Have always used Protein World for many…

Have always used Protein World for many years but their customer service has slipped.
Paid for a 1-2 day delivery. A week after not arriving they finally replied to my messages saying product was out of stock, but would kindly change flavour so it could be dispatched in 24hrs. Any issues contact them. I followed their instructions and waited another week on and now no replies to two emails (barring in mind they said to contact them if no news in 24hrs)
No product, no replies to messages, paid for 1-2 day delivery and no product.
Don’t know what has happened to Protein World but I will never use them again.

Cannot fault the company my order…

Cannot fault the company my order arrived quickly however it was not the full order. I raised an issue with the company and within a matter of days I had the remaining part of my order.
Looking forward to trying these out but great service 👍

Awful customer service and false advertising

I am very disappointed in protein world. I went onto the website last night to place an order, was pleasantly greeted with a 50% off whole site banner. Added the slender plan to my basket, tried to put the code in and wouldn’t work, tried multiple things in the basket code payyay50 as advertised would not work for anything. I left a comment on their Instagram page on a picture which was advertising the code and asked for some help, I received a message on Instagram this morning at 7.06 which read

Hey Ellie,

Thanks for getting in touch with Protein World.

I’m sorry to hear your having issues using our promo code.

Can you please confirm if your trying to use this code on a one time purchase or a subscription order. As our promo codes only work on one time orders.

If you are trying to use it on a one time order, please place the order and once you get your confirmation email pop over your order number and I’ll process a 50% refund.

Hope to hear from your soon.

To which I replied saying it was a one time purchase I was trying to make on the slender plan, they read that message and didn’t reply, I sent another message with a screenshot of me trying to use the code explaining I’m eager to purchase does the code work on the slender bundle, they read this message and never replied. I then sent another message explaining it was very frustrating seeing someone read my messages and not replying to me to which someone instantly replied ‘hey the 50% is not live now x’ and another message saying it ended yesterday. HOW CONVENIENT. Yet the message they sent me this morning read that I could place an order and they would refund me the 50%, that message was sent TODAY. I still should have been granted this offer as it was explained to me I would receive 50% refund if I placed the order TODAY. Appalled with the communication and false advertising/promises.

Sort it out.

5* customer service

I recently ordered from their website and made the mistake of not pressing apply when adding a voucher code before paying. I emailed the team to cancel and the order had already been dispatched (really fast processing!) so they simply refunded me the amount the voucher was worth with no issue. Very fast and helpful service, thanks so much! Can’t wait to try the products.

Shocking.

Shocking.

I took out a subscription to allow regular deliveries at a discounted rate.

I attempted to cancel s number of times, but was unable to access my account to do so.

I ensured to request cancellation. Despite a number of chase emails it took a month to hear back from them to get my subscription.

Awful delivery and non-existent customer service

If I could, there would be ZERO stars! Not so much for the product but for the delivery and shocking customer service, or the lack of to be precise.
Like many others below, I placed an order, paid £4.99 for delivery promised to be in 1-2 working days. When it didn't arrive within 4 days, I contacted delivery@PW email address (the only available contact - it is clear why there is no number) to no avail. When the order didn't arrive for another 5 days or so I contacted them again, also no response. The order eventually arrived after two weeks but I am still waiting for a reply to my email/complaint. A real shame because the products are good - I used them before - but this experience has not been great!

Ordered Slenderblend as a first time customer, however I am now well over the 1-2 day delivery quoted.
I have had no response to an email sent to customer services, and no response to Instagram message.
Shocking customer service... who knows if I will ever receive the product Ordered,or get my money back.

Missing item

Placed an order it arrived quickly however an item was missing from my order which is hugely disappointing given that I have paid for something I’ve not had! I Emailed customer service to get an automated reply saying that emails would be replied to in 24hrs well that’s been and gone and no correspondence or reply back I’ve now sent another but don’t hold out much hope! Shocking service from this company! A real shame as products are good but awful service from them!

Order still not delivered

Placed an order on 19/4/2022 order stated delivery in 1-2 days.
However I still have not received my order. I contacted customer service and and receive a response stating it would be looked into however 2 days later I am yet to receive any form of response or update.
I love the products, I have ordered before and never had this issue.
My order has always been on time and with me in 1-2 days. It’s extremely disappointing that I find a brand I love and is helping me to loose weight yet I cannot rely on my delivery coming when stated. I have 1 day left of shakes and this needs sorting ASAP!

I placed an order on 19/4/22 when…

I placed an order on 19/4/22 when protein works website was offering 50% off orders. You couldn’t miss it, big banner on their home page. Just to add, I got a follow up email the following day saying that the 50% off had been extended.
I went ahead and placed my order which is order #PW252746. The 50% did not come off my order, but in a panic that the promo would be off soon and that I was completely out if my shakes, I went ahead and placed the order even though I was charged full price.
Fast forward 8 days, I still haven’t received my order (even though it’s 1-2 day delivery) and still no response from customer service regarding the discount. I did however get 1 response regarding the delivery 3 days ago, a customer service rep said they’d look into it the issue, but still no reply.
I understand being busy, I work in retail, but to charge someone full price when you’re advertising a discount and then not send the order is really bad. I love the products and I’ve never had an issue before, but please sort this out !!

Tasty product, poor service

The products taste good but unfortunately their despatch/deliveries is some of the worst I have experienced.

You are also often charged premium delivery prices for quick delivery and no mention of any delivery fee refund when your order arrives over two weeks late.

I set up a subscription in the hope the service would be better but they didn't take any money nor process the orders. You'll spend a lot of time chasing up orders which is not worth the hassle.

Awful customer service & delivery

Ordered from them shipping stated 1-2 days , a week later it’s not even been dispatched , I’m going away next week so this poses a problem for delivery and I’m out of powders an unable to buy any more as they have my £90 !!! The products are fantastic but the shipping awful. Customer service not good either no response se to emails and the reply in social media is it’s not dispatched we’ll let you know when it is we have no timescale. No option to cancel for refund either ! They need to state they have delays on the website and take off the 1 to 2 days delivery.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! I ordered 3 weeks back for next day delivery, website says processing takes one day so was execting 2-3 days max. Nothing, so I emailed and requested an update as well as a refund for my delivery charge. The response I got was they were having trouble getting stock in - then dont sell what you dont have! They did refund my delivery money. 3 days after this I get a email from DHL with tracking information which just shows they have requested delivery with them. It then takes them another 8 days to actually give DHL the goods. I emailed a second time and was ignored. Also there marketing is non stop, giving me discounts when I dont even have the first product I ordered. I will never buy products from them again, they are an absolute joke of a company.

Wrote a review for a product I bought…

Wrote a review for a product I bought and they immediately deleted it because I gave them 1 star. As you can see from other people saying the same thing below, they consistently delete reviews that don’t get 4/5 stars to try and keep their image up. I wish more people would check their 1/2 star average reviews on trust pilot instead of believing the fake ones on the website that they control themselves. Their workout book costs £20 with £5 delivery that would have cost a pound to post with a stamp it’s that thin. It says 12 weeks of workouts when it’s actually barely 3 weeks, in total there’s only 9 short and very generic workouts. You’re supposed to repeat the generic workouts again and again to reach their supposed 12 week plan. For £20 a lot more effort could have gone into producing more than a handful of exercises. Stuff you can get off YouTube for free. They don’t mention you need equipment as it’s marketed for beginners but one part needs resistance bands and some need dumbbells- stating you can use a tin from your kitchen cupboard doesn’t help since they barely weigh anything and certainly won’t get you results. Half the booklet is just advertisements for their products. And getting a refund is a nightmare. Had to pay for return shipping and claim it back through PayPal.

Ordered at the start of January

Ordered at the start of January, still no order. They have taken my money, had multiple emails back and forth. Now they are ignoring me, I would just like my order or know where the order is?!

This isn’t the first time this has happened, I’m glad you can pick up most things in retail shops. But this is ridiculous every order I order with them this happens.

Either add the whole range to retail shops or actually send out orders. Also improve in the customer service so I’m aware of what’s happened not left in the dark.

Took payment - no delivery

I rarely write negative reviews, don’t like to do it. However, this has to be the worst experience I’ve had ordering online in a long, long time. Ordered over 3 weeks ago, took my money, no delivery. No response to my 4 emails. No telephone or other way to contact. Just want my money back now.
