Extremely Unprofessional and…

Extremely Unprofessional and Intimidating Experience

I would strongly advise others to be cautious based on my recent experience at this branch.

I attended the dealership to cancel a car order. The cancellation was fully within the terms of the contract I had signed, and I approached the situation calmly and respectfully.

When I informed the salesperson that I wished to cancel, they went to get the store manager. The manager then came over to our desk and the entire tone of the interaction immediately changed.

While he did not explicitly say that we could not cancel, his manner and approach were confrontational and pressuring. He repeatedly emphasised that the car had already been ordered and continued to question our decision. Despite us clearly stating several times that we had simply changed our minds, he persistently demanded to know why.

As customers, we are entitled to exercise our contractual rights without being pressured or made to feel uncomfortable. The repeated questioning and tone used felt unnecessary and intimidating.

What should have been a straightforward administrative process turned into an unpleasant experience due to the manager’s attitude.

The most disappointing part is that we were actually planning to purchase a different vehicle from the same dealership. However, after this interaction, we no longer felt comfortable proceeding with any purchase.

Professionalism and customer respect should be a priority at management level. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

WISH I COULD LEAVE NO STARS

WISH I COULD LEAVE NO STARS
I bought a car in 2024 - firstly the gear box went, tried calling them no answer, i took out a service plan else where to cover bits like this (thank god) then see I have warranty with them that I wasnt told about. the car should have been recalled when they had it as well and wasnt so I got this sorted at the same time.
a few months ago I was driving and my car broke down, called breakdown with the company I have now pay for warranty and breakdown, THEY TOLD ME THE WRONG BATTERY WAS IN MY CAR AND WAS LEAKING SULFUR INTO THE CAR, I saw this and have tried calling you get the nicest people taking the calls but NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK, Ive requested managers call me back and still nothing.
DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE THE SALE HAS GONE THROUGH, when you do a job yourself similar this is just shocking - after care is just as important

Not honest or transparent - avoid

Did not list information on a Tesla we reserved to state it had all alloy wheels scuffed, inside of the door dented and slight tear in one of the wheels. Also did not reduce in light of this. We do not trust this dealership so walked away. Now £1000 has been added to the listing. Beware!

Con artists

They sold me a car with 2 keys one of which wasn't a genuine Audi key, we tried to get the price down obviously the sales person did the figures came back and he had took the gap insurance off without informing us even though we had requested it. They promised to send the right key and upon calling several times due to the turnover of staff there was no handover notes so got fobbed off. Disgusting and needs to be shut down dodgy dealers.

Cowboys. Thought I was in the Wild West.

Went to buy a car paid £500 holding deposit for a week. Wonderful people couldn't do enough to please you, well over the phone anyway. Travelled from Grimsby where unfortunately there was an insurance problem which only came to light about 3 minutes after signing the forms. So had to decline the car. Very disappointed. Suggested I go home and see if I could sort the insurance out, but was unable to. Phoned the next about 9.30 am but both Dave Mears and Luke Fenn were in a meeting. Late that afternoon I got a phone call from Dave Mears asking what was happening, yes typical hadn't received my message. Communication? what communication. I then was interupted with my telephone call from a Tom X who informed me if I don't by the car I can say goodbye to £500 as the deposit is non-refundable. I was spoken to like something the cat dragged in. Rude well I do not expect to be spoken to like that from anyone let alone a salesman who is after all a company employee. After many Emails a couple of phone calls the only way to get my money back was to get the bank involved and got it back after 3 - 4 weeks. But this was only because I had used a Debit Card to pay. If I had not used a card I would still be waiting.
If everything had gone through and I had driven the car away I would be paying for bodywork and interior protection which was not done. Crooks.
Keep well away, they are great until they have got you then the true colours emerge. Two Faced
Like others I have dealt with many dealers in 60 years and some were back street ones but even they were better thans this lot. Inconsiderate.
They are AA certified to which the AA have been informed and with a bit of luck will loose the AA certification.
How many people have been duped I dread to think.
So Please do not use them, and reading some of the comments I am not alone. So Be Warned. Use them at your peril.

My experience at pure cars has been…

My experience at pure cars has been draining to say the least, they have sold me a car with 2 tyres bald and 2 cracked, all 4 tyres were 7 years old and mix between summer and winter which you should never do, the brake discs and pads needed replacing and suspension.I have a 2 month old baby which they saw and still give me this car in this condition.

The communication is so poor it is worrying how that place is still running, It took me 2 weeks of ringing everyday to get a date to collect the car, then making them aware of rattling noises(suspension) to them booking it in to get a diagnostic then again to fix part of it then again to fix the rest. I made them aware of the condition of my tyres after skidding continuously and they didn’t really seem to care, they booked me in the garage in a weeks time and told me my car was safe to drive after telling them multiple times it is not and I have a newborn in the car with me everyday.it took for multiple different people to ring up demanding it gets in the garage sooner for them to do anything and eventually gave me a courtesy for the duration it was in the garage.

I don’t usually complain but I have never had such a bad experience. This is so dangerous and I don’t know how they get away with it

I bought my Mercedes Convertible from Purecars/Cars2

I bought my Mercedes Convertible from the Pure Cars showroom.
The salesman promised to have the car fully valeted, chips sorted and any issues addressing prior to delivery. No updates, no news and eventually after 3 calls the car was delivered 2 weeks later. The car was delivered with one tyre deflated. On inspecting the car I was shocked, as none of the work has been done, and at best had had a quick wash.
The car was delivered with stains on the seats, makeup around the rear passenger area, and soft top with jet washed zig zags covering the hole roof.
On finding this, I escalated my concerns the the Cars2 MD. The car again was picked up. Cars2 had the car 3 days and when it came back.. the tyre had been pumped up and they had given the seats a token clean... and nearly forgot, had applied tyre shine. I have since spent £150 for a proper valet. False promises, shocking customer service, ghosted calls from the female service manager. I WILL NEVER BUY from Cars2 & Pure Cars again. Their Delivery Driver however is an extremely helpful and polite man and was the only positive part of my experience.

Bought a BMW 530d x-drive from this…

Bought a BMW 530d x-drive from this company a few months ago, only had it two days when the engine management light came on with an adblue fault.
I called the Garage and spoke to Dan (Sales Manager) he asked me to get a diagnostic check done and send it to him.
The check threw up another couple of faults that needed sorted as well as the adblue problem.
The warranty wouldn’t have paid out enough to cover the repairs so the remaining balance was sorted by PureCars!
I’d like to thank Dan for dealing with the Warranty company for me, his professionalism and customer service was excellent and I’d have no problem in the future buying another car from this company!

These people are a bunch of clowns and are prepared to sell family cars with faulty brakes. Apparently working brakes are optional extra in their world. Avoid. I was gaslighted time and time again how these people sleep at night I have no idea.

Zero aftercare

!! Zero aftercare service Avoid at all costs !!

I purchased a 36k performance BMW from this dealership in May, during the buying process I was informed 4 tyres would be replaced due to the tread being low and the current ones were Michillen.
After driving roughly 4k miles in the veichle I have had to purchase 3 out of the 4 tyres including replacing a cracked alloy wheel as the tyres fitted were the cheapest you could buy for this veichle. The manufacturer specification is run flat tyres hence why it doesn't come with a spare, an independent tyre fitter couldn't believe a car of this magnitude was fitted with such poor budget tyres which ultimately blew out and cracked one of the alloy wheels. Even more worrying, one of the wheels had the bolts done up finger tight which could have resulted in a serious road accident, exactly who is even checking something so critical and simple ?
I spoke to James a service manager and conveniently he then kept avoiding my calls after he said he would look into it, the fact he's meant to be after sales management yet can't even return calls just shows he's stealing a living. Another manager called Dan ultimately contacted me to say they wouldn't be giving any sort of contribution and it's down to me, good luck speaking to this muppet as all he likes to do.is talk over you without letting you get your point across.
If you're like me, you take buying a new car seriously and reviews play a big part on making your assumptions from who to buy from, believe me do not overlook this review and go elsewhere as the aftercare here is non existent
Just look at the recent reviews, it seems there's a trend on how shoddy this dealership is. Save yourself money and look elsewhere

Would offer zero stars if possible.

Would offer zero stars if possible.

Bought BMW X4M in Feb 2024 and sold with full main dealer service history to later find out the car was serviced by a mickey mouse garage who BMW don't recognise.

Due to this my sale to BMW fell through. Purecar tried to offer a buy back from
me due to the fallen sale but offered £2k less than what BMW offered. Very Disappointing.

Avoid at all costs!!!!!

Unprofessional and unreliable...

Possibility the worst organisation I have ever dealt with in the car industry. Beware dealing with this company. Agreed to purchase a car from me. Booked collection on a day where I had to take time off from work. When I contacted the collections company on day of collection they advised me that Cars2 (PureCars) had changed their mind but did not even have the decency to contact me. Will review on all other platforms where Cars2 have presence.

Do not buy from here

Do not buy from here. Mislead and deceived. Lie to get you to make a purchase, but then ignore you when there is an issue which is down to them and their staff. Liam Morley lied about the spec and previous ownership of a VW Golf R. Received the V5 on the 26th July and that’s when I first contacted Pure Cars and spoke to Jasmin Hodgson and she advised ‘if Liam or the manager doesn’t give you a call, I will’. Obviously she didn’t. Emails were ignored, phone calls were always ‘they’re not here at the minute’, went down to the dealership in person and Liam apologised, basically admitting he was at fault, spoke with the sales manager, Joe Chilaka, he stated ‘from a consumer point of view I agree with you and I would be feeling the same’ then just fobbed me off and gave me an email for their compliance team. Joe advised I would hear back from them within 48 hours on 30th July, I’ve emailed Joe twice chasing up on this and have just been ignored. It’s now the 4th August and still haven’t heard anything back.
