Avoid Quest awnings!

I bought a Quest falcon airbeam caravan porch awning. Yes it was a good, cheap price but that is exactly what i got! A cheap crap product. It leaked like a tap at the slightest bit of moisture & collapsed at the slightest breath of wind. Hopefully will get good service from Highbridge caravan center,Somerset when i return it. Will never buy a quest product again....AVOID THIS COMPANY!...Quest i mean....

Deceptive advertising

I ordered a luxury King Size sleeping bag but when it arrived it was only a single size !
Be sure to check their measurments as I only read ' King Size ' in their ads and did not che k the measurements ..
Putting 'King Size ' in the ad infers that it is the same size as a king size bed .
There is no single bed that is called a king Size so why call the sleeping bag King Size !

Best customer care I have ever had

I don’t normally do reviews however I have had the best customer care I have ever had. One of my tent poles broke because my husband over tightened the peg down and the wind caught it. I rang on the 7th May and spoke to Angie Partridge she asked me to send photos and today 10th May I have received a replacement. A very exemplary employee.
Other businesses should take a leaf out of Quest Leisure’s business.

Some woman just answered the phone like…

Some woman just answered the phone like she was at home watching TV. I didn't believe it was an official company at all. When I told her this she said that she had told me when she answered the phone that they were quest leisure. I had to ask her several times who I was calling and who she was and she only respond with " who is this?" And " who are you?" I found that to be personal rather than the way someone answering calls for a business would speak and phrase questions.

When I pointed out to her that this was the way she took the call and that I was pretty certain she never answered my call by stating I had contacted quest leisure she told me "You obviously wasn't listening then!"

I told her she needed to work on her telephone manner and go on a customer service course. She was massive aggressive and playing dumb and difficult throughout the call.

I gave her some brief outline of why I was call. I gave her some history of how my vulnerable sister came by a quest leisure hot plate after it was supplied to her by SGN. I explained how it never worked and my mentaly unwell sister had been left without cooking facilities after her gas was capped. My sister has not been able to cook, wash and initial had not heating since February.

We had no joy getting through to SGN as we keep being directed back to the emergency gas service. So we picked up the hotplate and bought it home with us. I contacted the manufacturer to do some trouble shooting.

The person at quest leisure who took my call kept butting in and saying things like " I don't understand" and generally being awkward in an attempt to cause tension.

She even said she didn't know who SGN was and if they supplied to them. She said she would need time to check. I pointed out whether they did or not was irrelevant to troubleshooting the appliance.

I asked her many times do you even understand why I'm calling?

She said " yes you are worried about your sister"

I asked her why would I call you if I was worried about my sister?

She rudely and in an abrupt tone said " give me your name and number"

Why?

" Give me your name and number!"

" Excuse me!?"

" Do you want me to help you or not!"

" Can you trouble shoot the appliance or replace it for us?"

" Ok let me get this straight! It's now yours and not your sisters?"

" Wow! Are you accusing us of lying for some reason? We have it here with us! It is my sister's! Do you have a relevant aftersales trouble shooting department or not?"

" I need to speak to this SGN"

" Why? are they going to troubleshoot it for us because last time we checked they are a gas company "

" I just don't know who they are and need to find out"

" I would like to speak to someone else like a manager"

" I am team leader and there's no manager and only two of us "

" Then that's one more than you so I would like to speak to the other person "

" They are on the phone "

Honestly this person had the television on in the background not a colleague on another phone. They were inappropriate and had the worst telephone manner

Don't buy anything from these people. It won't work anyway.

Terrible company.

Terrible company.. item missing parts.. contacted company.. disgusting customer service….
I wont be purchasing anything again and i will tell friends to avoid this company
Even one star is to good for them!!!!

Dye transfer from Quest Elite Bordeaux Pro…

Brought 2 Quest Elite Bordeaux Pro Comfort chairs for our caravan this summer. After sitting in them noticed the dye had transferred onto my husbands shorts and even after washing is still noticeable. Obviously we now can't use them if wearing light coloured clothing. Have sent 2 messages to the company and not had a response to either message. For an expensive chair this is extremely dissapointing as is their lack of customer service. Wouldn't have given any stars had this been an option

Bought a Quest roof box with two keys

Bought a Quest roof box with two keys. I found it is impossible to buy replacement keys either on line or through the manufacturer. Who makes and sells an article where you can't get a replacement key from anywhere? What a mess!! When contacted they tried to help but could not, now I am left with a roof box which cannot be locked if the keys go missing. Be aware!!!

Quest Ragley Pro Lounger. VERY POOR QUALITY

Quest Ragley Pro Lounger. Poor quality.

I have literally just received a brand new Ragley Pro Lounger, and it has a obvious manufacturing fault in the top cover material, which appears like a "ladder" extending about 60cm along the length of the material.
This is extremely disappointing, as this item is sold at a premium price of around £150, and is a fault which should have been noticed during manufacture of the lounger. Clearly a lack of robust/effective quality control!
I will now have the inconvenience of re-packing and returning via courier to the retailer.
NOT HAPPY. I will not be buying any Quest products in the future, and will certainly not recommend Quest products.
Designed in the UK maybe, but made in China with questionable quality.

Deeply disappointed with the Falcon 220…

Deeply disappointed with the Falcon 220 porch awning. Purchased in 2021 to replace an outdoor revolution that's served us well for over 10 years. Within three months the fabric had become brittle and felt like tissue paper and it took a minor prod with a fairly blunt instrument to push a hole straight through. Its now twelve months old and full of holes, the fabric is just utter rubbish. Clearly an issue with UV to become so flimsy. Shockingly bad compared to out old OR porch awning. Twelve months and all its good for is the bin!

Not quick or easy

Bought a Quest Elite porch awning,the quickest awning to erect on the market.
Instructions totally unhelpful but there is an article on how to erect on utube.
Great I thought this looks easy.
After 45 minutes I still couldn't get the top central pole to stay in position.
This item is not quick or easy or of particularly good quality.
If you are looking to buy a porch awning look elsewhere.

5m Bell tent and large tarp problems.

Purchased one of their 5m bell tents at the national camping show and the first time I put it up it worked fine, but the second time the outer door zipper broke.

The second issue came with the large tarp which had obviously been used in displays as there were markings on the tarp and two out of the three poles were completely unusable. Apparently, Quest doesn't have a proper quality control system in place to check for these faults or they know about them and sell them on anyway. Fortunately, PJ Outdoors is doing its best to replace the faulty items. Unless Quest offers compensation for tainting my recent camping trip I don't believe I'll be buying from them again.

Be sure to check every item you buy from Quest before you take it out to avoid an unpleasant suppose when you're in the middle of nowhere.

As an addition to this Quest also make the bags items come just ever so slightly bigger than the item meaning its difficult getting them out and near impossible to get them back in.
