Unprofessional
What began as quite an amicable business tenant/landlord relationship soon floundered and then deteriorated when Manager Douglas Wilson breached GDPR, lying to me that photographs he'd taken inside my studio would not be for use in the 'public domain' and were only for the 'sales marketing booklet' but then he had them published online on Yes website, other agent websites and they ended up on Facebook aswell for all to see my personal belongings. Admin staff took the photographs down within 24 hours of my highlighting this breach. On trying to sell the property with my (rental) business as an ongoing so called 'asset' they were unprofessional in diarising appointments, turning up at my door, knocking whilst I was in the middle of a class with paying customers. Then there were two occassions where they made appointment to gain access (during my busy schedule) and then failed to let me know that the 'owner/landlord' would not be visiting after all. In regard to the rising damp which started ruining a number of items of mine, Mr Douglas Wilson explained there were certain areas (namely the basement) that were not 'included' in the contract (which had not been pointed out to me at the start of the lease) and therefore they refuted any liability and offered no assistance (or compassion to the fact that a lot of my personal belongings had become damaged by damp) at all. When it came to the end of the two year lease they made no prior communication / connection to discuss renewal (as per their lease/agreement smallprint) nor indeed did they make any contact to discuss anything, any problems, or to provide me with any information as to renewal. I left the premises in a far better state than I found them and it was only then, when keys were returned through their letterbox that they got in touch and made 4 or 5 calls to my mobile. Not sure what they wanted to discuss at that point but as a property agent they failed on many levels and lost a good reliable paying business tenant.
