Great for sleep + temperature tracking. Not ready for real workouts.

I really wanted to like the QALO QRNT Slim Ring. I primarily bought it for sleep and temperature monitoring to help track my cycle — and for that purpose, it’s decent.

But for workouts? It’s honestly pretty disappointing.

Major issues:
• You have to manually start and stop workouts in the app, and every time it has to re-sync with the ring, which can take a minute or more. This makes it impractical for real training.
• Auto workout detection is unreliable. During a typical Orangetheory or CrossFit session, it might only capture random 10-minute segments of a full hour workout.
• The app frequently logs me out completely, forcing me to log back in and re-set up the device. That alone is enough to kill consistency.
• Workout and recovery insights are extremely basic and often misleading.

The “vitality score” algorithm makes very little sense for active people. My score is often higher on days I don’t work out. For example, after completing a half marathon, my vitality score was lower than the following rest day when I did literally nothing.

Sleep scoring is also rigid to the point of being unrealistic:
• Anything under 7 hours is flagged as low sleep (even by a minute).
• Anything over 8 hours is flagged as oversleeping.
After a half marathon, I slept 9.5 hours — which was appropriate recovery — and the app penalized me for “too much sleep.”

That tells me the system isn’t designed for athletes or highly active users.

Bottom line:
This ring works fine as a sleep and temperature tracker, but it’s not ready for serious fitness or training. If you do structured workouts, intervals, or functional fitness, you’ll likely find it frustrating.

I’d only recommend this to someone who primarily wants passive health tracking — not performance or recovery insights.

Horrible experience so far

Tried to order their new slim smart ring. Ordered the sizing kit that comes with the code to redeem the ring after you choose your size. The code sent with the sizing kit did not work on the website. I’ve now been waiting 3 weeks for a response from customer service. It seems that I’m just out the $200 because it says the sizing kit is final sale, which I did not see when ordering. So now I can’t even get my ring ordered or help from their non existent customer service. Don’t waste your time or money on this company. Wish I had seen reviews before I ordered. They delete anything negative you comment on social media I didn’t know.

I ordered a little slim smart ring

I ordered a little slim smart ring. It stopped working after a week. I sent it back. They stopped. Emailing me won’t send me any emails. Haven’t refunded me won’t send me a new ring. Not sure what’s going on. Don’t buy from them. I will not recommend them or will not buy from them ever again I spent $400 on Qalo smart rings and have none because of the failures and they will not respond to my emails

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. The ring quit working after two weeks and customer service is nonexistent. I’ve emailed several times with no reply and there’s no way to speak to anyone for a return or refund.

Don’t NOT waste your money on the smart…

Don’t NOT waste your money on the smart ring. It worked for one month and then would not reconnect to the app. I called customer service, I emailed, and I’ve tried every way possible to fix the issue. They don’t respond to emails and they don’t care to solve any issues. Go ahead and spend $100 more for the original company who came out with the smart ring. Don’t get GOT like I did.

Do not Order from this Company - it's a scam

Husband ordered me a ring - upon ordering he got a prompt that asked if he wanted to add a discount, no indication of additional charge was mentioned. He clicked the button and it automatically added a second ring for an additional $20 (cost of the first ring). He reached out to them and they said they can't cancel the second ring once an order had been placed and he would have to return it once it's received. What a scam. Do not recommend this company.

Reading the other reviews for this company, I'm now worried the order will never even get received. This way they won't have to discount any of the money. What a bunch of crooks.

I have reached out to Qalo on instagram…

I have reached out to Qalo on instagram and via email for an order I never received. They told me to reach out to the post office and quit responding to emails. The order was returned to sender, so calling the post office would be fruitless. Normally a company would just resend the order, but they won’t do it. They have a link saying you can reorder lost or stolen items. But then you get to the website to do that and you can’t. The only option is to exchange for items you don’t have and never got. They conveniently have comments turned off on all social media platforms and you can’t leave reviews on their websites. Awful customer service don’t waste your money or time.

Not quality materials/ design

The rings are not quality in their materials or construction. I ordered the leaf/ vine women's ring, and within 6 months 5 leaves had broken off. Then the whole band snapped at 9 months. I work a desk job crunching numbers, so I don't think I was being hard to the ring at all. It simply cannot stand up to everyday wear. The company does offer a one time replacement, but I imagine the same problems will reoccur.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. As in non existent. I accidentally selected an old shipping address for my order to go to.
I immediately tried to find a phone number to call.
There is NONE. No way to reach them.
You email a generic support email and wait.
I was told there was no way to change my shipping address, and to have a good day. The email reply offered no other help.
Another email to the generic support email, then asking if I can cancel. Since you can't change my shipping address, can I just cancel the order, and I received no reply at all. Radio silence.
I get that these are inexpensive silicone rings, but it's still my hard earned money that I spent on them. And I made a mistake, I get that too. But absolutely zero help is available. Some other lucy individual will receive my Qalo order and I will order from one of the many other options. I will not be ordering from Qalo ever again.

I have now had 2 rings break

I have now had 2 rings break. The first one after a year, so I just purchased another. That one broke after a month. Their website provides links for contact, but the link doesn't take you anywhere. After emailing, and getting we strive to respond in 3 days. Nothing happened, it has been well over a week and no response from them.

My husband purchased a mama Strata ring that was supposed to be engraved with mama on it. When you add the ring to your cart it automatically puts the customization charge in your cart. Went through with the purchase, which was a Mother’s Day gift. Finally got the ring and it was blank. Nothing on it only thing was qalo on the inside.

Needless to say that my husband was pissed he not only spend 30 some dollars to get a blank ring that you paid to customize. Ridiculous. So he tried to return it and when clicked on returns lo and behold there was a little verbiage that states customization is down until May 22. If you purchase a ring with customization you will get a blank ring. Which is what we got.

We looked the whole website over at least 10 times and nowhere does it say that customization is down. This is the worst I have ever seen from a place that calls themself a company. Plus if you try to return the ring you can only exchange it. Or only get half my money back which is ridiculous. I will never in my life ever buy from this company again. It needs to go bankrupt!!

Stay away from this company!!!

Stay away from this company! On 04/02 I ordered a ring w/normal shipping. Website states all orders will be shipped within 6 business days.

On 04/13 (8 business days later), I emailed asking why my order hadn't shipped yet.

Crickets.....

On 04/17, I emailed again inquiring what is happening with my order from 15 days ago.

FINALLY, on 04/20, I rec'd a "order has shipped" email.

On 04/23 (10 days after my initial "where is my order?" email) I get a response about how they are moving their warehouse (not an excuse!). This same day, I finally rec'd the ring - 21 days later.

HOWEVER, I had already gone to Dick's Sporting Goods last weekend (04/20) and bought the same ring there. Easy peasy!

So, now I am trying to return the QALO one. Do you think they are replying? NOPE.

They appear to have a 30 day return policy, but when I tried to use their website form for RETURNS & REFUNDS, it was not giving me an option to return it for my money back - only for a CREDIT. This is the message it gives me: "A combination of your products has caused both refunding options to be blocked."

What the heck does that even mean other than scam return policy? So, we'll see how long it takes me to successfully return it, not expecting much!

This company is TERRIBLE😤.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I would not recommend the company at…

I would not recommend the company at all! I placed my order on 3/21 and never receive my order. The first week I got a response from the about the warehouse moving etc so they would update me with a shipping email. It’s been a week or more and they will no longer respond to me emails or social media. Not ok for a company to be deceitful. And it looks like I’m not the only person they’ve done this to.

COMPANY is HORRIBLE! Do NOT order from QALO. We received our first set of rings and shipping took a VERY long time even with expedited shipping. We received them and they both had a tear in the engraving which caused the rings to break after 1 week. After numerous attempts to contact the company, they did respond with a credit. We made the mistake of giving them a 2nd chance and ordered 2 more rings! It has been OVER 2 months and we have NOT received the rings and every couple weeks they reply with a comment 'we are moving, 'we have inventory issues,' and more. They had NO problem taking my money! STAY AWAY!!! STAY AWAY! The POSITIVE REVIEWS you see are FAKE!

Misinformation

Placed an order with expedited shipping and no where did it say the item was delayed. FAQ says 2-3 business days for processing if custom (mine is not) and priority mail. Got an email confirmation saying 4 - 7 business days. I reached out to customer service on March 26th for a refund for the cost of expedited shipping and still have not received any responses. Email confirmation for customer service says 48hrs for response time.

Not sure about the product but their customer service/FAQ needs some work

This company went above and beyond to help me get the perfect ring. They stayed on top of responding to my text messages at all time and even saved the day when my delivery address needed to be changed ASAP. The quality of the ring is exceptionally great! I would highly recommend 1000 percent to anyone

Wedding Ring

I had purchased a ring for my husband and a couple weeks after our wedding the ring became loose and started to fall off. I reached out to Qalo customer service and the rep Kennia was very helpful. I was able to reorder a smaller size at no charge. Now it's a perfect fit!! I really appreciate it. Thank you!!
