I had a 5 year old whole house water filter that I couldn't turn and open up to get the used filter. I decided to buy a new one on Amazon as this model, FHN10BB, had a pressure release valve which I liked to make replacements easier. The instructions came without one critical piece of information: How do you attach the filter to the mounting bracket when the holes on the filter are smooth? What amazed me the most that there was no mention at all about how to attach the filter to the wall. 4 emails that took 19 days to go back and forth still did not give me the answer. I thought I was dealing with a foreign company who had to translate my requests. NO INSTRUCTIONS STILL. I felt like I was asking for the nuclear codes to a patriot missile as I had to prove I bought the $45 product over and over again. Good luck out there.

Found it o. Our website. Easy to identify by type and number. Easy to order. Price was a 2:1 ratio.
Discontinued After 1 Year – No Support, No Accountability
Bought a PurePlus countertop filter system in Jan 2024, thinking it was a smart investment. The price seemed justifiable since the filters were supposed to be replaceable every 6–12 months—clearly a product meant for long-term use.
Well, guess what? We never even got to replace the filter once. Both the machine and its filters were discontinued just a year after purchase. No warning, no customer support, just a “sorry for the inconvenience” and then silence.
Now we’re stuck with an expensive piece of plastic that’s completely useless. Extremely disappointed. If you’re considering buying from PurePlus—don’t.
*Update March 29:
PurePlus responded below trying to shift the issue to Amazon. For the record, I’ve only been in contact with PurePlus official customer service (same email address) from the start. I was told the machine and filters were discontinued, and after that, all follow-ups were ignored.
Now they claim they “can’t see any previous correspondence.” This just goes to show how reliable and genuine their post-purchase support really is. Still no replacement, no refund, no accountability.
*Update March 31:
PurePlus has now responded to my previous email directly regarding the issue, and we’re currently in communication. I’ll update this review once there’s a resolution.
*Update April 4:
After finally getting a response from PurePlus via email, I was offered a “trade-in” discount if I purchased their new countertop hot and cold water system. However, there was only one such product on their website, and it was already on sale, so it wasn’t clear whether the 50% discount was an actual trade-in offer or just referencing the existing promotion.
I responded on Monday asking for clarification and the product link. It’s now Friday, and I’ve received no response.
At this point, it’s clear that their customer support is inconsistent and unwilling to follow through. Still no resolution, no accountability.
Just to be clear—this review isn’t meant to stir up drama. It’s to warn other customers and hopefully push for some basic accountability. So far, their customer service has been slow, evasive, and lacking any real sense of responsibility or service commitment.

Undersink water filter came with a defective o-ring. I could not use it.
Customer Service, specifically Iris, worked with me and stayed on the issue until it was resolved.

Careful Who You Let Represent You.
Its a great machine and i installed the new membrane and filter, easy-peasy. It was not as easy to identify your company as “the manufacturer”. I purchased your RO from a secondary company who made certain the name of your company was not visible on the machine. And when asked repeatedly they refused to identify your company or disclose your model information or you as the maker or even as a supplier of replacement cartridges UNLESS i first agreed to schedule and pay a marked up price for the parts, a fee for a “service call” and an additional fee for their tech to install the cartridges. I give your machine 5stars but the company i bought it from gets -0-.
