Extremely poor experience from start to…

Extremely poor experience from start to finish.

We purchased a car which has suffered from ongoing faults since the day we collected it, including persistent misfiring, sluggish performance, engine management and oil warning lights, and occasional white smoke. The vehicle has been returned to the dealer multiple times and has never been repaired properly.

Each visit followed the same routine. We were told the issue was resolved, only for the fault to return almost immediately. Communication was poor, with long periods of no updates. On one visit we were promised courtesy card that was not available, left waiting for over an hour while the vehicle was briefly “plugged in”, then told there was “absolutely nothing wrong with it”, despite the fault still being present when we left.

We were told various repairs had been carried out including ignition components and spark plugs. One ignition coil fitted had its serial number and identification scratched off, which seriously undermined our confidence in the quality and legitimacy of the parts used. Despite this, the faults persisted.

We were also told the car would need to return again for another oil change, which raised serious concerns that the root cause had never been addressed.

Despite repeated requests, the dealer has failed to provide any repair documentation whatsoever. No job sheets, no diagnostic reports, no parts invoices and no paperwork to evidence the work claimed. Most alarmingly, we were later told the car had been fitted with a “new engine”, yet no invoices, engine number, mileage details or confirmation of correct registration paperwork have been provided.

Due to the repeated failed repairs, lack of transparency and refusal to provide repair records, the finance company has now opened a formal complaint.

This has been a stressful and frustrating experience and we have completely lost confidence in both the vehicle and the dealer. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious.

Absolutely Horrendous Experience with Pro Sport Cars in Hull

I strongly advise against buying a car or trading in your old vehicle with Pro Sport Cars in Hull. Both my brother and I had a terrible experience. We purchased cars on the same day, and both vehicles arrived with damaged windscreens. My brother’s car also had significant issues that needed repair. Despite promises that they would cover the repair costs, getting the money back has been a nightmare. They rarely respond to calls, and we’ve had to chase them countless times, being passed around different people without any resolution.

To make matters worse, they sold our old part exchange before even paying off the finance, leaving us stuck in a financial battle, worrying about paying for both the old and new finance. The three-month warranty they offer is meaningless, and their after-sales service is non-existent. The car we got wasn’t even properly serviced, and the MOT was barely thorough.

In short, if you’re considering Pro Sport Cars, I urge you to stay away. It’s been an absolute headache from start to finish.

Absolutely awful experience.

Absolutely awful experience.

Did not pay the finance on my part exchange, which is now on my credit record. Assured me they had paid it, the manager even lied to my face when I went in after speaking several times to him about it.

The new car that I had bought was mis-sold. It did not have the advertised features. Took 3 months of me messaging several people (including the manager, Ben), going in several times when being ignored by them and trying to call them… they had every reason under the sun as to why they had not fitted the new part to rectify it and as to why they had not been responding to me. It was his birthday, the Wi-Fi went down in the building, Land Rover was hacked, Land Rover sent the wrong parts (three times if I remember correctly) he went on holiday, his phone was stolen…

In the end, the manager apologised and said he would sort a new car. He then completely stopped responding to me and I had to deal with yet another person.

After weeks, I picked up the new car. Yet again, he had not settled the finance on the faulty car and they are again ignoring my messages about this. I drove the car home and the engine management light came on.

AVOID!

Lee was amazing from start to finish

I had seen a car on their Facebook site and thought we'd have a run out to see it first hand. We wasn't thinking of buying it at this point, just thought we would see what was about so we could weigh it up. From the moment we got there we were made to feel welcome by everyone there, Lee came out to us as we were looking around the car and wasn't pushy at all. He answered all our questions and was easy to talk to which made the experience all the more enjoyable. I knew there and then we would be buying the car and nothing was too much trouble. We will definately be using you again and recommending you to our friends. Thankyou for all you're help throughout the process

Jaguar E Pace 2021 yr

Purchased a Jaguar Epace from Prosports Cars a month ago, Lee was the sales guy, answered all my questions and told me to go for a test drive and take as long as I needed. He wasn’t a pushy sales person, very chilled out. When it come to collecting the car Paul ( service Manager ) had found a fault with the crank Pully making a noise, He said it was safe to drive but insisted I brought it back to be changed under warranty to make the car right. He order the part from the main dealer but unfortunately had to wait 2wks as it was on back order but this wasn’t an issue as the car was still safe to drive. Paul gave me a call to let me know the part had arrived in-stock and was ready to be fitted. While in the work shop the mechanic had found another part that need changing so they sorted that at the same time. After a few weeks the car started running a little rough due to an injector that had gone. Once again I contacted Paul and explained the problem and he was more than happy to get the car back into the workshop and address the problem ( also changed the part under warranty ) Just got the car back today and the car is running perfect again. So far my own personal experience from Prosports has been great before,During and after sales. I shall be using them for my Mots and repairs in the future.
Just like to say a big thanks to Lee,Paul and Joe.

Just purchase my second car with pro…

Just purchase my second car with pro sportscars, my first experience has been great as my second , based in Gloucester the transition in between cars has been very easy. Brett and Paul were fabulous and very responsive for my enquiries. And I am not an easy customer.
Thank you again and catch up in a few years. Merci 🇫🇷

Exceptional Team, Excellent Cars – A Truly Five-Star Experience

Today, I purchased my new Mercedes CLA from ProSportsCars Hull Ltd, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

The customer service and support provided were truly exceptional. Every member of the team—from the mechanics to the sales staff, and especially the owner—demonstrated outstanding knowledge and a genuine willingness to help.

I was welcomed warmly and treated with the utmost respect and courtesy throughout the entire process. A special thank you to Joe, the owner, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with—professional, approachable, and dedicated.

I highly recommend ProSportsCars, not only for their impressive selection of well-maintained vehicles but also for their talented and hardworking team who go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.

Just had my car serviced and MOT’d at…

Just had my car serviced and MOT’d at ProSportsCars and honestly can’t fault them. I was able to drop the car off early (7am) which was a lifesaver as I didn’t have to be late for work. The chap I saw when I got there (can’t remember his name unfortunately!) was really pleasant and helpful, explained everything clearly and made me feel at ease.

They also lent me a little runaround for the day which made things so much easier. Got a call in the afternoon from (I think the service manager?) to say it was all done, and he even offered to bring my car back to me and collect the loan one. Really impressed with that level of service, it’s not something you see very often these days.

Didn’t catch the names which is a shame because both of them were lovely and really helpful. Would definitely recommend ProSportsCars – great service, very professional but still friendly and down to earth.

Just purchased my second car…

Just purchased my second car from ProSportsCars, and once again, the experience was absolutely five-star. My first car from them was flawless, so I was hesitant to part with it—but Brett and Joe made the whole process smooth and reassuring from start to finish. They really took the time to understand what I was looking for and found the perfect car to match. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their customer service is genuinely outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ProSportsCars to any of my friends or family—it’s the only place I’d go for a car now!

Extremely poor after sales

No service history, one key instead of two, extra mileage added and not advertised, barely road worthy tyres; all discovered on delivery. Promised it would be sorted but low and behold it was not. Avoid buying from them, use a reputable dealer instead. Save yourself the stress, time and money.

Doggy dealership.

Car was delivered to me, in exchange of my current car. 4 weeks to pay the existing finance. I was promised the vehicle would have an MOT and service. Within a day I had to top up the car with oil and replace the wiper blades. The advert said 6 months warranty and nothing to pay for the first month. This is a lie! I have a very large chip in the windscreen which Pro sports cars have refused to pay. From the pictures the cars look decent but they are not. Poor service from the team, they lie to you and constantly make excuses. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

So after looking for a BMW 1 Series for…

So after looking for a BMW 1 Series for what seemed a life time finally Joe and ProSportscars found the one. I’m so particular in cars and always want certain boxes ticked. After searching high and wide I couldn’t find the one, Joe found it in 24 hours & it’s sat on my drive in less than 4 working days. Hassle free paperless exchange is how it should be done all the time, the most efficient and stress free car I’ve purchased!!! Couldn’t recommend Joe and the team enough, such a welcoming environment you have and I’m sure I’ll be returning in the future. 5 stars all round 🌟

DO NOT buy from here

Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards buyers. They let a buyer leave with a car that had no MOT, they miss sold her finance. Then gave her her old car back that she sold to them 3 month ago in horrendous condition that it was not sold in. It had mouldy seatbelts along with many other issues. They keep deleting reviews of people saying how bad this company is. Do not buy from or sell to this company it is horrendous and needs to be shut down.
