Terrible Vet - The reception staff were brilliant

The reception staff were brilliant, very helpful and polite.
However the vet here is very rough with dogs. Grabbed collar to choke dog for inspection. My dog was cowering in the corner before the interaction. After I didn’t hold the dogs collar tight round her neck, he roughly grabbed and twisted the collar and lifted her up by the throat. She is a very quite timid dog.
I will never go back while he is the only practicing vet at the surgery.

Will be removing our dog after this…

Will be removing our dog after this mornings appointment, the vet was aggressive and rude, roughly tightening a choker lead even tho she was secured on a harness, grabbing at our dogs face, roughly pulling and stretching her ears, the vet made it a very uncomfortable experience, when trying to report the situation at the desk, their response was " I suggest you just leave then" It was a very strange experience and would never take an other animal here !!!

Emergency Treatment

My dog recently had an injury resulting in a nasty cut. The vet saw her immediately, and within a few hours the wound had been stitched and she was back home. The service was professional and helpful. On a further visit to check the wound, the veterinary nurse was kind and attentive. I made a claim through my pet insurance and the paperwork was returned quickly by the practice to my insurer.

Not professional at all

Not professional at all - I got made to feel that the problem with my pet was my own fault. The main vet is arrogant and rude. Only interested in making money and not a care for the animals or it’s owners.

Some of the staff are lovey and caring but I was made to feel so bad about the problem.

I no longer take my pets to them as a result of very poor unprofessional behaviour from the vet/owner.

Highly recommend Queens Park Vets

I’ve had 2 cats cared for under Queens Park Vets, they’ve both had long term conditions and have recieved excellent care and treatment. All the staff are very friendly, reassuring and comforting, especially when I’ve been given upsetting news. I can not recommend their services enough :)

Excellent care and compassion

The care and compassion from all staff is second to none. They all know our pets by name and know their characteristics. When our dog went missing they helped by placing the details on their social media page and also keeping a look out themselves. When we had to sadly make the decision to put our previous dog to sleep, they were brilliant with our pet aswell as with us. Thank you to everyone for everything and whilst we have a pet, we will be a customer of Queens Park Veterinary Surgery
