What is going on at Quick Step at the moment?! I ordered via a 3rd party for the entire downstairs of our home. The guidelines were that we had 20 mins to inspect the goods and the delivery driver would wait until we were satisfied all was present and correct. The goods arrived on a palette, the driver told us he was only paid to deliver and he had other deliveries and wouldn't be waiting. So we brought all the boxes inside, did a visual inspection (2 different types of flooring) and opened a box of both boxes to satisfy ourself that all was good.
Several weeks later our flooring contractor arrived and started install of the LVT concrete tile effect flooring in our utility and WC. About half way through I noticed that the tiles were different colours, one was noticeably darker. So I checked the boxes again. There is writing no bigger than your thumbnail and only on one single tiny corner of the box is written the name. We ordered Pebble Concrete, they delivered a mix of Pebble Concrete and Oyster Concrete. So we sent our contractor away and 2 'correct' boxes were ordered for us so we could complete the job.
They arrived 7 days later and even though the attached invoice said 'Pebble Concrete' the boxes were actually 2 more boxes of the 'wrong' colour. The delivery driver said he couldn't take them back and I should phone Quick Step. So I had to delay my floorer again, bearing in mind it's now coming up very close to Xmas and very hard to get people in.
2 more boxes were ordered and it is now 10 days later and despite being told they'd arrive yesterday there is no sign of them. And I have no idea what colour is arriving. So I'm less than 3 weeks out from Xmas and may well be spending it on concrete floors at this rate. QuickStep have cost me almost a month and additional costs with my flooring contractor - I'm fed up and cannot in any way recommend them.
EDIT to reply to Quick Step: Our supplier ordered directly from Quick Step / Unilin in Dundalk.

Extremely disappointed with the purchase of Quick Step flooring fitted throughout our new bungalow.
Fitting was expertly carried out by the main contractor but over the last two years gaps have increased in the area of thresholds, windows and elsewhere.
I contacted the supplier who referred us to Quick Step to highlight re their guarantee/warranty.
An email response followed from their Technical Services Director UK & IRE, Lee Thompson, refuting any fault in the flooring suggesting the cause of contraction was an event 'post-fitting'.
While there had been notable solar flares from the sun over the last year or so there has certainly been no seismic events in our locality affecting the underfloor in our house.
Having spent thousands of pounds on the flooring, it was disappointing to say the least that Quick Step washed their hands of the issue and didn't even offer a sample strip in order that areas of movement could be redone.
So in short, Quick Steps customer satisfaction scores 'zéro point'.
My only regret is that I should have opted to purchase near identical own brand flooring from the builders merchants, (Howdens) who would at least honour warranty issues.
In essence, give Quick Step a wide berth.

I have ordered 2 samples on the 15th of November. 2 weeks later I still didn't receive my order. I have contacted them quering where my order was via their online form last Friday and haven't received a response at all.

Reply from Quick-Step
The ordering process was fine and you acknowledged our order. However we have not received the samples for which we paid £11.98p. Therefore we have just put this down to bad experience and tried somewhere else.

Most of the website is OK, but the payments section is poorly localised for UK addresses. This causes unwarranted worry about deliveries.
Our house has a name but no street number. Most websites these days allow you to enter a postcode, and select a specific address (number, street name or house name, street name) from a list. They then populate form accordingly. UK addresses also often have a local and postal town pairing rather than just a city. For instance an address could be Chigley, Trumpton as the local, postal town pairing. There is no provision for entering a town pairing, just a street and a vity. So which is it? When I entered my street name and postcode it populated the form with my equivalent of Chigley, so I left it at that.
This quick-step website is obviously based on a European design, where you enter Street name followed by house number. A field for house name comes after both of these so I put the house name there.
My house does not have a street number (it predates the street) but the form requires a house number to complete -- so I ended up using 4, as I know that neighbour well.
The billing address form is the same, so I cannot put the correct billing address in there, so left it 'same as delivery address'
The billing address as displayed does not support the house name, so my anonymised billing address shows up on the invoice as
Fred Bloggs
Any Street 4
TT12 3AB Chigley
When it should be:
Fred Blogs,
Old House, Any Street
Chigley,
Trumpton
TT12 3AB
Royal Mail postmen will be able to decode it , but will delivery drivers -- I don't know so I have to wait in all day for a delivery which may not turn up because they 'could not find the address'
Not very good
UPDATE:
And - surprise! - Not delivered on the chosen delivery date with no communication from Quick-step or any courier

I purchased 77sqm of flooring in the beginning of october, on the same day it was delivered I contacted our supplier with photos of swollen joints, they forwarded this onto quickstep who agreed I should omit the faulty planks , use the gopd ones, and I could get replacements. Therefore accepting there is a fault. Continued to have them fitted the issues still remained and also chipping of the top layer of the boards became an apparent problem. It was decided upon speaking with our supplier and QS that the planks should be removed, they were too bad and QS arranged collection.
I was able to get most of my money back from my supplier, but here is the kicker, ive now paid to have the floor 95% laid and removed , upon being told to do so in order to get a materials refund, so have put in a claim to have some fitting costs covered.
After all its not my fault , that its faulty, right?
And they agreed there was an issue hence telling me to omit the damaged/faulty planks from the packs? Yeah?
Wrong....Quick step have said there is nothing wrong with the planks...... wait theyre magically cured? Praise be!!!
Funny how the moment i say i want to make a claim for this, everything is fine, the photographic evidence i sent and they agreed had issues, all gone.
Disgusting customer service , had previously used their products with no issue, this particular product is fit for purpose and I wouldn't touch with a barge pole .

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear, I will not give up until I get a satisfactory resolution, I have all the photos and emails. And good luck reviewing my case, as no one can ever seem to call back.

Order could not be fulfilled on advised date 25/11/25.
Quick step could not confirm revised delivery arrangements despite multiple calls and emails to confirm alternative arrangements. Quick step appear unable to respond to communications.
As a result requested cancelation of order now waiting for confirmation.
Sorry Quickstep are unable to acknowledge and address their failures.
They took my order and booked delivery when they did not have stock.
They were given numerous opportunities to confirm an alternative delivery date but did not.
When contacted on phone they gave a different tale on every call so information could not be trusted, which is why order was cancelled.
They have now cancelled my order and advised refund should be made in upto 3 weeks.
I am sorry that Quickstep appear to think this is acceptable.

Quickstep have the most generous sample sizes. Such a high quality company.

I don't know if the order is dispatched or not and haven't received any tracking number. What's the point of giving feedback when no item is received.
Update: Sent email to the address mentioned in order confirmation and received the order.
Product samples are really good. I think the only issue was not receiving the info on when to expect the order, therefore changing the rating to give for ease of ordering and quality product.
