We were in a very difficult situation with the house we were renting and didnt know how we would afford our next house. Proportunity was there to help us out no questions asked I would fully recommend them, kind caring and understanding staff and always helpful even with finding properties for you in the area you are looking at available for any questions you may have.

Propertunity has been very helpful through out the purchase of my property and has been an extremely easy process. Would definitely recommend or use again in the future.

I have had such a wonderful experience with Proportunity right from the start when I spoke with Sophia Rawlings (Customer Success Lead) about plans of purchasing my first home. Sophia Rawlings was so helpful, positive and enthusiastic to help which put me at ease. The Broker she then recommended to me (Mortgage Force) were A star . Sarah Norman and Rhona Dallas were literally the dream team I could not fault them one bit again very cheerful and happy to help they were always a pleasure to speak with and made the journey of buying a home less nerve racking . Sarah and Rhona very clearly knowledgable and they kept me up to date and answered every query promptly. Overall My experience with Proportunity has been fantastic and I will definitely recommend as they allowed more flexibility to that of the government help to buy which enabled me to purchase my new home.

The team at Proportunity were great - the coordination between my mortgage advisor and Proportunity was seamless and it was always made clear to me what I need to do in the process to move it along. A brilliant service that enables first time buyers to get on the ladder with an equity loan but without the markup of a new build help to buy!

The process with proportunity was very smooth from start to finish. I added the property I was planning to buy to the website, waited for it to be accepted and then viewed the property. Using proportunity allowed me to afford a flat in London which I’m extremely happy about and I would highly recommend using instead of help to buy as it allows you to buy older properties which will go up in value. The website is easy to use, and the legal process was really straightforward. The whole process took 4 months from putting the offer in to moving in to my flat!

Quick application process and helpful staff. I received the maximum funds that I applied for allowing me to buy my dream first home! The only small thing to note is that the rate I was offered increased during the application process.

We were recommended to Proportunity by our Mortgage Advisor when 95% and 90% LTV mortgage products were hard to come by due to the affects of the pandemic. This was our saving grace to buy our first property in the timeline that we wanted. The process was seamless and very transparent. The team who handled our case were so efficient and helpful. I was looking to purchase a property but didn't quite have the deposit amount I needed. I had heard about Help to Buy, however I saw that the scheme was limited to new builds only.

My family did not want a new build as we wanted something with a bit more character, and I had heard that Proportunity may be able to help me as they are more flexible with the types of property you can obtain.

The team could not have been friendlier and they explained everything I needed to know about the second charge loan in a way that was clear and easy to understand. They even referred me to an in house mortgage adviser who was great in confirming my affordability and choosing a suitable mortgage product.

I have just completed on my Victorian property purchase today and could not be happier. Thank you to the Proportunity team, I cant recommend them enough.

I have been looking at getting on the property ladder since before the Pandemic started, my salary wasn't high enough as a single applicant. I was able to secure a higher paying job back in April and I saw ads for Proportunity on Instagram so I registered. I was booked in for a chat with the team and was explained the process throughout. The team went above and beyond to help me out, they passed me to a mortgage advisor who confirmed my affordability over the phone and reassured me that I would be able to proceed on my contract alone.
I started viewing properties, for which Proportunity helped me by passing on any properties within my budget and I was able to secure a property deemed by Proportunity as 15% undervalued!!
I was followed by Proportunity and my advisor throughout the whole process and I just completed last week!
I am beyond happy, I could never have done without them. Properties are so expensive in London and buying as as single person it's next to impossible.

I was looking to buy a place in East London and was considering the Help to Buy scheme, but the place I was looking at was an older property and the HTB is only for new builds.

I came across these guys after some Google searching. I was skeptical at first but I decided to jump on a call just to find out more. I spoke with Ian who was so helpful and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. I’m a first time buyer so I definitely needed a proper run down of all the details. I was walked through all the steps and what I needed to prepare for the application and then passed onto a broker to finalise the details. It was smooth and I felt like I understood each step of the process which made me feel a bit more secure.

I was super cautious since I hadn’t heard of these guys before but they’re legit and it all worked out in the end. Can’t recommend them enough!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Proportunity and will be recommending to any friends looking to buy their first home! Without Proportunity we wouldn’t have been able to afford the type of home we’ve been able to purchase for a good few years, especially as house prices have increased! When 5% deposits were pulled during lockdown, Proportunity expanding outside of London saved the day for us (we purchased in Dorset). The monthly payments worked out very similar to if we had used the governments Help to Buy scheme paying for their equity loan alongside the mortgage and meant we could go for a larger property with more land space etc. It was a no brainier for us to help get that first step on the housing ladder! The service we received was spot on, everyone is so helpful and friendly. Just do your research and go for it!

The process was smooth from proportunity.
Would advice anyone to take the time to ask "stupid" questions on how the loan works, since it is an unusual setup. The loan does what it says on the tin but it is an expensive product. Beware your ability to pay back the nominal, on top of paying the monthly fee, which only covers interest.
