I haven't actually used it enough to…

I haven't actually used it enough to enable a detailed review. I'll say im happy iv been able to control my child's phone activities. I'll explore other functions like phone tracking etc as time goes on.

The customer service and support are non existent

I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy. It has one star because I can't do zero stars. I've paid for the annual coverage. There are no phone numbers for assistance, no live chat. The only way to get assistance is set up a 30 minute appointment after paying $99.00 dollars. I set up the appointment and have to wait 5 days for the first available.
The customer service/support is non existent.

As an idea is perfect but the implementation is not.

As an idea is perfect, but the kids learn quite fast how to overcome this by using certain VPN and at some point I didn't trusted anymore to give me accurate reports.

I like that qustodio monitors what my…

I like that qustodio monitors what my kids access and what they try to access.

The websites and apps lock can get difficult when they have more than one device.

I like the newer feature how we can add more time and it doesn't mess up time limits.

Parent app is insecure and kids app has issues

At first this seemed like a good app. Did what I wanted and wasn't hard to install. There were a few red flags though. The company wanted to be paid up front for a year's service which I've only ever encountered before in poor performance services. Basically if you subscribed per month they'd never make money because people would end after using it for a short period. That said, it did what I needed for my 11 year olds new phone.
I ran into issues when I realised that the parent app was not protected on my own phone. So my son could just change the settings whenever he wanted. I have no way to stop him accessing it which seems an absolutely idiotic oversight. My 8 yo daughter occasionally uses my phone for things like pictures so he can get into it if he really wanted. There are apps for far less important things that need a password or bio data so I'm honestly confused as to why it's not protected. For protection there is an option to require bio data after 30 seconds of inactivity. Furthermore, my son quickly discovered you can stop the app updating if you put on airplane mode, so he can skillfully get more time to play games without it updating times. Company does seem to be a grab your money and don't give it back regardless of shoddy products.

Worst value for money – completely unreliable

I purchased this app with the goal of controlling my daughters’ Wi-Fi usage, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. Even when I block the Wi-Fi through the app, their devices remain connected to the internet. The usage reports are also totally inaccurate — they show hours of activity when the devices are actually turned off and with me. For the price they charge, this level of failure and unreliability is unacceptable. An absolute disgrace of an app.

Would you like me to make a slightly shorter version as well (better suited for App Store character limits)?

Disappointing. Time delays render alerts useless

Disappointed with this app that was an extremely expensive option. The delay between the message and alert can be up to 48 hours which is useless. Flags nonsense and harmless words but then things it should flag (like our daughter being asked for a photo by an unknown number) not flagged at all. Location tracking doesn't work, app permissions in routines is also useless as it only shows five or so apps on the phone. Definitely haven't felt like this has been value for money

I note Qustodios response below but this is a token reply. I've spent weeks going around in circles with support getting nothing but cookie cut (no doubt from a help centre knowledge bank) replies. The delay issue was not investigated or resolved.

Caused technical problems with my phone.
It wasn't even 24 hours and I tried to cancel but they still charged my credit card for full balance

Do not subscribe to premium cos there is not much difference to basic

Its not user friendly and its hopeless if you want to monitor apple phones. It lags and takes forever or unreliable to update change times and routines.

I set times for my sons phone but then read phone activity still in use several hours later!!

Its so unclear how to navigate when setting a time limit with apps and total time of phone usage!

Not happy with this service and i regret paying premium and by reading reviews i dont want more stress trying to seek for money back!

I regretably have 5 months left but gonna cut my losses and unistall this buggy app and research a bettter MDM application!

Great service

I forgot to cancel my subscription when we no longer required device monitoring for our son. Requested a refund which was granted no problems

Very shady billing & subscription. Do not use.

The product worked reasonably well when we had it. But there were limitations on what could be controlled rendering it an incomplete solution.

However, more a concern: Qustodio makes it nearly impossible to cancel your premium subscription. It's extremely shady and really annoying, and we were charged for additional years without noticing this even after requesting cancellation. For this reason, please don't use this product, or figure out how to ensure you turn off auto-renew (impossible) immediately after you subscribe.

Appalling and Complicated for Average User.

This app was the most appalling app ever. What a waste of hours of my time.
The app blocked Brave browser, wouldn't allow us to unblock it, then it logged us out of the computer and would not allow us to log back in.
Now we have a massive problem trying to regain access to the computer. I'm very angry at hours of time wasted. I certainly wont be buying a subscription. It's way too complicated to use and they should be paying me for the damage their program has done to my son's computer which is now unusable.

A true experience

I was trying to setup something that needed my camera, and qustudio said no. It takes away privacy for who evers device it's installed on. And constantly feeling like you are being watching is unsettling af.

Simple and straightforward

I have used parental controls through apple and google and they were never very user friendly. I would find some areas were not monitored as well as I would like while other areas had too much supervision without customization options. Qustodio has so far satisfied all of my parental control goals with a simple user interface that was easy to understand and make changes as needed. I love that I get an email if they detect something that may be concerning or when my child tries to access a blocked website. The location tracking is updated frequently and it lets me know when my child leaves home and arrives at school. 5 stars from me!

Zero customer support despite paid…

Zero customer support despite paid premium subscription. Impossible to recover forgotten passwords. It requires a kid to create own account with own password to install an app. Without such app one cannot control/supervise that device. Once password is forgotten you are stuck. No way to recover no answer from Support
