My Pro Rider Road King mobility scooter aririved just 4 days from ordering (including a weekend).
I had paid for the special delivery which meant the scooter arrived fully assembled cleaned and tested and the very pleasant delivery chap could not have been more helpful in explaining everything to me and my nephew.
The alternative would have been a box of semi assembled parts delivered free but which I would have had to assemble( not practical for me to have triad).
The scooter is very well made and looks fantastic.

Whilst the help received from the dedicated service person was adequate in resolving the fault. ( control box ). I would make the following points :-
1. The service person must offer clearer/fuller instructions on how and where to find the faulty part.
2. A diagram/ set of instructions on how to remove and replace the faulty item should be essential and provided with the replacement part.
3. I would have hoped that the original faulty item would have had a longer lifespan than two years and also a guarantee should be given for these parts if they are susceptible to failure in such a short period of time after purchase.
I trust the above comments are seen as both constructive and helpful.

This is my third year using the pro rider trolley,I play at Windyhill golf course,which is indeed hilly and I have had no problems with the trolley until last week when one of the pins went on the drive shaft.i emailed the company,explained the problem and was advised what to order and within two days had the replacement parts ready to fit.
All in all a great product at a great price.

Trolley arrived well packaged. It was easy to assemble and is comprehensive in terms of accessories. The standard of finish of the base frame is different from the other parts of the frame and not as good, nor as aesthetically attractive. The battery connection is more 'fiddly' with cold hands than a 'plug and play' system would be. The top handle does not leave enough space between the top of the golf bag to fit the accessories and the score card holder impinges on the bag (The score card holder is too small for a scorecard anyway.) and a slightly longer or differently angled top tube would deal with this. It is also annoying that the trolley doesn't fold flatter - when it is in the trolley bag the hinge section of the main tube sticks up and will wear through the bag. This would be avoided if these tubes could fold flatter.
In operation the cart is fairly easy although there is an annoying pause between pressing the 'go' button and the motor starting. The top handle is not quite long enough to allow me to walk behind the cart without my feet hitting the cart as I take a step forward, meaning I must walk beside the cart. The loaded cart is a little unbalanced and tips backwards easily on many uphill parts of my local course. A brake function would be helpful as the cart will roll back on even a small slope, while the freewheel function means it runs away down a hill.
Many of these are things one can get used to and deal with in normal play, but some could/should be addressed at design and development stage.

Ordered by phone and delivered when promised. Arrived with cracked screen which was replaced by return of post. Very easy to deal with and no priblems in recommending to others.

I have not given the trolley a heavy workout yet as I have had to go away but initial impressions are:
1. The guide handle/controls are much higher than I am used to, with Powerkaddy etc. it will take some getting used to.
2.after I attached the drinks holder I could not collapse the trolley completely. I have yet to explore how I can do this but was forced to loosen the holder and turn it round.
3.The trolley arrived very quickly and was well packaged. Generally easy to assemble.


I will submit a second review after a full workout around my hilly course.

Very happy with my remote control golf trolley, had a small issue with the loss of a bolt on the front wheel, this was quickly addressed by Prorider sending me out a replacement.
Good after care service

When I recived the boxes, they we're tied together with plastic strapping, that had dug deep into the boxes, thinking that the product might be damaged, but they wasn't, it was just the inner packing that was destroyed, also on the wheels, there's a pro rider sticker, which was peeling off, I can't see that stopping on long,but apart from that it looks great.

Ordered the electric golf trolley unfortunately we had to pay more for the postage as we live in the isle of man but where pleased with the product and the extras that went with it where a nice surprise .would certainly view their site again.thank you.

Buying from Pro Leisure was a pleasure, I bought a E Wayfarer electric cycle, it was delivered on time, and is perfect, it will make my life so much

My Dad, being an avid golfer at 77, needed a replacement trolley as his current one started smoking on the golf course! I had a look online and came across the Pro Rider. It was on special offer with a lot of freebies. I ordered online and it arrived a few days later. I was told it would be delivered between 9 and 6 but received an email with a 1 hour time slot on the delivery morning between 16.10 and 17.10 and it arrived at 16.15. Everything was well packaged and my Dad was over the moon with the quality of the product and the price compared to his previous model. Hopefully it will serve him well for the next few years!

I have only used the trolley on two occasions so far. The trolley was delivered within two days of the order being placed and was simplicity itself to put together. The only slight snag I would say is that it is difficult to accommodate the scorecard holder and brolley holder on the trolley handle as the accessories interfere with the golf clubs. Still working on that one. However to have all the accessories included is a bonus.

I find Pro Rider to be an excellent company to do business with. Polite, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Anything I order arrives within 2 working days.

I have to say this is a superb bike for someone like me, a 70 year old whose legs are beginning to go but who still loves the thrill of cycling through the countryside. Easy to assemble and simple to operate it can also be an asset to cyclists of any age who would like a bit of assistance from time to time. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who has considered purchasing an electric bike. The service from the manufacturer is also to be commended. A final comment - this bike was recommended to me by two 80 year olds who ride into our town, a round trip of 14 miles, most days to do their shopping on this cycle.

Firstly, delivery, I was given date of Thursday for delivery and Thursday morning I received the bike via the courier, spot on. Be aware the box is quite big but this mainly due the the extra strong cardboard of the box and was packed very well.
Secondly the bike was more than I expected, the quality of the frame and components is second to non. It looks like a bike costing much more. The double locking on the folding parts give reassurance that this safety aspect has been well catered for. I especially liked the quick folding peddles to maximise the space saving. The finish and paint quality was to a very high standard.
Negatives? Non really but if I was to have a niggle it would be an inclusion of a front light to go with the installed rear light.
I bought just the one bike even though I wanted two just to check all the good things about this bike were true, I needn't of worried. I will order shortly the second one now

Regards the tools supplied with the bike, 1 allen key to fix handle bars To The Bike was missing, also although the tyres LOOKED great on tour web site they have VERY thin walls and not a lot of tread on them compared to cheaper mountain bikes, will prob have to replace them as I think they might puncture easily, other than that nice bike.

I bought a Pro Rider Wayfarer electric bike about three years ago, and I do admit that I rode the bike a lot to the point that my back wheel was in a dangerous state. The spokes had come loose and broken, I had broke the chain guard, and I had lost the keys to my battery. I got in contact with them about repairing my bike, and the they were very helpful, They advised that I needed to book the bike in for a service. They organised a parcel courier company to pick up my bike, and then kept me informed what repairs needed doing, so, I am happy with the service. My bike has been returned in good working order. They were trying to keep the costs low for me because sending the bike by parcel courier was expensive, but I couldn't get my bike repaired any other way. I tried Halfords who wouldn't repair it, I tried another bike repair shop, who couldn't repair it so this was the best option for me. I need my bike to commute to work as I don't drive, and the bus services are very unreliable where I live. So, I would like to say Thankyou to Pro rider and to Adam and Scott who work for them.

I would highly recommend Pro Rider ever time to my friends as I've just brought a golf trolley for my husband not only is it very good value for money very helpful staff when placing my order & it was with me in 4 working days my husband was over the moon brilliant I'm now in his good books to all thanks to Pro Rider
