It's all good until it's not
Online order process seemed simple and my daughter had used the service with no issues previously. Completed order and uploaded docs 3 times, each time an online message confirmed receipt and said I would receive next steps within 6 working hours. 4 days passed and I used the "contact us" option online to ask for a refund due to no contact. After a further 3 days I called and was immediately interrupted when explaining the situation. He had an incredibly aggressive approach to customer service and refused to let me speak with a manager (actually said he was the manager and then put the phone down). From the details on companies house and the lack of visibility of the owners or directors on any professional platforms I can only assume this is a very small set up who think they can deal with people in any way they choose. Dispute raised with the bank for refund and I'm hoping this review helps others avoid the horrible morning I've had in dealing with them
Update following reply- I'm grateful for such a speedy and polite reply, I only wish our telephone conversation had been the same. I am ashamed to say I allowed myself to respond to the hostility I faced (although I must be clear that this was said to myself as the call was ending). I see from other reviews it's not an isolated piece of feedback so possibly an area for development in your approach to conflict resolution

Great Plates in Quick Time
I was searching online for a reasonably priced set of number plates for my van and came across Quick Plates. The process was simple – I filled in their online form, uploaded photos of my documents, and placed the order.
I assumed delivery would take a few days, so I planned to fit the plates the following week. To my surprise, less than 18 hours later, the postman was struggling to get a package through the letterbox – it was my new plates!
Brilliant service, lightning-fast delivery, and no hassle at all. I’ll definitely use Quick Plates again and would highly recommend them if you need new number plates.

Rejected my V5C photo 4 times
They rejected my V5C photo 4 times, as I was covering parts of the 11 digit doc number (top right hand corner), which should never be shared, due to risk of vehicle cloning, and vehicle theft. They should know this.
All other information was clearly displayed, registration number and name and address.
In the end I got fed up of having my "documents rejected" and took photo of entire front page.
Then the plates were dispatched and received quickly.
More sympathy to personal security and I would have given them 5 stars, as rest of process was good, simple and efficient.

However, it’s important to clarify that UK law requires us to verify the entire original V5C document, including the full 11-digit document reference number. This information must be visible and unobscured in the photo for us to legally process and supply number plates. We fully appreciate the need for caution online, but as a registered plate supplier, we must comply with DVLA regulations—no exceptions are permitted.

Be careful. It is only when you get to the checkout page that they will insist you send them further documentation otherwise they can’t process your order! I requested a refund within one hour of placing my order and as per their terms and conditions they charge you a £6 admin fee! This is the catch! Read other reviews, and I see the same issues are being posted. Shop elsewhere…….

Avoid
Avoid at all costs. After taking payment they then say your docs are no good. Within 1 minute of getting the email telling me I asked to cancel the order. They did but charged meca ridiculous admin fee. Should make it clear on order page what hoops you got to jump through to satisfy you. Terrible company.
