Quality products

Used this company a number of times now. High quality products which are well made and do what they say. Staff are helpful . Sometimes delivery takes a while due to products being made to order. This is to be expected. Thanks again for 2 more fab products!

If I could give more stars I would!

My experience with dealing with customer services at Putnams was excellent. I spoke to Tracey who was friendly, knowledgeable about their products and very helpful.

I rung them as I was having trouble with my gerd and had been struggling to sleep as it was so bad. She said the full bed wedge would be best for my gerd but unfortunately their was a 10 day wait as there was a delay on the foam covers. Tracey did say however that she would try to escalate it and get it out to me asap. To my surprise, I had a message come through saying it was going to be delivered just 2 days later.

Many thanks Tracey for getting this out to me so quickly. Your a credit to the Putnams team.

Delivery situation extremely poor

I ordered a bed wedge from Putnams. It was a large and bulky item. It was not delivered on the arranged day, or the subsequent day. I was then away from home so I requested that the parcel be returned to sender and redelivered at a different time. I understand this was not Putnams fault. Putnams agreed to arrange this with the courier.

However this did not happen. The parcel was instead delivered to a neighbour over a week after the arranged delivery date but before I returned home. Again not Putnams fault.

Putnams called me about this. When I am disabled and getting the extremely large and bulky parcel from several doors away would be a very challenging prospect for me and also that I wasn’t happy that the parcel had been left with a neighbour against instructions., their suggestion was basically that I should just leave it at my neighbours house and wait until he complained directly to them because their address is on the box and then they would collect it from him.

When I wanted to speak further about this the representative just kept repeating that there is nothing else they can do and that she would let me get on with my day.

My suggestion that they contact courier and ask the courier to provide a solution was instantly dismissed. I am very angry and disappointed with this both he courier and with Putnams attitude to the issue which was basically to wash their hands of the situation.

Refilling of sofa cushions

Refilling of sofa cushions
Our sofa had become uncomfortable and the cushions were too heavy to keep plumping up. The cushions have now been refilled and it looks like a new sofa and is so much more comfortable. Service has been excellent and we are delighted with our sofa.

Good but…

Suffering from certain neck issues I purchased this pillow to support my neck whilst sitting. I find that not only is the pillow too short in length but it is not wide enough to give great support and I am constantly moving the pillow to make my neck comfortable. The design is a great idea and it is a good quality, if the length was slightly longer and the width slightly wider and a bit thicker this would be a great pillow for support of the neck.

ThBe aware: the product sold as a “Sciatica Cushion” is not a specialist item.e company has confirmed in writing…

The company has confirmed in writing that the Sciatica Cushion and their Sero Pressure Cushion are exactly the same product, identical in materials and construction. They are listed under different names purely for marketing and search purposes, with no clear disclosure to customers at the point of purchase.
If you are buying this believing it to be a cushion specifically designed for sciatica, you are not getting a distinct or specialist product, just a generic pressure cushion with a different label.
Customers should make an informed decision before buying

Oustanding Experience

I cannot recommend this small, genuinely family run company enough. They are responsive, knowledgeable, helpful and wholeheartedly honest (my quoted price reduced when they actually recevied my cushions). If every Company was as good to deal with as these guys the world would be a better place!

Like many I had bought feather filled cushions as part of my furniture from Loaf, a decision I came to wholeheatedly regret. Putnams sorted this out for me very professionally, replacing them with foam cushions and it's honestly like we have new sofas again. Having done a price check elsewhere I can assure you their prices are more than reasonable too. Use them!

A wee update. Now we've had our new cushions for a while we have decided to replace the back cushions for the big sofa as the foam isn't particularly comfortable on a big cushion. I'd ask about this before replacing.

It’s like a new sofa

We had a sofa that had always been uncomfortable from the day it was delivered. The cushions needed constant plumping and it got to a point that I avoided sitting on it due to the fact it was giving me a bad back. We were close to getting rid and laying out on another sofa when I looked into getting the cushioned restuffed. I found Putnams online and read the reviews and thought it was worth the gamble. I’m happy to say it was. Really good service from start to finish, and the sofa looks so much better and is now a pleasure to sit on. The whole process took about two weeks.
Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic refilled foam sofa cushions

From the moment I first contacted Putnams they were so helpful and responsive.

After a few years of constant plumping, we wanted to change the fillings from feather to foam in our loaf sofa.. we are absolutely delighted with the refilled cushions! they are amazing and I only wish I had got them done sooner… It’s given the whole room a new lease of life. The sofa is so comfortable and NO MORE PLUMPING!!

The service was so quick.. less than 2 weeks from sending the covers to receiving the fully refilled cushions… I would definitely recommend Putnams to anyone who is looking for a similar service

Bed Wedge caused me neck & shoulder pain

I purchased this bed wedge because it was advertised to use for side sleepers. I Used following the guidelines. Big mistake as now suffering with neck and shoulder pain! After complaining Putnams refused to give me a full refund & refunded me a small amount because protective cover was removed & they don't refund if the plastic cover is removed!. It was not fit for my purpose as a side sleeper. Lot of money to pay for pain!! Left with a personal injury now. I'm not the only person who had problems after using this product if you check reviews. 65695 Oder number
