Beware of self-serving property managers!

After many yrs. of utilizing rentals on vacation, we took a chance on one in Pismo Beach run by one Melinda Clemmer out of Bakersfield (a RE agent there apparently) We ran into several major issues, basically due to insufficient information in the unit; as well as a problem that occurred with prior renters that came to fruition during our stay. The point is? She doesn't live on site or in the town and when contacted? Was unapologetic and downright rude. Never have we encountered such a person in all our years of rentals on the California coast. It will be one "cold day" you-know-where before we EVER rent from her and we will pass this along to our friends & family so they don't "step into" it either.
