Brilliant guys normally service my boiler every year swear by them. Unfortunately my boiler broke on sunday night and had no hot water and heating. I phoned the guys on monday morning g and where out by mid afternoon advised us on issue and unfortunately we needed new boiler. He managed to get a boiler that day and came and fitted the boiler on Tuesday and where brilliant always friendly and chatty cleaned up after they where done and by late afternoon I had heating and hot water. Best customer service ever. Would def recommend to anyone.

The guys at Protec came to our house quickly to help us with a leaking hot water tank. We engaged their services to replace the tank; an aging boiler and upgraded us to a Hive control system. They did an excellent job, were fast and efficient and all at a competitive price. I'll be using them again if the need arises. I'd recommend them to anybody looking for heating or plumbing work to be done.

We recently had some replacement radiators fitted by the guys at Protec, and couldn't be more pleased with the result. Brian and John were professional, efficient, and courteous. They arrived on time, worked quickly without compromising quality.

The radiators are working perfectly, and the installation and removal and disposal of old ones was seamless. The guys clearly knew their stuff and explained what we could expect as the radiators bedded in etc.

Can highly recommend Protec to anyone looking for reliable, skilled service. Top marks.

Contacted Protec for a quote for a new energy efficient boiler and for the full removal of micro-bore pipework to install new 15mm copper pipework, firstly I had to call them twice to get them to survey in-order to provide a quote , secondly it has been 9 days since they surveyed and still waiting on their quote. Not good customer service . ( Thanks for your reply and sorry to hear of family issues however I don’t chase to give companies work and a simple text to customers to advise of the situation is all that is required ) PS I still don’t have your quote and don’t need it now!

The guys came to the rescue a few days ago when my boiler was condemned, came to my house not long after making the phonecall and they gave us different options, different types of boilers and discussed with us what we were looking to get out of our heating system. We picked our boiler and it was fitted today, their knowledge is great, their work was very neat and professional. Would recommend them highly.

John was great. talked me through all me options and didn't push me to go for the most expensive. He was there when he said he would be, and the bill was exactly what he said it would be. I highly recommend his services.

Recently replaced our old boiler and radiators, no hesitation in using Protec having had a good previous experience. Brian and John friendly and professional, arrived on time, completed on time, cleaned up and removed all rubbish after completing the job. Very happy with their work. Would recommend to anyone needing plumbing or heating work done to a high standard.

I used John and the good folk at Protec for the first time this week to take care of a small job which I couldn't do myself. They did the job exactly when they said they would, charged what we'd agreed with no nasty surprises, and communicated in a clear and timely way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and will definitely be using them for future jobs.

I had used Protec’s service before and was impressed. I’d no hesitation in contacting them when our existing boiler needed replacing. Brian got in touch that same day to discuss the issue and followed it up with detailed quotes with an offer to discuss these. I was very impressed with how he took the time to explain and answer all of the questions asked. Brian and John turned up as arranged and got on with their work very professionally. They were both polite and friendly.. They are tidy workers and ensured the carpets were protected whilst they got on with the job, they cleaned up before leaving. Brian and John explained the boiler controls, and registered the warranty whilst there (which the manufacturer confirmed and emailed me the following day). I’m really pleased with the new boiler and also with Protec‘s outstanding service from initial contact to completion of the job. Many thanks.

We first used Protec 7 years ago to install a boiler for us. Also to maintain the annual service. The guys are efficient, knowledgeable & turn up when they say which is unusual these days!!

So when we moved recently there was no question as to who we would go to for our new boiler and work needed - Protec.

Once again Brian & John did not let us down we are delighted with the work they have done and their cheerful chatter & their Henry Hoover cleaned up behind them.

I recently had ProTec in to diagnose a fault with my heating system. The team were responsive on email and attended later that week (its summer so wasn't immediately in need of assistance). Brian and John were knowledgeable and diagnosed the fault within half an hour, and put together a plan to resolve the issue a few days later.

I ended up asking them back to look at replacing the boiler and they talked over various options. We proceeded with the install of one of the latest Vallient system boilers. The team installed and commissioned the new boiler in a day, including a flush of the entire heating system. They even took the time to tidying up and replace some messy pipework installed by the property developers some years ago. Before leaving, Brian went over the boiler controls and features, even registered the 10 year warranty with Vallient on my behalf.

I look forward to seeing them annually for the boilers service.

First class service from the guys. My elderly parents were moving into a better property though needed central heating.
John and Brian done an excellent job going above and beyond to help us with any queries we had.
They were prompt and efficient in all aspects of the work.

We have just had a new boiler installed by John and Brian from PROTEC Plumbing ,we also had new thermostats and valves fitted to all our radiators .John and Brian are so professional , they are hardworking , reliable , conscientious and so efficient .They are also so very friendly and take time to explain everything they do . They even tidy up and leave your house immaculate . We could not recommend them enough and will definitely use them for any future plumbing work we need done . We can’t thank them enough . Two really honest and lovely guys .
