Kitchen Make Over
Have just had our kitchen updated with doors and Quartz counter tops and replacement sink, Adam and Billy the fitters went above and beyond with making sure everything fitted correctly including fitting the cooker and oven. It has totally transformed our kitchen and we are 100% happy with it.
Steve the fitter did a first class job…
Steve the fitter did a first class job of fitting our quarrz overlays and splashbacks.
A new sink and gas hob was also included in the installation.
However, quartzise(joes doors) arranged to have the sink and hob delivered on the same day as the installation. It didnt arrive untill 3.30pm delaying the fitter.
It also meant that the gas hob couldnt be connected until the next day.
The hob is faulty and one of the hobs wont ignite.
I contacted quartzise and they didnt want to know.
They stated that it was our responsibility.
Overall the customer service of this company is very poor but they charge top dollar for their products.
They charged £250 for the hob which I have since discovered only costs £134.99 when i registered it for the warranty.
Quartz placemats - Fab
I ordered a number of quartz placemats across two orders. The company were friendly, helpful. efficient. The products are fab - I love them!
Would not recommend, quartz worktops are like glass
Paid nearly £3,000 for quartz overlay worktops after being told they were very strong, hard-wearing, could handle hot pans, and ideal for rental properties.
They looked great when fitted, and the contractors did a really good job. The company was also quick to respond when I got in touch.
However, within 2 weeks the worktop chipped. While I accept I must have caused it, the impact was so minor I didn’t even realise when or how it happened, which says a lot about the durability.
I was then offered just £25 off a repair, which felt pretty insulting given the cost.
So not a completely bad experience, but these worktops are definitely not as hard-wearing as advertised. Worth knowing before making such an expensive investment. My old laminate worktops lasted 20 years without a mark these didn’t last two weeks.

On noticing a crack in the worktop that has an appeared on the last 4 years. Quarzize are not going to replace or repair the cracked worktop without a charge of £150. The after sale service is very poor. I spent over £4000 to replace the worktops and would have expected more from the company.
I will not be recommending the company to any of my family and friends.
Very unhappy customer
Do not use this firm!
Do not use this firm!
Last year, quartzize fitted my worktops. The fitter had all his equipment outside at the front of my house. He (Chris) asked where he could get some lunch. When I looked outside and saw how much equipment was there I asked if he wanted me to go for him as it was only round the corner. I wish I hadn't asked him that question, as, at the end of the day he did NOT repay me what I had paid out for his lunch and also when I paid him for the work he had done that day he never gave me any change. I contacted quartzize and they said the matter was between me and the fitter! I have read the reviews on this firm and seen that there have been many problems with the fitters. quartzize, to get out of having any problems with their customers, just say that "The fitters do not work for us and they work for themselves so it is not our problem. They are not interested what "their" fitters do, they do what they want.
If you do have worktops fitted by quartzize, be careful. All they are interested in is how much money they can get out of you. I did complain to them, but nothing has been done. They are totally UNINTERESTED. They do not care & actually side with the thieving staff they employ. I would NOT recommend quartzize to anyone and if I had known what they were like in the first place, I would have stayed well away. They make me sick. Absolutely disgusting firm.
Absolutely disgusting behavior. Stay away if you do not want to lose money. Check out the other many complaints about this disgusting firm.
Excellent Customer Service
Anthony O'Connor was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail about the process of having new worktops and splash backs fitted.
A perfect job.
Carwyn Hill was the fitter who was sent to fit the new worktops. He arrived on time as arranged and started immediately.
He was most polite from start to finish.
His standard of work was top notch and nothing too much trouble. No mess no problems.
I would employ him anytime to repeat for anyone.
Peter Clare
Carwyn Hill was our worktops fitter…
Carwyn Hill was our worktops fitter yesterday He was exemplary and ultra efficient from start to finish. His work was absolutely outstanding. I would recommend him as one of the best fitters for anyone. Thank you Carwyn. Rita and Peter Clare.
Always striving for excellence!!!
I was lucky enough to have the absolute pleasure of working for this company from October to February 2026 and the level of professionalism I encountered was second to none.
The customer is always at the heart of everything they do from the initial home visit request, sales consultants, surveyors, manufacturing, deliveries and payments and the superb account management team, overseen by a fabulous Installation Manager, Customer Care lead and Company Directors and not forgetting the outstanding team of fitters who are the final hurdle to bringing it all together and make the customers dreams come true - they really are outstanding.
They take so much care and precision to ensure that customer satisfaction is a key priority and I commend them for their approach to being at their best.
Well done to all the team - I will never forget the kindness you awarded me and I wish you all the very best success for what’s to come!!
I have use this company three times in…
I have use this company three times in different houses over the years and spent thousands of pounds with them. Hitherto minor chips have been repaired free of charge. This time a bolshy jobsworth wants
£150 to come and make them good
I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. so
Much for being a loyal Customer Over the years. In short if you want good service don’t use these guys there are plenty of others out there
It gets worse and worse
We had our quartzize tops installed a few years ago and almost immediately had problems. After many delays no shows etc they reluctantly replaced one top but not the other.
The crack on the one they refused to replace has obviously grown and a large crack has appeared in the replaced top.
We spoke to a delightful receptionist but despite her efforts nobody senior would talk to us.
The tops are still under guarantee. All they would offer is that someone inspects them for a non-returnable £150.00 to cover their travel expenses!! and maybe they will try and repair them
Words defy me
I am delighted with my new kitchen…
I am delighted with my new kitchen worktops. The salesman was helpful (not at all pushy) The surveyor was very thorough and the fitter Jake did a fantastic job too!
Really pleased with all the work…
Really pleased with all the work carried out by this team and company. Meg kept us updated with deliveries and work schedules. The delivery driver Lucas and mate Danny were very polite and helpful and put all the items where we wanted them. Fitters Peter and Micky could not have been more helpful, friendly and professional.
Peter answered all the questions asked and did a great job. Would definitely recommend you and your team to friends and family that required this kind of work. Many thanks.
I had a kitchen makeover last year and…
I had a kitchen makeover last year and when the men fitted the new sink and taps they fitted the taps the wrong way - hot and cold the opposite way to how they are marked. I contacted the company regarding this and their answer was the policy is I should have let them know within 72 hours. I didn’t realise they were set up wrong until my daughter pointed it out. So no proper aftercare so wouldn’t recommend. Not good customer service. :(:(
I had kitchen cupboards and worktop…
I had kitchen cupboards and worktop installed over a year ago, together with a a new sink. I was not very happy recently to find that part of the cupboard has fallen off (not very good workmanship for this to happen). However they are rightfully coming out to put it right. At the same time I mentioned that I never actually received a plug for my sink and asked if they could kindly supply one (which I should have received in the first place). Got a call today to say I should have told them within 3 days so they wont supply a plug! I am disgusted with this petty attitude, particularly as for me to find this particular size of plug is going to be impossible. Not impressed with this sort of customer service.
Having trusted the glowing reviews…
Having trusted the glowing reviews here, I'm sad to say my experience has been dreadful. If you want to risk using them here's my advice:
Before you go ahead
1. The expert agent that does the measurements may not be so expert.
A worktop was incorrectly measured by the agent. The fitters discovered this c. 2 hours into the fitting, They contact HQ with the correct measurements and a replacement panel was made overnight. Unfortunately the replacement panel was made to the original measurements not the new ones; something only picked up by the fitters when the panel finally arrived here (poor quality control), so the installation could not be completed.
2. Add important things to you about the installation to the plan.
I discussed the location of the top joints in some detail with the agent and had her add a note about a second section being in one piece. After the debacle of the wrongly meaured and remade top, I finally got a slot with the fitters some 16 days later (having to manage with no sink/water in the kitchen). About half an hour in, the fitters ask whether they could cut this long-awaited panel into 1 or 2 pieces to fit it! Obviously not. I would never gone with the company had this been the case. Several discussions happen between the fitters and HQ, then the fitters pack up - seems they also broke the panel! Day 3 is over, nothing fitted and I still have no sink or water.
3. Allow for MANY more days than the 1 day for installation.
You need extra for delivery (see below) and for further attempts at completing the job. If you are on your own, elderly or have any disabilities, the company does not have enough resources to support any problems that occur with an installation; the 2+ weeks between fixes may be challenging e.g. no water or sink, kitchen content in boxes - I have to ask an neighbour each time to move the microwave back onto a surface, etc. If they get it right next time, the installation would have taken a month.
4. Contract
Read the back of the pink form. Lots to protect them but very little to protect you.
5. Payment
I regret being bullied into paying the second payment to get the worktops delivered. I would hold onto some money to ensure the job is done. Make sure you use a credit card for some protection.
Installation
1. If you are given a delivery date - be prepared that this might not include everything.
Panels, sink and the tap came on different days. I had to chase them for the sink and tap. The sink delivery blocked my car in, so I could not get out - I had to wait for the fitters to arrive 3 days later.
2. If they disconnect your sink and don't finish on the day - you might be waterless and sinkless in the kitchen for weeks.
3. Fitters might/might not come back the next day - they may be assigned elsewhere,
You won’t receive any call to tell you this, you have to try and get hold of someone in customer care. Fitters seem to be assigned jobs across a fortnight, so allow at least 14 days between each installation attempt. If the fitters tell you the office will call “within the hour” they won’t - you have to call them.
Customer care
1. You can only call the Quartzize number.
This number is temperamental. If it rings more than 1m18s you’ll get cut off (especially on Fridays). If Harry answers the phone - lovely chap - he can attempt to ring people but more often than not he has to send a message to them - they will not rush to call you back. It takes between 5-10 calls to get through on average but that may only result in leaving a message from Harry.
2. Customer care can only be contacted by email. Response rate is low/glacial.
3. Customer complaints are by email - you cannot speak to a human and you are treated as less than a human with any email response.
Have a thick skin when raising a customer complaint - it is your fault they can't measure, manufacture or install the product specified. You’ll be asked to give dates for "remedial work" up to 6 weeks out - even though you have nothing to remedy as the job is nowhere complete.
The fact that they have failed to provide the service you have purchased, that you have no workable kitchen, including no water/sink in the kitchen does not bother them.

Beautiful Worktops
We have upcycled our kitchen ourselves, but felt worktops were a step too far for new-DIYers. Overlays seemed a good approach, and Quartsize seemed the obvious choice.
I am delighted with the worktops we have had fitted.
We have a complicated kitchen layout, with multiple areas, and (due to multiple kitchen renos by previous owners!) not all our worktops were the same depth/height/material. However, this didn't appear to be a problem at all, and we now have beautiful, even, well-fitted, high quality worksurfaces.
The wait time was not too long (about 8 weeks) and the fitter on the day was excellent, producing great results, ringing us the day before, and the day afterwards to sort arrangements.
The choice of overlays was wonderful, and we have one we are really happy with, that works well with our kitchen.
A few things would have made the experience better
- you really are tied into a sales pitch, and we felt quite backed into a corner. I wanted to think about which worktop we went for, but we needed to sign on the day to guaruntee the prices.
- the communication isn't great. We handed over a £1500 deposit, and only had a paper receipt, and throughout, it's paper and phonecalls - I really wanted a digital paper trail as we were spending so much money!
- other reviews have commented on the waste collection being poor - we did have our waste collected by a third party arranged by Quartsize, but not all the waste was collected. We were given 30mins notice as I was at work during the time, and the fitter had put some of the waste in the garage, so now we're stuck with a lot of waste we need to dispose of ourselves.
- we were told by the salesperson that the joins are invisible, and this simply isn't true. There are two clear joins in our work surface due to us needing a long length. The finished result is neat and tidy, but I am dissapointed having been sold the dream of a perfect smooth finish all round
The best ever work done for us
Over the years we have had many jobs done but this one exceeded all our expectations. There were four contractors /employees involved on delivery of materials and different skills and their communications meant everything went very smoothly. The fitter (Owen) was very pleasant and helpful keeping us informed of progress, asking when options were available and the results are excellent. The total cost was well below what we thought it might be and in my opinion capping a worktop is the way forward. The office kept us well informed thanks to Tal and others. Well done
Alastair Stott kitchen consultant came…
Alastair Stott kitchen consultant came today to measure and price. Excellent service. Arrived on time, explained everything in detail, we were able to pick the design which Alastair was able to show us on his phone what our kitchen would look like when finished. We’re looking forward to having it installed
Thank you Julie and Paul
