notifies you how invasive and unwaveringly authoritarian this setup is, leaving you with no power, and some random unknown individual (or even an AI with their updated services) having ultimate control over whether or not you are following their rules.

Stay far away from this company...SCAM ALERT!

I made my appointment in February 2024, paid my money to go to a site that is now closed. They just sent me a notice saturday evening before a monday morning onsite exam. They make no mention of a refund or where I can get it done. This was the last day for me before I have to send my results in for my university. This company is a scam. Notify your bank for a reversal of charges. Report to the BBB ASAP!

i've been standby by my computer since…

i've been standby by my computer since 7.30 am, to now, 11.52 am i wrote this review, the site is still like damn. Idk how many times i've log in into my account only to face an ERORR when i clicked the date for the exams or when i have reach the last step for payment.
I refresh many times and the pages just give me 'tadaima, the traffic is busy', why bother make a cheap web.

Terrible treatment at Prometric's Satellite testing center

I signed up to take ASE recertification tests at Prometric's satellite center in north Houston. I have taken tests here before and their service was marginal at best as they never sent an email confirmation. I simply showed up at the assigned time and was able to take the tests. This time they cancelled me without informing me so when I got there the center was closed. Calls to their number went unanswered so I was forced to reenroll and drive to a distant location. Fortunately the other location was well staffed, polite, and professional so I successfully finished my tests there.

Prepared to take my exam at 8:30 am

Prepared to take my exam at 8:30 am, arrived at 7:40 am….parking issues, construction going on, difficulty locating testing site. Test site is located in basement, very dull lighting, water smell, location unprepared, waited over 35 minutes to be checked in, the excuse they had someone to call out. These issues totally screwed my experience.

The worst of the worst.

The worst of the worst.
Their employees who barely speak English took a sweet 1 hour of checking everything around me. Showing my pockets, tattos, behind ears, remove two 50" monitors form the desk on the ground, removing everything from the shelfs and flowers on the ground. Meanwhile, while running back and force i really started to want to go to the washroom and i was refused. I have failed the exam because i simple had a choice to pee myself or to complete an exam. I don't understand why would any large company go with this BS! Minus 100 stars of 10!! Please, close this company and stop making people suffer!

How does this place still exist

How does this place still exist? They are clearly hated by all of us who have had an experience with them. Anyhow, I had rude proctors who were inconsistent with their standards and the software crashed and kicked me out of my near finished exam. And when I tried to get back in, a new proctor was not satisfied with the testing environment that had been approved by the previous proctor. Adding insult to injury, they counted their software crash as one of my 3 attempts at logging back in. Overall, and ADC exam which should have taken an hour tops turned into over three. Please, if you have other options, do not go with the ProProctor program and just test in person. I promise it will be worth the mileage and time.

I have disorder and many notes

I have disorder and many notes. I have ADA RIGHT for exam accommodations, they would not accept papers from certain MEDICAL DOCTOR because he does not specialize in condition.
I would have to take exam without exam accommodations because it is just to expensive to see a new provider and go through testing. It would cost about $2,7000

This is the worst experience I have had…

This is the worst experience I have had with a proctor service. The proctors are rude, there are consistent software issues, the rescheduling system is bogus, and the connectivity issues are immense. I am disappointed that the LSAC has chosen this company.

Worst testing experience I have ever…

Worst testing experience I have ever had.. it took 2.5 hours to get started and into the test. I had to exit 3-4 different times. Even showed up 2.5 hours early.. 3rd attempt 3rd fail and magically my scores the same as last time

anything but them

Attempted three online exams with three failures. The proctor was present just no exam. There is to many excuses to list. Bad sitcom that just wont be cancelled. Misinformation and incompetence is the plot. To try and change the ending I drove to a test site. The exam was cancelled due to platform failure. They were considerate enough to send me an email at 330pm that the exam was cancelled with their apology for the inconvenience. LOL Check in was at 1230 for the 1pm exam.

The booking system is almost impossible…

The booking system is almost impossible to wade through. It's like it was designed by someone that had never used a booking platform. Why companies use Prometric I'll never know.
I tried to book an exam for one of my staff and ended up, after 30 minutes of circles, giving up.
I'll be complaining to The CIOT about this too.

Not even one star

Not even one star. I tried to schedule my exams and spots kept getting filled within seconds. It pushed me a month back so I quickly scheduled what I could. I called to ask if I could get in any sooner and I'd have to pay a rescheduling fee of $35. The only reason I scheduled it was to secure a spot to not get pushed back even further hoping they could make some accommodation. Also, they couldn't help me change the order of times I already scheduled same day without paying 3 different rescheduling fees. Very ridiculous. I'm asking for minor changes.
