Great experience
We had a consultation with Hugo Baron. He was able to help us in English when we had difficulty in understanding some Dutch terms. He responded fast and gave relevent information. He held our hand through the entire process and made sure we understood everything and that everthing was clear. As first time expat buyers we were unsure over alot of things and Hugo made the whole process less stressful. Would definitly recommend him for any expats.

Satisfied but not worry-free
I successfully got my mortgage approved with the help of Qonsult. They did a good job however some communication was not great. I had to be proactive and double check information. There were some errors in my mortgage proposal and incorrect dates in my guarantee form that I caught. In addition some things were not explained clearly to me upfront (like why a certain mortgage provider was chosen over others). The document was later provided with the proposal, but not communicated to me upfront. Overall, a good financial consultancy if you check everything thoroughly like me, but I would not recommend it if you want a worry-free process.

Stay away! They tell you what you want to hear to get you to sign the co ntract, because once the contract is signed, they can demand money from you. They don't care about ypur financial wellbeing, or informing you of the risks etc. Unsustainable business practices that caused months of stress and hell in my life.

Yvar from Qonsult team is a legend! Before I signed up with them, I asked him if I can get a mortgage ASAP, and he promised me that it was very much possible and that he will try his best.
